The location is just great. That's for sure already a plus. Reception is nice and friendly, right next to the reception the bar, with a limited menu but friendly, welcome service. Rooms are big enough, prices are good and the hotel is decorated nicely with a kind of "Soviet style" without being too obsessive. Did not tried breakfast - longer...

I love this hotel and its friendly staff. It is a shrine to Chagall-and better than some museums I've visited in this respect. There is also a very interesting photomontage of Lenin and events relating to the October Revolution. Rooms are lovely and breakfast is excellent. And the location couldn't be better--five minutes walk from most of the city centre...

Me and my husband were there for 4 days. Nice hotel. Artistically decorated. The receptionists were very friendly and cordial. They speak good English. The suites were large. The breakfast was good. Including some continental foods is much appreciated.

This is a nice hotel, especially for a somewhat remote area of Belarus. It is a nice building with a good look. The inside is simple, regional décor. Their version of a small town, Iowa hotel. I have also stayed at the Luchesa. I think the Luchesa had a better bed and better bathroom but the Eridan is much more...

There are not many places to stay in Vitebsk and you normally have a choice from three or four hotels. Hotel Eridan is one of the better accommodations. It's located in the city center down a pedestrianized street. There are several pubs and a couple of restaurants near the hotel. The hotel itself is a three storey building with a...

This hotel is situated close to the centre of Vitebsk, not for from the Marc Chagall Centre. We could park our car in the street. The hotel had lots of tasteful details, like pictures on the wall and the breakfast room had a "Paris"-theme. The staff is very friendly and the young woman at the reception spoke English very well....

Stayed one night in the suite on the top floor. Good: perfect location in the pedestrian part of town; interesting interior with old city photos and reproductions of Chagall paintings on the walls, vintage pieces of furniture, and household items from last century. Bad: no lift and steep stairs make all but impossible to haul heavy luggage up; had to...

The hotel is very nice, a bit old-fashioned, which is understandable, and in the walking area of the historical center. I liked it there a lot, as I could thoughtlessly walk around the city and come back pretty late. Everything is near, the personnel is affable and helpful, the room is cosy. Although next time I will opt out the...

Hotel Eridan despite being over 60 years old is clean and well maintained. The staff were all friendly and 2/3rds I met spoke some English. Which is good because my Russian isn't the best! It has the best location being in the old city part. I had a very basic room that only costs about $50 U.S.D. per night. The...

Spent 4 nights in this hotel 30.9.14 to 4.10.14. Situated in the beautiful old city part of Vitebsk and with an old world charm. Clean hotel with lots of ancient artefacts like wooden cameras, radios, record players at every nook and corner it s like entering a museum. The lovely girls at reception speaks perfect english but others only Russian....

“I had a basic room. It featured a single bed, refrigerator, t.v. and free wifi. Belarus is well off the tourist path. The people I met were friendly, kind and helpful. This hotel has no elevator and the rooms start on the 2nd floor. My room didn't have an air conditioner but some do. Keep that in mind if you will be visiting during the summer.”
