A charming place right in the center. Go see the hidden museum in the basement. Room was like visiting in the palace. We didn’t want to leave. It’s clean and well kept.
Price was just right for the budget. Breakfast had wide variety including a fresh egg prepared by on the spot.

The hotel has a great location near the center.. the common areas are kept very well and also has 2 great restaurants, one on the rooftop where you can taste cocktails and eat great food and one open only on weekends offering more refined cuisine.
The only downside is the room, our bathroom really needed a renovation and the room is cute but very minimal.
In any case recommended for those who want to visit the center on foot!

This is an absolutely beautify hotel. Every corner is perfect for an Instagram picture. No wonder many couples choose this place to take their wedding pictures.
The service was excellent. No matter what you need, they will try their best to make it happen. Just ask. The owner was also on the property all the time to make sure the guests receive the best services.
Try the restaurant definitely. With the quality of the food and beautiful decor, I was surprised that it was not crowded. The fish fillet was the best I've had in Sucre.
I simply love this place!

The location of this gorgeous hotel is great as it is within walking distance to the main attractions in touch. The room is spacious and clean and the food here is nice. There is a mini museum in the basement of this hotel too.

Located in the heart of the old city center of Sucre, beautiful old buildings with several courtyards, terraces with some nice views over the city, a nice rooftop bar and a small spa with jacuzzi.

The rooms are charming but a bit outdated, you feel the dust of the old days… they need some renovation. For example the heating is not very good and it gets cold so you might need an extra heater and an extra cover. In the bathroom the hairdryer didn’t work.

Breakfast is taken in a nice room, but it is most of the time very chilly there. The food choice and quality are very average.

Staff is friendly and helpful. But be aware they are not very fast so sometimes you need to be patient.

Probably one of the better options in Sucre, but not on a five stars level. Hopefully they can improve these things as it has the potential.

We had a master suite which was huge! Everywhere is filled with paintings and antiques. The cellar restaurant is very grand with an excellent menu and wine list although wines are not priced. The roof top bar has wonderful views, lots of cocktails, good menu and service plus you can reserve a table here as well as in the formal restaurant. Staff were very helpful and laundry was returned on the day we put it in. Good hot and cold breakfast buffet. Just a couple of things: the bathroom could really do with modernising the shower, and oddly for a 5 star hotel there were no bathrobes, slippers or hair dryer. Maybe I could have asked for a hairdryer.

I will start by saying that the building is very beautiful and is in an area close to the main square, which makes it an attractive entrance. The thanks to Trip Advisor in the rating is more to the contributions read on this channel-
In some of them it was stated that the rooms had an unpleasant smell and that is indeed the case. And thanks to the notice we were able to maneuver quickly and have our room changed.
There are interior rooms, with small windows to the hallway and a musty smell. Others are very dark and small that have a window to a small light patio that allows you to see the inside of the neighbor's room.
In our case, the change request was successful and we were moved to a larger room with good views, somewhat cold but much better than the others.
Naturally, all this thanks to the kindness of the employees who are, by far, the best thing about the hotel. Always willing to help you and make you feel as comfortable as possible.
As for breakfast, it has live cooking, slow but it is, and enough for a breakfast. They replenish with a certain slowness but as in almost all of Bolivia, speed and agility are not one of their references.
They have a beautiful terrace on the roof with a bar that serves drinks and food. Very beautiful views and correct service

Stayed here as part of a tour group. It is a beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of the city with a rooftop terrace overlooking the city. Rooms look over courtyards and are nicely appointed. Wifi is available throughout the hotel and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is nice but ordering an omelet takes time.

Our room had issues: when you first entered the smell of chemicals is almost overwhelming. The door would only open with a key, the door handle just turned. The room was cold and we had to ask for extra blankets. Also the room was not noise proof, with people passing just outside the door were easily heard into the evening.

A very nicely appointed hotel but needs some improvements.

This is a charming property, akin to the classic hacienda. The public spaces are lovely. But the rooms need some updating. The mattresses sag, the closet had only four hangers for two people, the safe did not work, and the grout around the tiles in the bathroom had a lot of mildew. My biggest disappointment was that we had a room on the third floor direclty under the roof deck, where there is a bar. We had metal chairs up there scraping across the tile floors until 11 am. And a neighboring property has the thump-thump-thump of loud dance music going from about 6 pm to about 11 pm each night, which was clearly audible in the room. This is a nice property, and apparently the best in Sucre, but it needs some TLC.

The hotel interior, rooftop terrace, and basement rooms are beautiful and historic. Unfortunately, the rooms have issues.

The smell when you first enter the room is that of chemicals- such as insect spray. The bathroom continually smells of sewer, but the intensity waxes and wanes. My doorknob was broken and the door only worked by the key. My safe was locked so I couldn’t use it.

There was no way to heat or cool the room. My room was too hot. I could hear other guests talking until after midnight. My first morning the shower went from warm to completely cold while I had shampoo on my hair. To get hot water in the first place, I had to run the tap for nearly five minutes. In a city that is predicted to run out of water by 2050, this is criminal (install a hot water circulation system!).

There was no lotion provided and only two towels. The hot tubs were empty; I was told you needed to schedule them. I saw three cardio machines but no yoga mat/stretching area.

I did not sleep much; I couldn’t wait to leave.
