We booked the Cruise Tourist special which included transfers from the airport and to the pier, plus a Pisco Sour drink. We hoped for a worry-free pre-cruise visit especially since our Spanish skills are rudimentary -- pre-booking as much as possible seemed the way to go. This deal proved to be completely worry-free as we were met after the flight...

We had a great stay at this boutique hotel - it's really well furnished with modern decor and all the newest amenities. The room is a bit on the small side, but perfectly comfortable. The staff is professional and nice. The location can't be beat - there are no views of the sea, but it's along the canal, just across...

Traveling with a handicapped person can make hotels in countries other than the USA a bit of a challenge. Usually only the large chains have accessible rooms, and even they don´t have them in some cities, so we have learned to make do with what was at hand. Handicap Accessible: This hotel, while it wasn´t fully handicapped accessible (did not...

The room was very clean, the internet connection was enough fast in the room and I never had a problem with that. The breakfast was good, great location, only some meters from the big Casino and the ocean. I really...

Just back from a trip to Chile and Argentina. Stayed 6 nights at the Hotel Monterilla in Vina Del Mar. We had some contact with the hotel before we booked in and I must say that the staff we dealt with (especially Luis) were excellent-- very helpful and accommodating. When I checked in everyone was very friendly and welcoming, helping...

Let me say, WOW. My room has 2 old style heaters plus underfloor heating, making my stay in the hotel over the cold Chilean winter a worth while. Location wise it was very convenient to walk to the casino and Plaza Mexico, it was a short walk to the city's perdestrian mall as well as metro station. The hotel is...

Stayed at the Monterilla for two nights and it was generally good, but with some issues. The location was convenient near the casino and restaurants, the staff friendly and helpful, with a pleasant dining area and decent breakfast (but not a hot breakfast). On the downside, while it had been nicely remodeled a few years ago it's showing wear. The...

This is a nice hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great room (room 33) and it was cheerful, easy to get to and perfectly located. The breakfasts each morning were superb. My husband and I really liked Hotel Monterillo and we were sorry to go. Just a great place...great value and very accomodating!
