We booked Savoy Suites Hotel Appartment located at Bur Dubai, 12A Street, for the convenience of the location.
To be honest, since it was our first vacation to Dubai, both, my wife and myself did extensive research to shortlist suitable accommodation, but on further digging through the various reviews and comments on the various websites, we were more confused and apprehensive about every single property. There were more nagative comments than positive ones about every property, which left us no other option but to revise our search criteria and budgets.
However, while searching, and post widening our search criteria to include hotel appartments, we came across the Savoy properties. We followed the same protocol of digging through the reviews, but at some point, we decided to take a chance and select the Savoy Suites Hotel Appartment on 12A Street.
A very big chance, but then we looked at it from the convenience point of view, we were going to Dubai for a week, and an appartment hotel offered a far better proposition than most hotels. Having booked the hotel, and on receiving the confirmation, I decided to write an email to them regarding our booking details.
On arrival at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Usman Sadekar, the F.O.M at Savoy Suites, who also acknowledged the receipt of our email.
To our pleasant surprise, we were given a room with a balcony, although we had booked a non-balcony room. The check in process was very smooth for us, and although we had to wait for around 15 to 20 minutes, we were offered some juice and also coffee, while we waited.
Mr. Usman also briefed us bout the vicinity and some of the local supermarkets, and even offered us complimentary NOL cards since we were long stay guests.
On reaching the room, we were happy with the condition of the room. It was neat and tidy, and exactly as the photos claim it to be. The room was spacious amd well furnished. Even the size of the room was good, to accommodate 3 to 4 people. One of the best gestures was the surprise complimentary basket of fresh fruits sent to our room. Some of the small gestures made us feel welcome and comfortable.
On the breakfast front, I mist admit that the number of items on the table are not too many, but whatever there is, is tasty and well prepared. The one thing that I loved the most was the feest fruit yoghurt, a mist try for sure...😋😋.
Overall, our stay at Savoy Suites was very pleasant and comfortable. We would like to thank everyone for ensuring that we had a pleasant and memorable experience!!

Savoy has in every sense made our stay in Dubai a memorable one. I remember having told them that it is our anniversary and if you could arrange for something like a bouquet of roses or so. But they went beyond and decorated the entire room with roses, gave us complimentary fruit baskets and fruit champagne and cake tarts and ensured our day was well spent. They also have a very sweet surprise for u at the breakfast table which i dont want to reveal here but it brings a smile to your face. We were there for four days and they were so helpful - be it taxi booking (u tel them and 5 mins it's done), be it guiding us for the tour, be it their shuttle to beach, be their facilities in the room. The room facilities are self sufficient in every way. All in all we had a lovely experience. Special thanks to Mr Usman Sadekar who was very warm, welcoming and helpful to us. We are definitely recommending Savoy to our fellow mates and whenever we make it to Dubai, we definitely stay at Savoy.

I travelled with my family (5 members) for six days, and truly admire the polite behavior and helping nature of all the staff at Savoy Suites, which was really the highlight of my trip.
Special thanks to Usman who manages Savoy Suites, for making sure we had a comfortable stay, and also to Sachin who helped with all queries/bookings with a smiling face.
Location: The location is Bur Dubai, and good for tourist with easy access to cabs and supermarket nearby. The hotel provided me with a wheelchair as my dad could not walk much, and the staff even booked cabs when required.
Rooms: Spacious and clean rooms with a comfortable bed, all required amenities along with a kitchenette. Rooftop pool was great to unwind, though I never used the gym and sauna.
Breakfast: Indian and continental breakfast and a variety of spread. My son really enjoyed the cupcakes.
Check-in process: Swift and caring. I hereby need to mention Madan who manages Savoy Crest, he and Usman, upgraded my rooms to Savoy Suites as my dad needed a walk-in shower due to knee problem and cannot use a bathtub. I am swiftly transported to Savoy Suites on arrival. It was so overwhelmingly nice gesture :)
This is an example of a very well run hotel, the management needs to be congratulated. I will surely be returning !!

