This is our third time here - lovely hotel and the amenities are good. Drinks are expensive so make use of their happy hours which are really competitive compared to other hotels. It was both of our birthdays whilst at the hotel and we both got cakes and cards plus amazing towel art and balloons off our room stewards!! Our room steward was called Abhishek and did a brilliant job looking after our room -as did his colleagues too.

Hotel's Favorite
We have just returned from a fantastic family stay at the Waldorf Astoria, Dubai Palm and I must stay it was a stay second to none. The property is located perfectly on the Palm with breathtaking views of the Palm on one side and the gulf on the other. Priyanka from the Reception was one of the warmest, nicest and most genuine team member we came across during our stay, as she knew exactly how to connect with people from all ages. She is a true gem and an asset to any organization. Thank you very much for looking after us. We truly appreciate the hospitality. We enjoyed the leisure facilities by the pool and beach and must appreciate Harshad and Deepak for sweating it out and yet being so polite, humble and helpful. The accommodation was fantastic and the hotel has been maintained extremely well to great taste. The breakfast was lavish and we were assisted by yet another fantastic team member, Sam who went out of her way to check on us every now and then and my kids who are not the best of eaters. The kids club attend, Joshua took care of our angels and gave us an opportunity to spend some quality time together. This hotel has the rare combination of a fantastic product and warm team members who provide genuine service even through their masks. We have thoroughly enjoyed our little break away from the daily mundane routine and would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you once again team Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm and we will definitely find an excuse to return hopefully very soon.

We are still on a 11 night holiday at this luxurious hotel, the hospitality has been exceptional from arriving the reception staff and the restaurants staff could not do enough for us. The hotel is immaculate credit to all cleaning staff. We visited the family pool most days and although all the staff are polite and attentive we have to give Borzo a special mention he recognised us as soon as we arrived at the pool and brought us clean towels and fresh water throughout the day, nothing was to much trouble for him especially in the 40 degree heat, he is certainly an asset to the Waldorf Astoria. Hopefully we’ll return to this lovely hotel in the near future.

I spent 8/9 nights in the Waldorf Astoria Dubai. I haven't given this hotel a high rating as it is marketed as a Waldorf and based on the overall customer service experience it certainly isn't that standard. I have stayed in a number of 5 star UAE hotels and this one does not compare. I'll start with good aspects... Positives: The hotel is clean and house-keeping (Jane, Andreas, Vin) all provided good service by keeping the room tidy and topped-up with all our requirements. LAO - our experience in LAO was one of the high-lights although we left it to the last night to go there. LAO team are the high-light of this hotel aswell as the food. GYM - the gym is clean and big and used it twice. Good view over-looking the Burj Al Arab. There is also a tennis court. Beach - is quite expansive and there was always space for sun bed selection. Water is provided and table service. Palm happy hour 4-6. Serrafina - nice cock-tail bar and again friendly experience in general. Happy hour 7-9. Negatives: Location - the hotel is on the West Crescent of the Palm and quite far round. You have to spend about 15 mins in a taxi to get off the palm which is pointless travel time. In terms of location there are hotels at the top intersection of the Palm that are aligned such as the Fairmont, St Regis (opposite) the Nakheell Mall where you don't have that faff. If you are unlikely to travel into the city then its ok. Same issye for all Palm hotels. Atmosphere - the hotel atmosphere is a bit sombre and sterile. There is very little buzz. We went to the Jumeirah Beach Hotel for a tour of the Burj and the greeting and buzz bears no comparison. Service - the service in this hotel is odd and inconsistent. There is no visible management. Sometimes you'll get a friendly greeting and then be completely ignored. Not sure the staff are either trained or motivated to provide first class/5 star service. Its patchy at best. Appreciate that it gets busy and I don't want to be bothered 24/7 but an acknowledgement/greeting works fine to! Dining - one of the main issues with this hotel is the way it is set-up and dining facilities. LAO is the exception to the rule (see above). The main dining area is called Mezzerie (aka Misery). You have buffet breakfast here and then the half-board options are generally here where they have themed nights. Most hotels have outlets but this hotel is limited. The food gets a bit boring and the self-service aspect is not really why you go on holiday. On top of that we both got upset stomachs. With a hundred guests and staff handling utensils its odd in the Covid era that buffet is the best this 5 star hotel has for HB guests. Vegetarian food is bundled in with meat products aswell. You do get a limited free drink each for HB Premium. Although water is generally available in your room, pool, breakfast etc. If you want water at dinner its 38 AED (around £10 GBP). Quite shocking although probably common practice. On one night I had to leave early from dinner to meet a friend in the city and my wife was hassled 3 or 4 times about the bill even though the consideration was zero on HB. Not sure what they thought we were attempting?? I probably should have dealt with this with the management!! Sort of exemplified the service experience here not great! Palm - restaurant by the pool was pretty standard fair but well cooked and served to you. Staff here were ok. Even with HB and having a couple of salads and mains the bill was quite high as there is no set HB menu. Its bar food and around £200 GBP for 2 people! Less credit of 350 AED. Nothing to shout about and food you get in most basic restaurants/bars/pubbs. LAO - very good and there is a HB menu. Just need to pay drinks on top. Social - didn't go as was quite pricey and didn't like the menu. Breakfast - buffet breakfast was fine and there is an egg station. Most things available. Ask for take-away coffees at end of your meal. In summary, the dining experience here is poor considering its a resort hotel, not near anything. They need more outlets and more HB options. Staff also need better training in Mezzerie. Layout - the hotel layout is not maximised properly in my view. They have a club lounge (Pearl) but that would be better utilised as a bar or restaurant. Above that there is a presidential suite which could be used as a facility. I just thought that there is plenty of space but the outlets are so limited for a resort hotel. Check-in/Check-out - Check-in they tried to upsell a different room at 200 AED a night. At 1 am I didn't particularly appreciate the sales pitch. Check-out was fine and we were sent off by an affable young gentleman. Wifi - on the beach didn't work. I believe you could pay for a premium option!! In summary when I am paying £300 plus GBP a night I expect consistent standards in customer service and good dining experiences. It was lacking in this establishment I am afraid to say. For a Waldorf my rating reflects what it is represented to be but clearly is not. Trading off the name to a large extent. An average hotel stay and experience easily forgotten. There are much better options in Dubai for sure.

