A nice hotel with friendly staff. The quality of service is really good. Had a fun and relaxing time there. Hope to go back there soon. I highly recommend this place especially for family vacations. Good one!
We only had two nights at this amazing hotel. The staff is super friendly. Room The rooms are huge with floor to window ceilings and amazing views of downtown. You can see the Burj Khalifa from the room. We took the shuttle to and from the mall which was really easy and convenient. It’s a really good location and near to La Mer beach as well. Pool The pool area is really nice and there are lounge chairs and umbrellas. The pool is a really great temperature and isn’t too deep. It was really nice to go and cool off. We didn’t have a chance to but we heard there are some events and specials for meals on the rooftop pool. Breakfast I can’t say enough good things about the breakfast and the staff in the morning. They’re all so friendly and make sure that you are taken care of. The food was delicious and there’s even an omelet bar. I 10/10 recommend coming to stay here. Lalit really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He even made us up a little surprise going away gift. We were so sad to leave. Will for sure stay here again if we are back in Dubai. Thank you Hilton Garden Inn!!! :))))))…
This is my second stay in this hotel and was hoping it will be as smooth and comfortable as the first one, I was completely wrong. Check-in process was fine and the usual formalities was done. Upon arriving in my room, the door was fully open. I was alarmed and immediately informed the front desk Jessica was very helpful and updated me from the information she gathered from the concerned departments. But still this is one major mistake to leave the door open even though the room was prepared for the next guest. Stayed in my room the whole night and had a quick chat with the night receptionist regarding visitor policy at the same time I requested for late check-out which he confirmed given I am a Diamond Loyal member of Hilton Honors. The breakfast that they offer is basic, decent and not much selection as compared to the other Hilton properties I've stayed (Waldorf Astoria, Conrad etc) given as it is a midscale hotel. After breakfast, I needed to catch more sleep as I am due to travel the same day, I woke up around 11:25am from a call in the front desk asking what time I am checking-out, informed them that I was confirmed a late check-out from their colleague in the night shift and they said it is fine. After couple of hours I was again woken up by phone call and a knock on the door to confirm the check-out, by this time I am already upset from the lack of communication from the staff. I spoke to Arban Balyn and he was very rude during the conversation and did allow me to speak. He just wanted me to leave the room as is it due time, and I asked him directly "do you want me to leave" immediately the answer was "Yes" without any hesitation. I felt like I was an inconvenience to him and me being a loyal Hilton Diamond member was disrespected completely. Upon checking-out I was greeted by a lady (without name badge) and I was expecting an apology regarding the rudeness, disrespect and lack of decency from her colleague, but she said nothing and just simply asked "do you want a receipt" This was the point that I knew that they didnt care of the issue that occurred and do not want to deal with such problems. I have sent a formal complaint from Hilton Honor regarding the concern individuals and I will ensure that will not be back in this hotel because of impolite staff. I recommend elsewhere as there are far better options with better customer service and treatment are way better.…
This hotel was comfortable and offered everything we needed for a short stay. Staff were friendly, and everything was clean. The location is not very central but it was conveniently near the port. The breakfast was of good quality, and I would stay again.
The staff should be more friendly. Usually, I like the Hilton Garden Inn since they offer a good quality stay with a reasonable rate. But it is note the case of this hotel. That´s why I moved to another hotel.
This is really a great restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food buffet with a variety of favourable tastes that splashes in your mouth the joy of eating especially if you share it with friends. A huge thank you goes to the friendly staff who made our experience so enjoyable.Shan Bhandari the supervisor and Lea Mae Dal were so helpful and professional. Highly recommended.
Great staff, good location and good value for the money. The employees will go above and beyond to help you and make your stay more pleasant. Very friendly staff. Good restaurant and free parking.......
If this is indeed a 4-star hotel on paper, in reality it feels more of a middle-of-the-road 3-star one. The area is nothing special (nothing around it walking distance, really), but it’s close to La Mer Beach (very nice), Jumeirah 1, and City Walk (super nice area for eating out and shopping). There’s a lovely strip of posh restaurants called “Wasl 51” 5 mins by car. We stayed 10 nights. The hotel and rooms are tired, with a 90s look. The room was clean but the carpet had lots of stains and honestly should be deep cleaned or replaced at this point. Breakfast was good, with a few options for fruit. Some salad as well. Being vegan we tried only about 20% of the menu, but the classic options were definitely there. There was almost always some kind of bread, rice and curry, which was always very well made. Would have been nice to see allergens next to the food labels, though. There is a pool but right across the street there’s a huge building site, so the noise is unliveable when you’re up there (not the hotel’s fault, I know, but the view is horrendous and there is no peace) There is no metro station walking distance. Taxis are cheap (£2.50 to the closest station) Local buses stop nearby but their schedule is very unreliable. The staff at breakfast were helpful. They got us soya milk for most days we were there. The service was quite slow, though. At Reception, it felt like it was everyone’s first week at the job. Not welcoming, unable to answer anything quickly other than shuttle times. Same with the concierge guy. Always on his phone, walking around the lobby. Never a “hello” from anyone unless we made eye contact first and said so first. It’s just nice to feel welcomed sometimes, no? The worst was the staff at the Pool. I never saw them do anything other than consistently talking to each other (there were often 3 during the day) or being completely immersed in their mobile. No hello, eye contact, acknowledging you’re there, just nothing. One exception: The breakfast cook who was awesome! The problem lies on poor management. Employees were normally nice when approached, but the customer service vibe is very lacking. No option was given to keep the same towels, and no reward for skipping housekeeping for the day. Most hotels offer this by now. All in all, I would not go back. Ultimately, the experience I had is reflected on the price —it’s not an expensive hotel (and it shouldn’t be) and that’s what you get.…
I've stayed here for at least 5 or 6 years, for conferences and meetings, but also for quick holiday trips. Mainly because I always enjoyed the ideal location, the very comfortable rooms, the magnificent views from the roof pool, and the always very courteous and professional staff. It certainly isn't the hotel's fault that there's a hirise being build on every free space around the building and that there is a permanent VERY LOUD 24/7/365 noise pollution from the construction sites just a mere 15-20 meters away. But I dislike the fact that many of the good staff are gone, that the hotel's cuisine mainly caters for Indian clients, and that no English language channels are available anymore. Also, upon move in, I detected critical issues which housekeeping failed to identify, such as an inoperable safe or that there's only boiling water in the shower. Did I mention that the toilet's butt shower also leaked? Anyhow, it's time to move one, there are literally hundreds of orther hotels only in Dubai and I'm sure I'll find a new home. Maybe the Hyatt next door? P. S. Don't trust the pictures, they are like 7 or 8 years old, when the Hotel was brand new and a stand alone building with no other buildings around it …
Excellent service, good location, very helpful staff, specially Pawan and Chanak i spoke during my stay and they were really helpful every time. Also used the restaurant for brake-fast and food was good there. Had a dinner there one evening and Sweta was really attentive.
