This hotel never disappoints which is why we keep returning - this was our fifth time. Familiar faces on arrival who recognised us from our previous visits - they really looked after us. This hotel is like a home from home for us. The hotel itself is classy and facilities are just what we need. We received 5 star treatment throughout our stay.
Location - the hotel is on the Palm and after spending some time near JBR I’m so pleased we continue staying at this hotel. It’s away from the madness and allows you to retreat to a calm relaxing environment. We could quite easily not leave the hotel but nevertheless we did to meet friends. We ordered Uber taxis and they are so reasonable.
Reception - warm welcome with a cold towel, welcome drink, thorough explanation of the facilities and a big smile.
Pearl Club Room - the most amazingly comfortable bed and Bathrobes. The complimentary toiletries by Aesop were amazing. The room was spacious, clean and had a fabulous view. Housekeeping did a fabulous job cleaning the room - twice a day which was very much appreciated.
Pearl Club Genuine VIP treatment from all staff which is why we always select this option in addition to our room. The food and drinks options are fantastic. The staff, including the chefs, go above and beyond in Pearl Club. The canapés are delicious and the breakfast offerings are fantastic - the pastries in particular are delicious. The whole lounge deserves recognition but a few people we’d love to mention who really are amazing and looked after us: Sagar, Mercy, Evelyn, Saba, Jennifer and Umesh. Thank you for everything, you’re all very special to us.
Poolside Every day all staff looked after us. There were days the staff would, unprompted, set up the same loungers for us each day! This was unexpected and we were very grateful. Cold towels, sunglasses cleaned, a hose down with ice cold water fragranced with Jasmine and regular top ups of ice cold drinking water - made our pool visits special and comfortable. Palm avenue staff were always on hand if you required food - which is delicious. One observation is the staff run about so much I’m not sure how they do it in that heat - and they’re always smiling and ready to help. A few people who really looked after us we’d like to mention: Perara, Thomas, Sasi, Donesh and Sagar. Thank you so much for everything.
LAO The food here is exceptional, as is the service. We ate here three times during our stay. Eshan provided fabulous service and really looked after us - thank you. Eshan asked for a picture with us one evening then on our last night, placed a card on our table with our picture on it along with a thank you from all the staff - so lovely. All the staff are fantastic, including the chefs.
Mezzerie The restaurant has a different theme night every night - we tried each one as we stayed for 2 weeks, it never disappoints. The Head Chef remembered us from our previous visits and was always keen to ensure we liked the food. He’d always make a point of saying hello. If you wanted something they didn’t have they will do their best to ensure you’re accommodated. The dessert station is fabulous.
Gym The gym is excellent and has all the equipment you need for a great workout. Fabulous view from the treadmills of the Burj Al Arab.

We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria on the palm for 2 nights on the 4th of August 2020. Check in was nice and smooth and I would like to say thank you to Abihrup who was very welcoming and informative. He also accommodated us in a twin room as we were staying with our 15 year old son.
The room was beautiful with two big beds plenty of room for the three of us. The view was absolutely beautiful over the ocean with a great view of some famous Dubai landmarks.
One of the best parts was the bathroom and what was in the bathroom. The bathroom had a great shower and a beautiful bath which also had a TV in there. Although the remote needed new batteries and we coukdnt reduce the volume. The twin sinks came with two mirrors which were very well lit.
We did not find any dental kits which meant no toothbrush or toothpaste, floss, mouthwash etc.
What we did find though was the most amazing bathrobe which my wife virtually lived in.
The main point of the stay was to get some sun after being locked down through Covid 19. The pool was nice and relaxing. The beds were well spaced out and no too crowded and there were very nice cabanas behind them which were free of charge if available.
There is no complimentary water bottles at the pool but there is a water cooler which dispensed water for free. I'm all for this as it has a lesser impact on the environment. We brought our own water bottles and filled them up from the dispenser and the pool staff provided ice and buckets.
One of the only negative things I would say about the entire stay is that the water in the cooler didnt seem like mineral water to me and I have a suspicion it was regular tap water. It actually wasn't very refreshing.
The other negative would be that the food and beverage while tasty, was a bit overpriced in my opinion.
We ordered room service breakfast one day which was delicious. The full breakfast however was very expensive so I reccomend going with the "2 egg" breakfast which was much better value for money and the eggs came with sausages, veal bacon, mushrooms, spinach, toast and beans etc so basically the full breakfast but a lot better priced.
Every request we made through the phone was delivered very quickly, I liked that they gave you a specific time it will be with you and in fact they were always ahead of time.
Overall I highly recommend the place and would definitely return again.

