I visited the Carnoustie Golf Hotel for a two night mother/daughter break, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped, with views of the golf course. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful, and special mention must go to Bea'ta in the restaurant. Speaking of the restaurant, the evening meal we ate there was incredible....

Just returned from two nights stay at this hotel as part of a golfing trip. As the hotel is by this championship golf course we had a certain expectation of it - sadly we were very disappointed and will not go back. The corridor approaching our room was dusty and there was obvious building work going on - many of...

A bad experience from the start, a room for 2 lady pensioners at the far end of the hotel next to improvements being done and a drill going big time . Room rectified but grudged Went to dinner at 5 and at £27.50 a head on a so called cheap break it was unedible , . The menu makes your...

I stayed here for the night, I am a local to the area but decided as the hotel offered a great party package to stay the night. Whilst some of the people at the party night said they were not keen on the food I thoroughly enjoyed every morsel. My room was a large room overlooking the car park actually...

My boyfriend treated me to a night here for my birthday... We had dinner and the food was absolutely fantastic.. Breakfast was also brilliant. Staff are very attentive and very very helpful. Always smiling.. Spa was fantastic one of the best massages I've ever had. One thing lets this hotel down and it's simply cosmetic... Our room was very much...

Our room was 115 and w as excellent for watching gofers tee of and finish on the 18th green. Food as very good, no complaints at all,...

I stayed at this hotel as a birthday treat and was very pleased with my choice it is a gorgeous hotel right next to the water on the coast. The check in process was a bit delayed due to some errors made by the hotel but was sorted eventually. The room was a junior suite and it was fantastic, well...

Have just had an overnight as part of a family wedding, the wedding arrangements were good, the food and service very well coordinated, drink prices were what you would expect, however, the hotel is now looking very tired. Our room was poorly lit and the furniture was more 1915 than 2015, the bathroom was showing signs of being well past...

I was booked into this hotel for a business trip to the area. Having stayed in it many years ago I anticipated that perhaps it had gone 'downhill' a little (based on a couple of reviews I had read). I was pleased to find that by and large the hotel maintains a reasonable standard throughout although the dinner menu was...

We returned to this hotel after a few years and found it to be run-down, shabby and dull. Paintwork was peeling, furniture dated and the restaurant was in need of a make-over. Our evening meal was okay but very small portions, my liquor coffee came in a cup! Breakfast was a shambles, large queues, staff were unorganised with one waiter...
