Several weeks ago, we spent a night in the Abescon area, as we were attending a family reunion/birthday party. Rather than stay in a large, impersonal hotel, my cousin did some searching and found the Dr. Jonathan Pitney House. We are so glad she did! What a gem! It's a beautiful historical house that has been lovingly restored by the...

A beautifully restored historical home (C. 1799) with lovely rooms, private baths, wonderful breakfast, and absolutely delightful inn keepers. Just opened this summer, couldn't be happier to find this gem. Each room is different- decorated to the time period but with modern conveniences and the softest fluffiest towels! Still dreaming of the sweet waffles....Near AC and beautiful Brigantine beach. Can't...

We found this B&B by Travelocity. The room was beautiful and spacious. The house was decorated to the time period but with all the modern amenities to make you comfortable. Everything was new and meticulously kept. The owners put a lot of thought into their renovations. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back.

We stayed one night while attending a concert in AC. The inn was lovely, very comfortable and wonderful breakfast. Tracy, the innkeeper, could not have been more gracious and helpful. Would stay again when we are in the area.

I never went to this place before but it was beautiful . The owners are very friendly and outgoing . All the rooms are beautiful so you can't miss on going at least once . All the girls that I grew with went. It was a tea and garden party. People from around the area made beaitful flower arrangements and...

This is an absolutely fabulous place - a real find amidst the modern, over-rated casinos and junky motels in the area. Moreover, it is reasonably priced. What a pleasure it was to have my morning cup of coffee on the porch rocking in a chair reading the newspaper. The breakfast was delicious - herbed egg soufflé and a fresh, homemade...

Tracy the owner is super nice. The property looked beautiful but when we drove up it was much more than we expected. It is amazing. The attention to detail, perfect gardens, beautiful flowers/trees, small areas of antiques,,, I could go on and on about the grounds. We were in the white house on the 1st floor in the Library. The...

My wife Katie and I stayed here on a last-minute trip to Atlantic City. We will definitely be back! This is the only way to stay when visiting Atlantic City. The property is immaculate. The rooms are super clean and the innkeeper Tracy is very friendly. The property is only a short 10 to 15 minute ride to Atlantic City...

We had a family reunion to attend with more family than bedrooms, so I began looking for another place to stay, someplace that wouldn't make me regret leaving the party. I found the Jonathan Pitney House through an online search and weeks in advance booked their last room for the party weekend. It was a perfect find. Tracy couldn't have...

Stayed here with my fiancé over the weekend- everything was great, wish we could have stayed longer. The inn is under new management and fully renovated and restored as of summer 2016- ignore reviews from before that. The room was beautiful and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the inn keeper was very friendly and accommodating. We booked because of the...