Queen room, two double beds facing across the sea to the Burj Al Arab. There is a road between the hotel and the sea but was no bother and in fact it's great to watch the amazing super cars that pass from time to time. Bed comfort is amazing and there is a pillow menu should you want to change pillows. The bathroom has a double sink, lovely bath, walk in great shower, plenty of great quality towels, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, various other things in a little pull out draw, toilet off of the bathroom with a bidet. High quality bath robes and good quality through fixtures and finishes throughout. There is a TV and blind that you can have down or up if you want to see through to the bedroom.
Walk in wardrobe with free safe, slippers, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Laundry bag should you wish to use the service.
Bedroom - balcony has comfortable chairs and table, air con, fridge, tea, coffee, free water, fruit, milk, table and chair, usb sockets, glasses, cups and saucers, bed side lamp, mirrors. All items are replenished and are of good quality.
Useful things to know- There is a free shuttle bus, times on the website. If you intend to use the City Bus or Big Bus, you can use the 11.15am bus to the Atlantis where you can then pick up these buses. You can walk to the Atlantis and it will take you about an hour, turn left out of the hotel and keep walking. There is a good gym, sauna and treatment room on site which are Free apart from massages and treatments. The food is very good and is buffet style, though you can use other restaurants on site and they will give you a credit towards that. We aways used the buffet and found it very good, serving right up until 10.30pm. Sun beds are free and so is the water at the beach. It is very easy to get a taxi, they are everywhere you go and you can call them off of the street. Use the brown/cream ones they are on a meter and are the cheapest.
We had a wonderful stay here and there is no doubt that the staff and management run this hotel to the highest of standards. You will definitely need to use taxis, City Bus Tours or hire a car to get around from this location, but it was lovely to wake up with the sea and the view and in my mind a perfect location.

Stayed here at the beginning of August and as soon as we entered the hotel we fell in love with it the decor is beautiful and the pictures really just do not do it justice. Because we had lounge access we were whisked in to the club lounge upon arrival for our vip check in where we met the wonderful Carl who was very polite and friendly. Luckily even though we arrived at 08.00am our suite was ready. We stayed in the Waldorf Astoria suite which was massive and had three balcolnies and two toilets and even a mini kitchen. This suite was cleaned and beautifully arranged by utnoor who made us some amazing towel animals and the day before we left even gave us flowers . Our room was cleaned to the highest detail with our shoes and slippers arranged all in one place for us and our belongings were neatly arranged. Because my husband and I travelled with two kids we had two extra beds which were very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner in the mezzerie was lovely with Esther greeting us with a friendly smile every morning and remembering our names. The food was of such high quality and even on the first day we’re lucky enough to be given breakfast as a kind gesture as our flight arrived quite early in the morning. The stay was honestly perfect with little surprises throughout our stay such as towel animals and even strawberries dipped in chocolate. Our personal concierge also greeted us and was accessible throughout the duration of our stay. And we thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary Bentley service. Thank you Waldorf Astoria Dubai and the team for such a memorable holiday. You will not regret booking it.

