My daughter had to stay at Yotau for a week due to the quarantine; she made payment in advance, but did not manage to travel for objective reasons. It's been 12 days since, and the hotel has not reimbursed the money yet. I have called 4 times, and the only answer I get is "I don't know, I'm just a simple receptionist". The accountability personnel never seems to work. Horrible service. They just scammed us.
The hotel is located on main avenue - San Martin. The rooms are big enough and the mattresses are fine. The rooms needs a total renovation. The swimming pool is quite good and clean. The restaurant at the hotel needs a revamp of its menu to suit all kinds of taste buds.
Old rooms, loud and noisy! Guest can make party until 4 am in the morning and the hotel is not doing anything to stop it! Never again! Don‘t book that place if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place!
Overall my stay in this Hotel was great, except the cleanliness of the room, next time I'll bring my own towels, because the towels were falling apart, very yellow and stinky. Disgusting. Other that that I had a great time.
Bolivia was a land of mystery, and what better place to do that than in this beautiful majestic hotel. The staff is so kind and considerate - my Spanish is not that great, but most of the staff speaks English, and the ones that don't are patient, understanding and helpful no matter the language. The concierge gives great recommendations for food or for fun; the porters are amazingly helpful and kind, always just trying to help. Even the rooms, which I will get into more detail about, are kept impeccably clean by the housekeeping staff. Once we got checked in, by the helpful and friendly staff, we got a chance to see the hotel in all it's glory. From the ground floor you get to see the palm trees and the pools and the beautiful grounds, but only from the spacious and thoughtfully decorated rooms do you get to see the actual breathtaking view of the hotel. We stayed for over a week, and the view did not get old ever. The last night there we still found the lights and palm trees and the waterfalls to be just as stunning as that first walk in to the room. The room itself was huge! Even small touches like lights above the closet were thoughtful. The kitchen was just perfect for what we needed, and the bed could have fit a soccer team! The pillows were wonderfully fluffy and comfy, and the bathtub was big enough to soak an elephant. If I had one complaint, and this isn't a complaint, this is mere preference, I found the bed to be a bit hard for my tastes, and the blanket on the bed to be a bit thin. Certainly not a concern at all, my sleep was perfect, just a preference. We had breakfast more than not the entire week we were there, and the omelets were delicious! The cereal was perfect, and the tea was perfect every single cuppa. I think my favorite part was the juices that changed every day -- today orange, tomorrow watermelon, the next day papaya. We were lucky enough to be there over New Year's Eve, and the meal they had for the party was worth the price; they had such amazing decorations for the new year!! Everything was delicious and really fair priced.I travel a lot, and really this place was so perfect. I cannot express how wonderful this place was, so perfectly placed in the city as well with walking distance to everything we needed. I look forward to see how Santa Cruz grows and we certainly will be making a return trip. …
