We really enjoyed our stay at The Rove Downtown over Xmas and found the location superb a mere 12 minutes walk from the Dubai Mall. This hotel has a self service concept( no porter service ) and luggage trolleys are supplied to get bags up to the room- Checking in early or late then lockers are supplied to store your bags. The hotel has a very nice pool with a good view of the Burj Khalipha, self service laundry ,internet facilities and free wifi,kids area ,supermarket and an inhouse cinema. Breakfast is served at Fridays and has a great spread . While rooms may be smaller than what I am used to in Dubai ,they were comfortable ,pleasant looking and bathrooms functional with shower and basic amenities. It was so convenient to walk to the Dubai Mall and we didnt have to use the stuttle which is provided .The Shuttle also makes stops at City Walk,La Mer beach and Madinat Jumeirah. The hotel is decorated with murals with a travel theme and has some fun slogans . Rated 3 star I would give it a good 4 star. Highly recommended for location as it has an awesome view of the Burj Khalipha and good for a stay over New Years Even to view the fireworks. Room rates are reasonable and I certainly will return .

I have stayed at ROVE a few times now, both with my partner, my son, and alone for business. The Hotel is medium priced but with "high priced" service. The service starts at check-in and continues through room staff, mini market, Fridays diner, pool etc. I was impressed with the covid precautions taken, temperature taking, glove and mask wearing, hand cleaning stations, and constant cleaning of things like pool beds and gym. I want to make a special shout-out to Younous on staff for whom nothing was too much trouble, and had many friendly chats over this past week. Others have told about the convenient location, within walking distance to many important, and scenic, locations. The mini-market and cinema onsite, gym, pool, meeting rooms, good wifi and multiple work stations for freelancers. Breakfast in Fridays had good choices, and even special requests were granted with smiling eyes (masks worn of course). What else can I say but I stay here every visit to Dubai, and usually end up extending my stays.....just like I did this time. Thanks ROVE

I must say the internal design on its own was exceptional , whether it was the rooms ( burj view or not) , the ground floor , the reception and they even had a floor where there is a gym, pool and some games you could enjoy and meet others which was very practical and trendy in a way
Special thanks to Robin ( front desk) : I had some trouble enjoying Dubai ( traveling for work) so he was nice enough to recommend and guide me through some places and sights to lift my spirits up . Ameer and Patricia from kitchen (Morning breakfast): honestly the whole kitchen staff was sooo heartwarming . I went out for brunch once but I preferred the service at the hotel's kitchen.
Ground floor : there is a convivence store (they have the essentials and even Starbucks) 24/7 , there is desks , tables and computers if you want to work .
Regarding COVID-19 safe measurements I must say hats down to the hotel cleaning staff , they were amazing I remember going out pretty late sometimes and still I come back with my room cleaned and every table or desk cleaned in the common area after someone leaves it ,they check for temperature strictly, everyone is wearing masks and the Front desk can guide you to the nearest and fastest hospitals to do your testing before leaving .
If your flight is late at night which was my case they have a place where you can put your luggage in which to be honest was convenient for me

The Hotel has a great welcoming atmosphere despite the Covid times we are experiencing and was always clean. The location is great, 5 minute walk to Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa. Superfast WiFi also!
I would like to mention a stand out employee from my initial stay.
Lali - the Lifeguard, everytime I would visit the pool he was always a happy/friendly and welcoming guy! I see how he would go above and beyond assisting people with the umbrellas and also on top of sanitising the beds and surfaces after every use.
I look forward to staying at the Rove Downtown again soon.

If you are looking to treat yourself and searching for a quality "me" time place, Rove Downtown is the definite place within budget.
Rica at the reception gave a real warm welcome and allowed me to check in real early! She anticipated my needs and asked proactively whether I needed some slippers and toiletries. Ram and Joy from housekeeping made sure I felt at home.
Rove Downtown exceeded my expectation by having its own cinema (for reel! real!) and food being served was from Friday's and definitely it was awesome!
Self-parking is available, check in and out was completed in minutes (didn't have to wait). Ambiance was perfect for people like me who loves to spend some time people-watching with my laptop :)
For the win, look at my photo, the view was perfect (Burj Khalifa).
This place never fails to amaze me! I'd definitely miss!

