Not even the rainy season can stop travelers from stumbling into all sorts of wild animals. Great location with wonderful waterhole right in front of of the lodge enabling guests to wonder over the never ending visits that come to drink. Great service. Excellent staff

Thank you Pedro, pleasure meeting you and your family.
So glad that you enjoyed your repeated stay and we hope to see you sometime again.
We were here for 2 nights just after Thanksgiving. The place was fantastic and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was some of the best I had on my trip. Our last full day there we had the entire resort to ourselves....More
We travelled with Lion World Travel, our wonderful agent was Cheryl Gould. We were there from November 27 – 29th, 2017. On driving from the airport to the Lodge we saw sable and warthogs. Our tent/room was beautiful with a view of the watering hole....More
We only had 1 night at the EV lodge. We requested a tent facing the waterhole. We had Tent 19 which was about as far as the end. I question the logic of providing a tent furthest away for a person with visual impairment. There...More

Good day. The past month of November has been great. It is a hot month still but as it is the start of the rainy season, it has cooled down a bit. I personally love November as everything comes to life after the dry season.

Hi there, I recommend SAA from Joburg to VicFalls; Zimbabwe-visa has gone cheaper and now costs 30 USD (cash!) instead of 50. Don't let others tell you the falls are in Zambia, as the best view (and the park to walk alongside it) is and always was in Zim for sure. My recommendation: do not miss "High Tea" in the Victoria Falls Hotel (USD 15) - an absolute must - apart from experiencing the friendly Zimbabwean service you will also see the bridge and the spray of the falls while dining on cucumber sandwiches. Camp sites in Zim are clean and generally safe. The people are extremely friendly and will be grateful you visit their negative-news-ridden country. Have fun!

We found that if you leave a tip at the reception, this will be split between all the staff at the lodge, which is great for people working behind the scenes. If you want to tip an individual guide who has taken you on a game drive/boat cruise then give them the tip directly. Tip amount is entirely up to you, but we gave our guides between $5-$10 per trip
