The Hilton Garden Inn Dubai Al Mina presents a polarizing stay; guests commend its cleanliness and the relaxing vibe of the restaurant and pool area, yet opinions on rooms are divided—some applaud their modern comfort, others find them cramped and lackluster. The location earns both praise for convenience and criticism for its distance from central hubs. Amenities are generally well-received, especially the food, but additional fees can be a sour point.
Service quality varies, with reports of both commendable and disappointing encounters. Overall, the hotel's value proposition receives a mixed reception.

To put it simply, I would not stay at this place again.
Really unfortunate as the customer service from the restaurant staff and a select few from the front office was outstanding.
Although the following issues were a real let down.
For 4 consecutive days we were left with no bath towels / hand towels after the room was cleaned.
Only after complaining did they arrive and usually after 8-9 pm.
We also came to know that housekeeping was re using the same towels we had thrown on the floor for cleaning and simply just re folding and placing them back.
We only came to know after one of the towels had makeup still on it.Not sure how many days this had been occurring although still feeling sick of the thought of using used towels from the floor after bathing.
The shower pressure was also fluctuating from high pressures to trickles and from hot to cold which was very frustrating to have a decent shower.
The internet kept dropping out so most of the time we had to rely on my mobile service.
Toilet seat was not aligned.
Also, just an observation, Housekeeping would clean each room within 10 -15 min
how is that possible whilst maintaining a high level of service and cleanliness?

We booked 4 nights with our Hilton Honors 100000 points- Dont waste your points , the rooms are cheaper online.
For the points all we got is the room and additional tax of $90/- No Breakfast. The Central Reservation Agents was courteous and put in a complimentary breakfast for all 4 days.
To our surprise, when we checked in Anna the front desk Rep said she will have to check with her Superior if they can comp the breakfast. It took approx 4 hours , a lot of back and forth with a little heated communication , 1 am when Calvin called our room and said they would like to extend the breakfast for all four days. Not at all pleasant welcome.!
I do need to give a shout out for the welcome cake with Happy Anniversary that was in our room and the beautiful towel arrangement by Viran - housekeeping.
Chanaka was very helpful in hailing a taxi for us everytime we needed one.
The rooms were pretty dated and dirty.
The Hotel Manager could use some customer service training.

I am from India and selected this Hotel basis the Name. However I was surprised that this was not even proper 2star hotel. Some of my observations:
Hotel is located at Al mina road, where you won't find in any restaurant in walking distance.
Rooms are comparatively small and more suitable for solo business trips
They don't have hair dryer in Washroom, this can be asked basis requirement however they don't have power point washroom to connect
Washrooms have problem in water flow which keeps fluctuating
You will strictly get two half liter water bottle even if you are travelling with your kid
Breakfast spread is average, if you are vegetarian then you will only one or two options
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is travelling with family.

Just checked out after 2 nights at this hotel. We picked it for the closeness to the port as we’re going on a cruise today. It is close, you can see our ship from the hotel!
It was dark when we arrived and very quiet but the next morning we woke up to construction work on 3 sides of the hotel, it starts at 7.30 and carries on all day! Didn’t bother us too much as we’ve been out exploring but decided to have a quiet couple of hours by the pool today before we leave. Quiet is impossible, constant construction noise!
Staff at hotel are all very pleasant, especially breakfast staff.
Rooms are nice with comfy beds and good air con but the carpet in ours was filthy. Covered in loads of stains and felt sticky if walked on with bare feet, yuk!
Rooftop pool is nice, comfortable chairs and pool attendant there to give out towels, just wish it was a bit quieter!
Bar area was mostly empty, we realised why when we paid £20 for 2 draft Heineken’s, needless to say we weren’t frequent visitors. Service in there was awful, one person doing all drinks for bar and restaurant!
We only went in the restaurant for breakfast and had mixed feelings, very mixed selection, my husband enjoyed the curry for breakfast I did not!
Evening buffets looked okay and were very busy, not for us though!
Nothing whatsoever to walk to except a petrol station with a decently stocked shop next door.
On check out we had to haul all of our luggage up to the pool with us, they have no secure luggage storage area or room, they just leave them in reception, not good enough!
We’re coming back to Dubai in a few weeks, we’ve booked a different hotel which I think was a good idea! Good for the port at this one but not much else!

Location is good, taxis are available, food is also OK. Mostly International variety but not much Indian food. Breakfast was good.
Staff was good and cooperative.
Rooms are smaller considering a Family of 4.
Not sufficient space in Washroom, toilet seat somehow fitted on the corner with not sufficient space.
Corridor carpet was smelling.
There was surprise mandatory charges (AED 300 per person) for New Year Gala Dinner on top of my booking (not much variety of Indian food) and then further extra charges for New Year Party DJ

I love this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The dining staff were accommodating and had really good recommendations. The cleaning staff was top notch. Dilshan cleaned our room everyday while we were here and as the days went by he was more and more helpful and creative. After the first time I asked him for face towels, he made sure there were always fresh ones available and even went so far as to make pretty swans with them. He also made sure we had enough water for the both of us. The service staff by the pool were friendly and fun. The DJ took our request and shared some of his own with us. The bartenders and servers ensured we enjoyed ourselves with great food and drinks and amazing service. I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Hilton staff for an amazing experience and stay.
And a special thank you to Dilshan for making our room feel like home for the 2 weeks we were here.

We stayed here 3 nights in February as our honeymoon’s final stop. We probably got one of the smallest rooms although we let them know up front this was a special occasion. We got a slice of raspberry cake in compensation that said congratulations - I had to throw away because it was spoiled. I had to ask 3 times for a power converter to finally get one - until that, we had to have the TV running all night to get our phones charged, which is you can imagine more than an inconvenience in getting a good night’s sleep. The AC’s control panel on the wall lights up at random times during the night, also to the detriment of your sleep.
The last day we asked for an early breakfast at 5:15 AM as the taxi was scheduled at 6:00 AM, although the trainee at the reception literally tried to haggle with me for few mins to get the breakfast instead at 5:50 AM, 5:40 AM, 5:30 AM after which she gave up and penned down our request for a 5:15 AM breakfast.
The room was clean and the breakfast here is great, but I’d urge the hotel management to get the other things right.

We stayed for 4 nights in the king room, 2 adults and one child.
Overall it was a decent value for money. The room was relatively inexpensive. We are gold members so breakfast was included. Breakfast was great, morning restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.
The rooms were quite small. We had a king size single room, we thought it was small. Carpet was stained, bathroom needed renos. We asked a couple times about an upgrade since we’re gold members, but didn’t get one. Not sure how housekeeping was as we opted to not have our room cleaned during our stay.
There’s laundry machines on floor 1 (smoking floor), I was annoyed at this, they should have had it in a non smoking area.
Taxis were ridiculous. We ask front desk to call taxis a couple times. Each time their metre had a different starting rate including 5,8 and 12 AED. Not sure if this was due to the time/businesspeople of it was drivers setting their own rates… seemed like a scam to me. Probably not the hotels fault though.
We ordered room service one day, margarita pizza. I wish I asked to confirm, but I’m almost certain they served us a frozen box pizza, it tasted exactly like one. And I believe it was 49 AED.
Front desk staff overall were nice and helpful most of the time.

Having stayed in many Hiltons around the world, I can honestly say that I have never been made to feel so welcome as in this hotel. Staff were extremely attentive to our needs and a special mention should go to the restaurant staff who work for breakfast shift. Outstanding!
Our room was spotless too.
