Victor, our host, was so welcoming and accommodating. We almost immediately found out that we had interests in common, and we had a great time discussing horses, music and photography, while waiting for my husband and son to arrive from out-of-state. The rooms were all beautifully furnished and so comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, generous and lovely, especially out in the new sunroom. Before leaving, my son and I even had time for a scenic walk around the property, while my husband had an engaging conversation with Victor. We felt right at home and highly recommend the Upland Inn for an overnight stay when you are in the area. We hope to be back someday ourselves, the next time our travels take us to this area!
Amber, Emily, Victor and Lynne were absolutely perfect hosts. Lovely stay with lovely people, would recommend to anyone. Any and every need was met quickly and with complete professionalism. Can't wait to visit and stay with them again.
Lovely overnight accommodation. Staying here to be near friends. Victor kindly invited our friends to join us the next day for breakfast. His Crepes are noteworthy! Wonderfully serene Inn. Just what we were looking for....
Victor and Lynn, the innkeepers, did a great job of making us feel comfortable during our stay. The accommodations are good, and the breakfast great. The two of them obviously enjoy hosting, and are willing to participate in a conversation about the area sites and restaurants, or anything else you want. A very enjoyable stay, and we would certainly stay again, and recommend it to anyone.
From the comfortable surroundings, beautiful landscape, friendly service and scrumptious breakfasts, the Uplands Inn provided a lovely atmosphere from which we were able to immerse ourselves into the local culture and neighbouring academia. Our hosts, Brian and Catherine demonstrated genuine warmth, character and passion for our comfort. We thoroughly enjoyed their company. Brian entertained us with his musical talents, cooked tantalizing breakfasts and embraced the opportunity to educate us about the area's historic and geographic distinctions.
I stayed here on a weekend off from my camp job and fell in love. The beds are so comfortable, the place is very homey, and breakfasts were delicious and very fresh. Our hosts were extremely generous and willing to help us find things to do in the area. There is not much around in the way of entertainment, but if you want quiet time away from everything, this place is perfect.
We stayed at the Uplands Inn in August, 2014. Victor and Lynn Rosansky were so welcoming and warm. Victor's breakfasts are fresh, filling, and varied. He took "orders" the night before and even allowed my children to help. We had two different rooms and both beds were very comfortable. One had an amazing tempurpedic mattress topper on it which made you feel like you were floating on air. The grounds are well maintained and lovely. If you go in the late summer, you can pick some blackberries in the backyard. The owners will help you with suggestions regarding local places to visit: Franklin Pierce's homestead, a blueberry farm, the local ice cream stand, or restaurant choices. The Rosanskys take such obvious pride in their home. We loved it so much, our intended one night stay turned into two.…
Stopped in at the Uplands Inn for a 3 day NASCAR race weekend. Our hosts were amazing people and basically handed over their house to us. Very comfortable and relaxed Inn with a quick access (3 miles away) to the highway. The girls went to Hampton Beach while the boys headed to the race track. Victor and his wife Lynn were very helpful with anything we needed and pointed us in the direction to a nice family restaurant in Antrim. The only concern for our group was that there isn't any air conditioning in the rooms otherwise no complaints. Excellent breakfasts as well. Love their cats.
Due to a wedding, 8 members of my family had a wonderful visit to Uplands Inn in Antrim, NH. The Inn is about 30 miles outside of Keene but definitely worth the trip. Lynn and Victor our hosts could not have been more welcoming. They made us feel more like family than guests. The Inn is a quaint 160 year old farm house with many comfortable rooms. The bathrooms are shared but everything from the large fluffy towels to the abundance of hot water made it a non issue. Breakfast was prepared by Victor with our itinerary in mind. The choices were healthy, plentiful and delicious. Coffee was made available for the early risers. This reasonably priced Bed and Breakfast is a great choice for a visit to New Hampshire.
