Great stay at the Lindenhof! The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. We especially loved the home baked treats left out during the day and the use of the hot tub outside. The breakfasts Kathy provided were chef level good, so delicious! Kathy was super friendly, had great recommendations, and a great host.

We stayed at the Lindenhof Bed and Breakfast in Augusta, Missouri, one weekend in early August to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. Kathy, the hostess, was very informative of local wineries, their hours of operation and food menus. Her property is beautiful, inside and outdoors. The house has been lovingly restored and offered a great deal of peace and comfort on a weekend when the weather was very hot. The breakfast on Sunday morning was outstanding! I am gluten free and she accommodated my special food needs without a fuss. Everyone at the B & B agreed that we needed to book a return trip.

This was my second stay at the Lindenhof B&B and I will definitely go back. Kathy is an exceptional hostess and an excellent chef! From the moment you walk through the front door, she makes you feel like you're home. I always enjoy sitting in the family room to read and relax. The backyard is beautiful with lots of plants and unique decor that Kathy has made. My room was tastefully decorated and the bed was so comfy. You can't go wrong if you choose to stay with Kathy at the Lindenhof B&B.

Our room with a private bathroom was large, clean, and comfortable, and the Artist theme was well done with decorations on the walls and literature in the room. The breakfast was hot out of the kitchen and filling and all of that is what you hope for in a B&B. The bonuses for us were Kathy's hospitality including availability at the right times while letting guests have a great sense of home. On top of all of that, the neighborhood was so peaceful we were able to sleep with the windows open and enjoy a completely quiet night of rest. We'll be back!

My wife and I have been traveling quite a bit in the last few months (making up for lost travel time because of Covid) and of all the place we stayed this was by far the nicest, coolest and most comfortable. Kathy, the owner, is a terrifichostess. From the moment we met on our arrival until we let the property she was nothing but gracious, interesting and accommodating. The inside of the house was something to see. From very clever decorating to cleanliness on a new level this place was something else. Then there was the outside. Again very comfortable and inviting, we only wished we could have stayed longer. I am sincere when I say that if you are ever in Augusta Missouri you MUST stay at the Lindenhof B&B on Walnut street. You will not be disappointed. Rick Weber

My husband and I stayed two nights. We enjoyed our visit with the innkeeper, Kathy, as well as other guests. Kathy prepared delicious breakfasts for us both mornings. We rode our bicycles from Augusta to Defiance and back.

Everything was as advertised and even better. The B&B was very quiet and comfortable and Kathy was wonderful. We had great access to the Katy Trail and a couple of wineries in town. We would definitely stay again!

We took bikes to ride on the Katy on a brutally hot week. The bright spot was our two night stay at the Lindenhof, a sweet older house that has been a B&B for many years. Our host Kathy was terrific. She set out everything we could possibly need. We stayed in the Artist Room upstairs which was nice and cool, and decorated with all kinds of artist themed books and décor. Kathy's breakfasts were superb. She was also flexible with breakfast time. Because of the weather, all of the guests appreciated an early breakfast time so we could go out before it got too hot. She had a shed to house the bikes, which she locked overnight. Right across the street is the Emporium mercantile shop. They sell all manner of things, and the wine tasting was fun and free. (Some wineries in town charge for tasting.) If we find ourselves back in Augusta, we would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here during the Memorial Day weekend. We stayed in the Artist room. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Ductless air conditioning in the room, so the temperature could be adjusted to whatever we wanted. Really cool big tub with jets. Very relaxing after a day of biking. We enjoyed time on the back patio with the other guests. Great breakfast, fresh blue berry pancakes and bacon. I am not a big pancake guy, but these were great. Kathy was very nice and extremely helpful. She left nut bread and cookies out for late night snacks. We will definitely come back. Can recommend this place without reservation.

After a three hour Katy Trail bike ride and being caught in the rain, we were well taken care of by Kathy. She had everything from a water hose for our bikes to hot coffee and treats for us (the oatmeal bites were especially good). Our rooms were lovely and the hot tub was the perfect end to the day. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and I appreciated her accommodating my dietary needs. Her location is perfect for catching the trolly to visit the local wineries.
