The Hilton Garden Inn Dubai, Mall Avenue garners praise for its ideal location near the Mall of the Emirates and the spotless conditions maintained throughout the property. While the rooms are celebrated for their spaciousness and modern touches, there have been occasional mentions of maintenance and hygiene concerns.
Guests relish the varied breakfast and commend the hotel's atmosphere, but the pool's size and spa services sometimes fall short of expectations. Opinions on value and service quality vary, with some accolades for affordability and staff helpfulness contrasting with reports of slower service.

The service and staff, Joy in particular, was amazing. Though I brought a lot of luggage with me at arrival to check-in yesterday, The staff were so kind to help me to complete my checkin process. Hope to come back again soon!

Garden Inn is meant to be Hilton's mid-market brand but the Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Mall Of The Emirates can compete with many of Hilton's deluxe Conrad properties. In nearly 20 years of writing about the leisure industry I have certainly never come across a hotel operated by the main Hilton brand which hits the spot like this one.
Just a five minute walk from the sprawling Mall of the Emirates, the hotel is a haven of calm in the centre of one of the world's busiest cities. Rooms and suites are spacious, elegant and seem brand new. The decor has a Swedish air with an abundance of pine and furniture with soft beige tones.
Service is flawless. This is my first visit to the hotel and I have been here for just over a week on business which has led to me spending most of the days working in the room. It means that housekeeping can't come in at their usual time which would prevent the room from being serviced at most hotels. Not here. Reception have sent housekeeping to the room without fail whenever I've finished for the day and it has always been cleaned to the same standard regardless of the time.
It reflects the rest of the hotel which is spotlessly clean and has handy sanitizer stations throughout, even inside the elevator. Special mentions go to Mohamed and Menchie on the front desk for going the extra mile and ensuring that I haven't needed to change rooms when my stay has been extended. This kind of touch is what makes a stay memorable and is usually only the preserve of Hilton's upper tier brands.
The hotel's facilities are up there with many of Hilton's resorts as it is one of few Garden Inns to have a pool. Hard to find faults with the property. Breakfast officially finishes at 10:30, which is relatively early, especially in a country where people stay out late in the evening due to the searing heat during the day. However, the restaurant staff push the boat out and still serve guests until around 11.
The only feature missing from the rooms is a balcony but that's nit-picking. It's easy to do that as the hotel is of such a high standard. You have to keep reminding yourself that this is actually just a Garden Inn.

For those used to Hilton Garden Inn, this hotel is a step up. The facilities are nice and well maintained but the staff at this hotel is excellent. They are all very service oriented. During my eight-night stay, I did not run into a staff member that was terse or unhelpful. The desk personnel, the concierge and even the person cleaning my room was personable and responsive. Well-run hotel.
The location is great. It is about 300 meters from a metro station and the same distance from the Mall of the Emirates. The area seems very safe. If you need a cab, they are easy to get.
Everything in the hotel seemed to work well. The room was comfortable and clean.
I want to point out one additional thing. There is a very nice, heated salt-water pool here. If swim laps, it works pretty well. It is a bit hard to tell on the hotel's web site that it is heated.

We arrived far too early. Breakfast was still being served. I asked about a room being available anyway, and was asked to come back at 12. I was allowed to leave my bag in the lobby, where a security guard took care of it, and wandered off 5 minutes or so to the Mall of the Emirates, where we spent a couple of hours in the cool.
At 12.20 we got back to the hotel and they had got a room ready for us, despite check in being at 3. After an eight hour economy overnight flight, this was incredibly welcome and I am so grateful for this.
The room was large, a twin room had two large single beds, a huge desk, a really nice bathroom, a glass topped table and two easy chairs and a swivel chair if I were there for work. the room was bright, well lit, and cool. The view wasn't much to write home about, a view of a parking lot and the other hotels in the area, but that wasn't going to be an issue.
The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from two metro stations, Mashreq is probably a bit easier to get to, but Mall of The Emirates station can be got to by walking though the mall, which you can see from the hotel entrance, and would probably be a little nicer in the summer. There's a taxi rank right outside as well, and it was about 80AED from the airport.
Breakfast is copious, with variety for everyone. My son enjoyed making his own waffles, I was surprised to see bacon and sausages, the bacon was made of turkey and the sausages of beef, there's an egg station, and there were patisseries, fruit and salads as well. The breakfast room was bright and airy and we had no problem getting a seat or getting food.
On the first night, we were brought slippers, and later on a welcome letter from the manager with a plate of fruit, which we enjoyed. We had a fridge in the room and could store food there from the shop across the road, which made the stay a little cheaper.
Sleep was faultless, the beds were comfy and the room quiet. The room was serviced daily.
The pool was very nice, although we only went during the evening as a way of relaxing after a busy day, in February this was getting a bit chilly. I don't know what it was like during the day, but after 6pm we had the place pretty much to ourselves.
The neighbourhood is fine, the mall is very nearby and the Metro takes you elsewhere. There are a couple of restaurants on the street which we didn't try but might do if we go back.
It's certainly a decent location if you're looking for decent digs without wanting to spend the earth and I'd certainly consider going back.