We stayed in this hotel for a week during Christmas 2019. The hotel itself and the rooms were sufficient, but not that new anymore. The main bed was very good, the 3rd (sofa) bed for our grown up daughter was insufficient, but she didn’t want to complain. The room also included appliances, like a fridge, microwave and even a combined washing and drying machine. The last needed repair first, because the door was broken and we only tried it only once. It leaked and the clothes came out smelling and still quite wet. The air conditioning was quite noisy, but worked well. The location is good, only a 500 meter walk to the metro station Burjuman, where the 2 main metro lines (green and red) cross. The large Burjuman Mall, which also includes a big Carrefour supermarket is next to the metro station. It’s also doable to make a nice walk via busy streets towards the soukh and the abra’s (little ferries) to cross Dubai Creek to visit the spice- and gold soukh. In our opinion this is one of the best locations to stay, because every part of Dubai can be reached from here in a reasonable amount of time using the (cheap) metro or by taxi. There is a lot of personnel in the hotel and they are in general very friendly. The follow up on every request is very fast. But, during 2 nights we were woken up more than once in the middle of the night by a ringing phone (wake up call or call from outside – not intended for us). Complaints about this were not taken totally serious. The hotel is visited by people from all over the world, especially many from India. During breakfast and dinner also Indian food is served. The freshly on the spot made omelets were very nice. Dinner was included in our package, but the Western oriented menu lacked variety and it’s quality was moderate. TIP: try sometimes the Indian menu, we did it once and it was much better and tastier. Ask before if it’s not too spicy for you if you’re not used to it. There is a small guarded swimming pool and sundeck on the roof. Nice to relax for a while.

I had seen this hotel apartment nicely in pictures and yearned to be there but was greeted with so much unpleasant situations right from my first night. My family and I booked a special offer studio room. On arrival, the room had a strong smell, like curry spice which probably must have been used by the previous guests that used the room. The facilities were old and needed upgrading . Washing machine had the handle broken and totally off with a hole to show. Nonetheless I decided to use it that night without complain but as soon as it was switched on, water started dripping all over the floor from the machine( which meant the machine was totally disfunctinal). Kictchen surface was not too clean. The plate rack in the kitchen was actually rusted. I was so disappointed to see that especially. Now entering the bath room which had the wardrobes fixed in the space( very tiny space), we realized the flusher of the WC was partially broken. The towels were not fresh and also had a strong smell. Everything about the room was just not right as seen in the pictures . We wanted a change of room but that was not granted. The best they did was to change the washing machine . The reception area of this hotel coupled as the only restaurant there as well. Glad we didn’t add breakfast to our booking.The staff are friendly and willing to help but looks like there is little they can do. Management needs to remodel this place and load real pictures to lessen the expectation of guests before arriving here. The location is by far the good thing about this property.

We travelled to Dubai in february and booked two rooms for 5 of us. On arrival they offered us a two bedroom apartment, which we liked and agreed to stay in, The two bedroom apartment had a common living room, 2 bedrooms one with attached washroom. The other room has toilet and bathroom which was close to living room. the room was good enough for us with the privacy we needed. I stayed here for 5 days and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food is good, service was attentive. Housekeeping did an excellent job. It was walkable distance from metro station (15 mins walk) which we were fine with. We took taxi mostly as we had planned our complete stay, however couple of times we did use metro and it was accesible.

We stayed here for 7 days. We had a very warm welcome at 2:30 am check-in time. The room was very clean, daily house-keeping was provided, the staff on our floor Pradeep did an exceptional job and kept everything neat and clean and organized. The room comes with a kitchenette- sink, cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge and a laundry machine. If you ask, they also provide you with a laundry stand to dry your washed clothes, (since the washer only partially drys your clothes) . This very helpful for us since we were with two small kiddos. If we needed anything, it was only a phone call to the helpdesk. Every staff greets you with a smile and is very helpful. Manar helped us get taxis couple of times when we were still getting used to booking cabs via the app. There is a wide selection during the breakfast time and is very reasonably priced at 20AED. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

Awesome ambience.. Hospitality is the top class. We had a great stay in Savoy suites hotel appartment ... The staffs took care of all our requests... extremely hospitable and very helpful. One staff Sujay on breakfast team was very supportive always. He always take care of our likes and dislikes. We got room no. 214 on second floor our room was cleaned by David Moura , he is very decent housekeeping, he cleans our room properly and always available to give best service he is very cooperative, he maintains proper hygiene while cleaning our room. On roof top swimming pool guy was also very cooperative and decent.

Savoy Suites is a great place which you can call your home when you are in Dubai. Situated in prime Bur Dubai area, accessibility to facilities is great.
Savoy has taken care to address each and every minutest requirement of the client and provided all basic amenities.

Wonderful and comfortable stay. Breakfast options were awesome. Suggestion is to have dryer with washer, or at least choose a 2 in 1 option. Offering us to wash clothes in room without adewuate drying services created more work and nuisance than needed for a traveller. Other than that, customer service was impeccable!
