I recently spent a week on the Triple J Ranch with a friend. We had travelled from Ireland so it was a long way to go, but what a week. Worth every mile of travel. From day one we were made feel so welcome by Ernie & Kim and all the staff. The location scenery is amazing and just like... More

The JJJ Wilderness Ranch near Augusta MT is wonderful. The cabins and main lodge are beautiful and comfortable. The scenery is out-of-this-world! The food will rival any you have ever had. The best is the horses and the staff (wranglers) make this an amazing vacation. Although I did not bring small children, the children's program looked wonderful. The kids were... More

This was a return trip to the Triple J for us after visiting during the summer of 2014. I’m always nervous making a repeat vacation trip, especially after a great first experience. The Triple J Ranch proves that twice can be very nice, and we rediscovered all the things that drew us back to the Triple J and Montana. Kim... More

My first ever pack trip was back in 1996 with the Triple J and it was full of amazing sights, experiences, and people that I remember vividly to this day. It's what got me hooked on the Wilderness and this year I went back to the Triple J for my third pack trip with them. I went with family on... More

I have used this ranch twice for pack trips. I had planned on using it last Fall(2015), but due the forest fires my trip was cancelled. Ernie called me from the forest, which was on fire and explained why he had to cancel my trip the next week (9/2015), which I totally understood. I was very impressed that he took... More

I recently stayed a week at the triple J ranch and it one of the best trips ever. I went with three friends and the cabins were clean and well maintained. The food was awesome and the staff was outstanding. They were very accommodating with our requests and were very flexible. Ernie and Kim are fantastic owners and it is... More

I was fortunate enough to take my first pack trip with JJJ Wilderness Ranch and it was truly an unforgettable adventure! Ernie and Kim went the extra mile to make sure our every need was met. Jack knocked it out of the park with our meals each day--from a delicious hot breakfast before we set out, lunches that were packed... More

Definitely a 10! That’s how my daughter responded when asked about our horse pack trip into Montana’s Bob Marshall Wilderness with the Triple J Wilderness Ranch. The wilderness, the outfitter, and the magic combined to make this one of our most memorable experiences. If you are searching for a wilderness adventure that is remote, rugged, with spectacular vistas, you won’t... More

I was fortunate enough to join a pack trip with the JJJ through a last minute invitation to fill a vacancy of a guest who unfortunately had to cancel due to illness. I could not be happier with my decision to go on this trip. The JJJ Ranch is absolutely beautiful - their cabins are well thought out and very... More

This was my second trip to Triple J (2014 solo ranch vacation!), but my first pack trip! My boyfriend and I had the most incredible experience of our lives with Ernie, Kim and the rest of the Triple J crew on this unforgettable, life changing experience. We went in August to The Chinese Wall in the Bob Marshall Wilderness -... More

Thanks so much for your great review! You know we enjoyed both of you - and we also appreciate your kind words. It was great to teach Marc how to be a "mule skinner" and he learned so quickly! Hope are able to remember some of the memories when you get so busy with your job. Take care. More
