Highlights: - Lots of space (3 bedrooms, big living room area, spacious kitchen, laundry room) and relatively good value especially vs hotels - perfect for families - Floor to ceiling glass windows across all rooms provide great views especially from higher floors (we were on 42nd level) - most other aparthotels in JBR only have smaller windows or balcony access - Good location very close (10min walk) to the main JBR beach areas - Daily service / cleaning is nice vs other aparthotels only providing 2x per week full service - Has all the conveniences of a hotel with comprehensive room service menu (incl Wagamama which has nice options) - Lots of elevators which means no waiting as not as busy as e.g. Hilton aparthotel (especially with social distancing during covid) Area to improve: - Feels a bit dated in terms of furnishings and especially bathrooms which could use renovation / full repair / clean of tiles and grouting, etc - There are some tall buildings coming up in front which block views and will do so even more in the future once complete (e.g. Rixos hotel towers in front and very big constructions site where a new tower will be built in view of the main beach area) - currently only has foundation so wasn’t much noise or disturbance but assume this construction will pick up later in 2021 - The small mall between the towers seems a bit odd as pretty empty so that could probably be redeveloped or refreshed somehow - Some of the tables with glass tops have extremely sharp corners so bring rubber corners if you have small kids (or order from local Amazon which is what we did) - WiFi speed wasn’t great at times and the gym does not seem to have any WiFi …
Small lobby but very elegant. The room and the view is amazing. rooms are super cleaned and smells good however bit tired looking .I guess they will take care of this later after pendamic. We went out for breakfast . When we came back the room was cleaned and and happy birthday message was created on the bed by cleaning team for my daughter as surprise . She was very happy. Thank you very much for all for making stay memorable ❤
We have stayed at this hotel every December for the past 4 years . We loved this hotel due to the location and space the apartments have for our family . However I would not stay here again . It’s definitely not 5 star anymore, more of a 3 star . The rooms have become dated with old furniture, the towels look shabby and have threads hanging from them and the house keeping was not up to the usual standard . We had to phone reception everyday for 3 days to resolve various issues in our apartment- faulty safe , faulty TV , faulty kettle . These issues were eventually addressed but not a great start to a holiday ! Sorry JA Oasis Beach Tower but we will not be staying again .
My family and I are regular travellers - the general staff at this hotel are all polite and helpful. We booked & paid for a premier room (after the COVID outbreak) only upon our arrival were we told the the premier benefits including the lounge (meaning breakfast, snacks & drinks until 7pm) is closed and has been for some time!!! As an alternative the hotel offered us a choice of one snack per day from a choice of 3...oh and you are allowed 1 drink...the premier room rate is extra and includes ‘additional premium club benefits’ this is not true, we did not receive any of the published additional benefits - at the time of this review the hotel is still marketing the additional paid for benefits of the premier room rate, knowing they are not available (screen shots attached). The property were not interested in dealing with our complaint and failed to acknowledge that are falsely advertising (and charging people for) benefits that do not exist - just a reminder, we booked after the COVID 19 outbreak. We contacted our travel agent about this as per instruction from the property and then received emails stating that the property had told them that we are happy and that our complaint was all sorted out now - which was totally not true! In the end my family and I decided to move hotels at our expense and take it up with the travel agent upon our return to the UK. There are plenty of properties in the JBR area and the others I have stayed at were much better. Sadly, I could not recommend this property.…