I am in the middle of a 10 night stay at Hilton Garden Inn Mall of Emirates and I love it here. I have a really quiet room on the 6th floor,I had originally booked a room with a king-size bed not realising that these rooms have a walk in shower. I requested a room with a bathtub and I happily accepted the fact that these rooms have two single beds. The rooms are clean, comfortable with soft, warm lighting. Housekeeping staff are amazing and in the time I have been here I have noticed that they work tirelessly in order to prepare the rooms for guests. I have so far bought breakfast three times;once in the restaurant and twice via room service, the choices are good and the food is varied/plentiful. The music in the restaurant at breakfast is unnecessarily loud so if this is not how you choose to start your day, it is better to opt for room service. The location of the hotel is amazing, it takes about 6 minutes to walk to Mall of Emirates. On the same road as the hotel there is a very good supermarket,a pharmacy and small food outlets. There is a shawarma restaurant opposite the hotel with great tasty food. I sat by the pool but I did not swim as the sun tends to disappear in the afternoon. I will definitely return to the hotel on further visits to Dubai. Thank you so much to all members of staff for working so hard to ensure customer satisfaction.

Visited in July with my Daughter great check in service by the receptionist. Visited just as the lockdown was being eased. Felt safe. Room was cleaned to a good standard on a daily basis could not fault the housekeeping. Made use of the swimming pool as well and again felt safe and clean. Another amazing stay - thank you

After an overnight flight from the UK, we were delighted that we were able to check in on arrival mid morning. Staff were friendly and helpful and after the kettle was changed were able to have a decent cup of tea. Room was quiet and of a reasonable size with king size bed, tv, fridge, lock box, tea/coffee making and complimentary water each day and WiFi.
Bathroom had a walk in shower, plenty of towels and all accoutrements with plenty of space.
Breakfast was average, with the hot food rather tepid and bland.
Pool was ok but due to being on the first floor with the hotel on 3 sides it was in the shade.
Hotel is positioned within walking distance of the Mall of the Emirates and between 2 Metro stations, with plentiful taxi’s outside.

This property was highly recommended to me but didn't really understand why until I stayed. The team is extraordinary. My first interaction was with Miss Fatima and she was fantastic. I later dealt with Miss Niveen who was so kind and considerate.
My son was unwell during our stay and those were certainly difficult times for us and the team was fantastic.
The chef was accommodating, trying to make dishes that my son might enjoy. Dimas has been friendly as well as the whole in room dining team.
The hotel is a small property that is well located for the airport, the mall and numerous activities in Dubai.
Conveniently there are also free laundry facilities across the pool but this does need some type of monitoring.
There is a microwave behind reception for guests to use.
The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Being Diamond with Hilton for a while, I believe that my opinion between the hotels in the group are valid. And after living in different hotels for past two years in different parts of the world it's the people that make the hotel. As soon as you walk in you know if you are being treated as family irrespective of how much the Tarif is, and Hilton Garden MOE are FAMILY. Management has done well in hiring the right people and believe me there is a true smile behind the mask, it's true that there is no I in team and the team there are a standout. Not able to mention all all but you should say hi to these few and they will give you extra care. Reception especially Mohammad as well as Rehab and Amir, Noel at security. Special thanks to Ezra from Uganda that works so hard to keep things tidy, the restaurant staff from Awwal that will make you something a little extra, Aman who is really aware of how to treat guests properly, extremely friendly and a true professional. Vanessa, Arlene, Joy and the ever smiling Ricardo and Srikanth.
These people have made my stay great and deserve to be mentioned
As for the location, close to two metro stops, pool is well maintained and I am particularly sensitive to things being clean. It's not because it's a newer property, they really keep the hotel clean. Breakfasts are excellent, there is a bar but needs more selection of draft beers and wine, atmosphere is good. Room size is larger than normal with oversized windows for plenty of natural light. Not talking about the gym as not much time spent there. Laundry with washer and dryer was clean and plenty of off street parking. Abundance of restaurants close by with plenty of delivery options.
Great hotel, great people and a great experience.

+1
Usually I stay at Sheraton Mall of Emirates when in Dubai. Having been to Dubai many times decided I had enough local knowledge to save myself a tidy sum and stay in one of the numerous surrounding Al Barsha hotels. Hilton Garden Inn is superb. Less than 5 mins walk from Mall of Emirates. Clean, friendly and very comfortable. Large, Spacious rooms. Nice bathroom, gym and swimming pool. Very well maintained overall. Excellent value for money and will definitely be staying here again. There are lots of convenience stores like Carrefour and Choitrams in the immediate vicinity as well as lots of excellent restaurants and everything you could conceivably need e.g. dry cleaners, pharmacies, coffee shops etc open until very late or 24/7. Lots of other hotels and the MoE and Mashreq metro stations are close by.

Yes it does. Check with reception on timings (i believe it runs every 3 or 4 hours, and reserve your seats).
Yes they provide it in the rooms.
I am silver tier member and as such I could get discounts, but I had prepaid for my whole stay, so there wasn’t any other special treatment for us during our stay. So I think the special treatment for breakfasts in Hilton Garden Inn is about their prices rather then extras, independent of the tier status.