I returned for my third visit to this magnificent property in December 2021. It had been a while since my last stay due to travel restrictions etc. But the Waldorf-Astoria was just as amazing and wonderful as I remembered it. The name Waldorf-Astoria sets expectations very high and this hotel certainly keeps on delivering. I was given the warmest welcome by Eve in The Pearl Club (the term executive lounge would not do this wonderful oasis justice). Even though a couple of years had passed, Eve immediately recognized me and made me feel at home straight away. A great way to begin my stay. The rooms and the hotel in general are beautifully and tastefully designed and appointed. The rooms are also very large and very comfortable. This time I stayed in a one bedroom Pearl Club suite, and it was fantastic. With a very spacious well furnished bedroom and living room and a large bathroom with a freestanding tub and a huge shower, the suite also had a walk-in closet and large balcony overlooking the pool. The suite included access to the Club which is great. They serve excellent breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapés with cocktails, but most importantly the whole Club team is wonderful. You’d have a hard time finding a more dedicated group of people anywhere. But also in general, service at this property is so genuinely excellent. Every single member of staff that I talked to, whether in restaurants, by the pool, at the front desk or from housekeeping (who kept my suite pristine, polished my shoes and wrote me a very kind note with good wishes for my journey home), they were all so determined to make my stay the most enjoyable ever. Service here is about anticipating needs, making sure any issue is completely resolved. A great advantage of the palm location is direct access to the beach with the calm warm waters of the lagoon inside the palm crescent. Plenty of comfortable beach chairs are available. There are two large pools, one for families and one for adults only with all the peace and quiet you could wish for. The pool attendants make sure guests get lots of fresh towels and a steady supply of ice cold bottled water. Dining throughout the hotel is excellent. From Social with its creative and delicious gourmet Italian cuisine to the Vietnamese restaurant Lao where I enjoyed not one but two wonderful dinners on the terrace, it was all very enjoyable (I wrote separate reviews of the restaurants). I will definitely return to this paradise on the Palm.

We arrived at the Waldorf in the 22nd December, Boxing Day and the hotel was beautifully decorated for Xmas.
Huge attractions and developments are ongoing to make Dubai and even better holiday destination ,the Global Village is a must see attraction.
We arrived on the 26th, Boxing Day and the hotel was beautifully decorated for Xmas. The Cocktail Party in the Presidential Suite was amazing. Once again the staff make every event special.
The New Years entertainment was a bit of a let down but the hotel was decorated in a Circus theme and looked spectacular. We saw the New Year in on the beach with awesome firework displays all over Dubai. David Wilson, the hotel manager and his staff supplying us with champagne to toast the New Year.
The hotel has a children's play club and our two Grand daughters spent an enjoyable time with the staff.
The hotel itself is very well appointed, which you would expect from a 5 star accommodation. We had a Delux Room facing The Palm and upgraded to the Premier Lounge. Was it worth the extra cost? Yes in every way! Whilst everyone will not opt for this option we can only judge on the package we chose.
The Mezzerie restaurant is available to all guests and can get quite busy as this is where most families chose to eat. A good choice of food and this is a buffet restaurant. The Lao restaurant is a Vietnamese restaurant and the food second to none. The Social restaurant is an Italian restaurant and again the standard of food is very high. The Palm restaurant is around the pool area and we did not get the chance to eat there;
Any negatives that can be found in any of these restaurants is they can be quite expensive, so watch the menu and order accordingly.
The rooms, communal areas and facilities anywhere in the hotel are of a very high standard.
The crowning glory of this hotel is the staff and their willingness to go over and beyond their duties, Special mention to Emma and Mark in the Premier Lounge who made our stay very special.
Many thanks to David Wilson the hotel manager he does an excellent job of running this hotel. We will be returning Xmas 2020.

From the moment we arrived the service was flawless. Arriving at 9am we were instantly shown to the Pearl Club, offered breakfast and also delighted to find our room ready some 6hrs early. The staff could not have been more helpful. The beach and pool areas were spotless, comfortable and had a fabulous atmosphere. The team in that area could not have been more helpful - Joseph in particular! The Pearl Club really is a fabulous addition. The food and drinks are first class and Mercy and the rest of the team are a shining example of hospitality and customer service. Nothing was too much trouble from restaurant bookings to advice on best times to leave the hotel and head into Dubai. Lao provided some of the best Vietnamese cuisine I’ve ever tasted and again the service was faultless. Palm Avenue provided the perfect lunchtime beach food options and also a great evening meal. Sitting in the cabana over the pool was lovely and the Sunday evening Drunch was a fabulous evening, great value and a wonderful atmosphere. Special note should go to Akhil for very attentive service and going the extra mile to make us welcome. Serafina Bar also provided some great evening music and the cocktails were sublime. The rooms are the best 5* hotel room I’ve ever encountered anywhere in the world and I would say that the Waldorf Palm Jumeirah is the best Waldorf I’ve visited anywhere in the world, including Rome and New York!

