THE GOOD - Rooms: rooms are nice and comfortable Bed linen is new and bed is big enough to share - Staff: is very friendly and always happy to help - green areas: were the best part!!! You have lots of green and beautiful areas to be connected to nature - Activities: if you want to disconnect from technology you have LOTS AND LOTS of activities at the hotel such as ALL KINDS OF table games, pool tables, ping pong, football area, tennis court, beach volley, karaoke, Cinema and much more!!! This was definitely my favorite because I was never bored and almost didn’t have enough time to try all the activities 👌🏻 - Food is really good, not much variety but good quality for the price and the portions are massive!!! - Breakfast: is not an American breakfast but there is variety everyday and the scrambled eggs are fresh not from a box. You have selección of breads, tea, fresh coffee, juices fruits and cold cuts; On Sundays you have bacon too. - At night you can have a nice time outdoors even in winter because the have a nice area with a fireplace. And if you prefer to stay inside there is plants of games and activities to choose from - IF you are traveling with kids THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE !!! because they will be SOOOOOO busy enjoying all the activities indoors and/or outdoors and finally stay away from their phones 📱 - The hotel is Pet friendly but make sure you take your pets bed 🛏 and the leach - The price is excellent for the value of everything you get - Location: is 30-40 minutes from the city, so not that far but far enough to be away from everything and be in contact with nature. THE BAD - Curtains at the room are not blackouts so you will definitely wake up with the sun - The bathtub is not very safe because it doesn’t have a mat or anything to prevent you from slipping - There is stairs EVERYWHERE!!! so if you have a baby stroller or a wheelchair you will have an issue to go from your room to the restaurant and other areas of the hotel - WiFi is not very good at the rooms or pool area but good enough at the lobby - Swimming Pool : is a bit cold for my taste so I couldn’t swim even though the weather was extremely hot. -There is no hair drier or kettle in the rooms

I liked a lot the surroundings beautiful views, gardens, pool, very relaxing for the weekend. It's close to a lake... You can also plan a wedding there, there's a little Chapel in the garden close to the pool. What I didn't like was that you can't pay with card... And the menu was the same 10 dishes.

We stayed two nights in this hotel, and for our purposes it was satisfactory except for the following: The menu for the restaurant which is NOT open 24 hours was about the same ten or so items for the two evenings we spent there and check-out was astonishing! NO credit card was accepted -- the secretary rode to town with us to get cash from the ATM. With all that said, I would go back, knowing what I know now, but would not plan for food in the restaurant. I would plan for snacking type of food to keep me from starving while I roamed the grounds looking for wonderful photos. I shot over 500 landscape and flower shots in early spring. If you want to see stars, this is a great place as the outdoor lights can be turned off in certain areas and the stars are quite beautiful and bright. Sunrise and sunset were beautiful, as well. For children or elderly, several of the pathways are quite rough, and not all the lighting was available for us to return to our chalet. With improvements in checkout, menu, and pathways, I could raise my rating, and would gladly return.

Had my daughter's wedding reception. They started cleaning the saloon before the guests left, while they were still dancing. The owner has a very bad temper and yelled at my daughter because we asked for the return of the table decorations they had picked up while the dinner was going on. needles to say the candles were missing and the candle holders were wedding souveniers for our guests. Over priced!!! DO NOT ASK FOR JAM AND CHEESE sandwich, you will get BOLOGNA AND CHEESE! Check your bill before you pay, you may be overchaged! We were 38 grown ups and 3 kids, not enough towells!!! I had to get up at 3am to call a taxi for one of my guests who was leaving to the airport and then wake them up and make sure the taxi had arrived. No wake-up call. No service during the night!!!!

We have been here two times and both times one of our absolute favorite places to stay in the world... so calm, so beautiful, so much fun! You have to go to the beach late at night... just to walk around... or build a bonfire... so much fun.