I just returned home from an 18 night stay at this hotel and for the first time on my travels I truly felt quite emotional having to leave The location is stunning as is the hotel. A luxury feel with a cool vibe of people of all ages. The service recieved was some of the best in the world I have experienced. I could not commend all departments enough. Absolute amazing brand ambassadors all of them, with incredible passion and customer service skills. I ate mainly in the buffett restaurant where the food was simply beautiful. Again laid out with care and detail, and catered for all tastes. Home made pastries and fresh muffins was sure to put a few pounds on but worth every bite! Chefs were excellent as were all staff in the morning and evening. The Room was a suite on the second floor 276 and looked out from the huge balcony straight at the Burj al arab and Burj Khalifa just wow! As well as some of the best sunsets and sunrises I ever witnessed. Impeccable housekeeping standards in my room by charles And nothing too much trouble. There are 2 pools one is adult only. Both are amazing and again so is the service...water a plenty, and complimentary. Lovely ice lollies and cooling flannels. The beach is idyllic and the views across the gulf are quite incredible. Clean and again service exemplary. beautifully kept gardens and amazing water features. I also ate in Park avenue the pool side restaurant and food was delicious and yes again service amazing. I had afternoon tea with my sister who visited me before I left in peacock alley on the ground floor and that again was just lovely and beautifully served. The hotel was incredibly clean and has the most beautiful and special features like the curving staircases where even if you were in Jean's you could feel like a princess cascading down to the next level. and the most stunning chandeliers. There are shops on the ground floor level and a spa and hairdressers. Though I did not use the spa or hairdressers. Alina on guest assistance was fabulous, and very personable. Qasim from concierge truly went above and beyond and in my own personal opinion showed brand excellence in its highest form. Special thanks also to Hassan in the buffet restaurant who was amazing with all guests and had a permanent smile, as did Alex on buffett reception desk just one big bundle of joy. But ALL and I must stress All staff everywhere, in this incredible oasis of beauty were a credit to the hotel. There is also an Asian inspired restraunt called Lao and an Itailan called social but these I did not get the chance to try. My only negative was I had to leave and really did not want to Thank you to each and everyone of you for your incredible warmth and service, it is a hotel I will talk about to many people and hopefully will be back to stay at again. Would highly recomnend My very best wishes to you all Ms Elly

My wife and I will be flying home tomorrow after an 11 night stay at this wonderful hotel. As first timers to Dubai we didn’t know what to expect; what we got was a fabulous hotel, impeccable service, a sumptuous Pearl King Club Room and the best quality food we have ever had. We would like to thank the entire team of staff that made sure our stay was unforgettable from the breakfast team, the housekeeping team and the poolside team through to the restaurant team. We would like to mention just a few staff who made our stay so very special. Thomas, Sasi and Pabit at the Adult Pool (you guys are a credit to the hotel) and Sushil and Rajan who kept our room so immaculate along with Arni and his colleagues in the Pearl Club.We hope to return soon.

This was our first holiday since COVID and were very apprehensive about this holiday, we needn't have worried staff at the hotel all wore masks and were always cleaning . Firstly we would like to say a very big thank you to Sushil who keep our bedroom very clean, and for the towel people and animals he made a different one every day it was brilliant. A big thank you to Udaya was drove the shuttle bus to the Mall, he was a great driver and a pleasant gentleman. I would like to thank all the staff in the Mezzerie who were great. Thanks to all the staff at the Pearl Lounge for the great afternoon tea, it was lovely talking to you all. Thanks to the staff at the pool the ice lollies were great at midday keep everyone cool, and for supplying everyone with water to keep us hydrated. I would recommend this hotel and hopefully we will be back.