We have stayed at many 5-star hotels and the Waldorf Dubai Palm Jumeriah was absolutely stellar. We got into Dubai around 8:00a and arrived at the hotel at 9:30a. We were able too check into our suite around noon so we waited in the Pearl Club Lounge until then enjoying a late breakfast and snacks.
The room was amazing. Separate living room with a sofa and 2 club chairs. The bathroom had Salvatore Ferragamo products and a TV screen built into the wall by the bathtub.
Mark checked us in at the Pearl Club and always greeted us by name after that. Same goes for Emma and Cleopatra. My husband was always the first person in the lounge each morning for the 4 nights that we stayed there so they definitely remembered him! For breakfast, there was food set out plus you could order off a menu. Snacks at lunch set up buffet style and a happy hour in the evening.
The hotel grounds were beautiful. When I looked at pictures of the adult pool, I thought it might be on the smaller side but it was not and you could barely hear anything from the main pool. The pool attendants brought us bottled water in a plastic bag with ice and set up our sun beds/umbrella.
The hotel has an onsite tennis court with an instructor for private lessons.
Bottom line is that we really wanted to stay on the hotel grounds during our 4 night stay but it was our first time to Dubai and we had a lot on our agenda. Will definitely stay again and thanks again to Mark, Emma and Cleopatra who made our stay wonderful.

Perhaps not the most convenient location for touring the city but a great location for enjoying the beach, the pool, water sports, and the excellent club lounge. There are beautiful grounds, multiple pools, manicured beach, dock, and a large swimming area on the calm interior waters of the palm. The rooms have balconies and expansive views of the inner Palm. The floors are beautiful wood with plush carpets and the large marble bath in my suite was quite large and uniquely decorated. There are multiple restaurants and lounges on property but be sure to book Social by Hans Beck for a Michelin star level meal. While Dubai is not rated by Michelin the namesake chef also operates starred restaurants in Rome and London and it does make for that kind of dining experience.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in March of this year, and what an amazing time we had. We chose the hotel primarily because of the reputation of the Waldorf Astoria and we we're not disappointed. The hotel itself is beautiful, so grand, so opulent yet comfortable, and homely. Our room which was a King Deluxe Skyline Sea View was beautiful with a large Balcony and amazing views of the Dubai Skyline, Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa etc... The staff in this hotel and the service they provide is exceptional. From the servers, to the waiting staff to the reception staff, bar staff , pool staff, everyone, made our stay wonderful. Whenever we left the hotel we had one of the hotel drivers take us, from the first time till the last time it was the same driver, he gave us his number so we could contact him, he dropped us off and picked us up anytime we wanted him too, never late, always polite and eager to provide a good service. Towards the end of the trip the COVID 19 pandemic was taking hold outside and across the rest of the world but you would never have really known, apart from the fact that the local attractions started to close which meant we had to spend our last few days in the hotel only, which was no hardship. The staff ensured that our stay remained a relaxing and pleasurable one. Although the hotel has its own private beach our preference was to stay by the pool, which was great given that there is an adults only pool which was perfect for us. There was just the right number of loungers around the pool, so it was not crowded, luxury, thick, soft towels provided. The team were always on hand to attend to our every need ,whether it was putting up the umbrella to give us a bit of shade, provide more towels, regularly providing us with free bottles of water served in large bags of ice, poolside meals and cocktails. I cannot rate this hotel enough, it truly is exceptional and whilst its very beautiful and luxurious it really is the staff that make it a wonderful place to stay. We look forward to visiting again

We only did the breakfast. Yes it was a buffet. It was absolutely delicious. I'm not sure about wheat or gluten free but they do for sure ask if there any food allergies. This hotel stay was the most amazing part if our trip. Service was absolutely amazing
There are more places to choose from in the Dubai area.