We stayed here for one night to break up a flight from Melbourne to London. We chose this hotel as a good value option in a good location. Lobby area was modern and Skandi inspired. Everywhere was fresh and clean. Reception staff very helpful. We arrived at about 6.00 am and decided to pay extra to check into our room early (only about £20). Guy on reception upgraded us to a room with a better view and gave us water too. Didn’t get his name but he was a 30 year old originally from Morocco. He couldn’t have been more helpful. One minor moan is that you can’t buy drinks round the pool and charge to your room. Guy at the little bar wanted cash and we hadn’t taken cash down to the pool, but no big deal. We had one major issue but it was handled so well by the Duty Manager (Eli) that what could have ruined our stay was smoothed over and handled very well - basically the interconnecting door to our room and the room next door was not locked and a random guy entered our room at 4.30 am!!! My husband jumped out of bed and then tried to check the room safe incase it had been broken into. In his panic he locked it with the wrong code and we couldn’t get into the safe. Reception staff were so apologetic and security came up to our room straight away to open safe. Eli was so sorry and offered us a complementary lunch, which was very kind. You often experience problems when traveling but it’s the way things are handled that make such a difference. Top marks to Rove. Great location for the Mall. We were there for such a short time and wanted to relax so didn’t get to experience much else. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

My wife and I were on a ten-week trip, taking in 11 different countries, and this was our final stop on the trip. The entire trip had been arranged through Trailfinders and our agent recommended the Rove Downtown based on what we told him we hoped to achieve in our time in Dubai. It turned out to be a great choice and ideal for our needs.
The hotel was perfectly located for us, as it was a short walk to the excellent Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa, both of which I will review separately. We also wanted to spend a day at Atlantis The Palm, or more specifically, the waterpark, and the cost of a taxi there was very reasonable.
Staff at Rove were excellent and could not have been more helpful, especially Jor-El. I’d describe the hotel as ‘quirky’ or ‘arty’ in style, which my wife and I both found refreshing. There is a TGI Friday attached to the hotel and that’s where breakfast was served each morning. As it was so handy, we also ate in there one evening and had a few drinks. There is also a 24-hour shop attached to the hotel, which was came in handy on more than one occasion.
The room was very nice and had a large, comfortable bed and there was a mini bar. There is a nice pool area with a small bar, where we liked to catch some late afternoon sun, and from it you can see the Burj Khalifa. I’ll attach some photos to this review to give an idea of the style of the hotel and the great location. I would definitely stay here again.

I want to thank the kind, friendly and helpful staff at the Rove Downtown. Each and every one of our stays has been awesome. They always exceed our expectations and we totally feel like home as soon as we walk in to the lobby. It’s always so nice to see their familiar faces and be greeted with so much joy. The breakfast buffet is by far one of the best ones ever, everyone is very kind and attentive, the food is super tasty, with so many options. We have been staying here for a couple of years now and it is our preferred stay in Dubai. This is where we bring our private groups, because we know they will too feel the same way. Special thanks to Ehab, Ibrahim, Youness, Ahmed, Naoual, they make us feel like family. We visit Dubai around 3-5 times per year from Mexico and the USA , and we like to say that they have everything you ask for, a nice restaurant, a small convenience store, Starbucks, a movie theater and an amazing location right across from the Dubai Mall with incredible views to the Burj Khalifa. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more. We haven’t left and can’t wait for our next time !

I stayed at Rove downtown for 5 nights and really enjoyed my stay as the rooms are modern and clean with an excellent sleep quality. Inside the hotel there is a TGI Friday's where the included breakfast was excellent in addition to a mini Starbucks and zoom supermarket that includes all what you would need during your stay. The modern lobby makes working a fun place and the location of the hotel in downtown in proximity to main landmarks is very convenient

I stayed here for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and were able to help with my typically tourist questions. The area is also very safe and I felt very comfortable walking around by myself at night. The room I stayed in was very clean and had a great view of the city. The bed was (for me) very comfortable to sleep on as well. I also enjoyed that it was just a 5 or 10 min walk to the Dubai mall, where you could eat, watch the shows or catch the metro. The Rove also has a free shuttle service to different tourist areas but they are timed so make sure you take note of the drop off/pick up times for each location.

All our rooms can accommodate 2 adults and one child (under 12), and we would ask for your passport at check-in for anyone staying in the hotel - this is a requirement set out by the authorities and needed in any hotel in Dubai :)
