I did not realize that somehow, the booking was made for only 1 person... Secondly, we agreed to have an amount from our credit card held by the hotel for services that we would like charged to the room and settled at check-out... I told the man who said he was the supervisor that I have stayed at many hotels before and that unless laundry service is by an independent provider, I should be able to charge the service to the room... The man then, insultingly, told me that unless I am a VVIP from whom the hotel may withhold thousands (of dollars/dirhams), I cannot charge to the room... What was the point of holding money from my credit card if I cannot charge anything to the room...

...While inquiring about any other rooms, she didn't even search for any other options - she quoted only 1 master two bedroom option for 1 night at 1700 AED – but my manager (who was helping from home) was able to find a better option for much cheaper in an Executive master bedroom in the next building of the SAME hotel! Ritah was not at all supportive and made no effort to try assist in my dire situation where I was facing the prospect of having to walk around Dubai looking for a hotel room during the World cup rush of visitors that came that week... Instead, the issue was solved by my manager who booked the room on his device (at the same hotel)... Later on, I thankfully got a more helpful receptionist Arbaz who did all the formalities for booking the room of the apartment building next door, and requested another staff to assist me to the that building...

It’s cheaper than everywhere else in downtown for a reason...

Only 10 min walk to Dubai although the heat may get to you a bit. The facility has a lot of other options outside of the hotel which was very convenient with someone to drive you around in a buggy for easier access... Kitchen staff were very friendly and went beyond to assist your needs... Walah at reception checking us out was very hospitable... We were lucky enough to check in earlier than the time which was a bonus since arriving on a long haul flight and the breakfast buffet had some good food selection...

I'm here in the hotel for the first time and I'm very impressed. With a very warm welcome with a traditional Arabic coffee and dates, you feel very comfortable... The service is great and always friendly...

Honestly one of the best reception you can ever receive! From the moment we stepped into the Hotel we were greeted with such warmth, especially Kingsley who always had a smile on his face and very happy to help ... Stayed for 4 days with family and booked three Classic King Rooms... Check in time was 3pm we went in around 4pm and the rooms were still not ready... The reception staff were pretty slow... Cleaning staff were very good and did a great job... Special mention to Badul, Syst and Sylvester... Restaurant staff were very polite and helpful... Had dinner on a Thursday 17/11 International Buffet, great spread and we received a complimentary cake ☺️ as well for my birthday... Special mention to all the staff on duty on 17/11 night... For the positives, you could see the fruit juices were freshly squeezed and there were lots of staff who aimed to give you good service...

Very suitable for large groups together, three bedrooms can live in 5 to 6 people, per person down is very cost-effective. Arab Health exhibition is near the hotel, about 10 minutes, opposite the hotel is dubai mall, it is very convenient...

We had a pleasant stay for 12 days. We got a nice upgrade to have more comfort, because our stay was over 10 days, wich was a splendid decision... The housekeeping was very good, our room was always nice and clean... We were really surprised by the variety of choices and also de quality of the food in the roomservice... It was also very nice chilling at the swimmingpool... Special thanks to Yasser, the lifeguard, who was always very friendly and pleasant... He even planned "The Museum of the Future" for us, who was normally sold out until february... What makes a stay at Swissotel Al Murooj great, is that the hotel is situated just across the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa... Maybe some little points to work on: - a bit more variety in the breakfastbuffet...

Pros: We started out really liking the hotel... Our room on the 7th floor was spacious and comfortable with a direct sunrise view every morning... Dubai Mall with access to the Burj Khalifa was just across the road, and the breakfast buffet was good... At check-in, we were told that breakfast was included but NOT told that the online booking showed that the room was booked for one person and the rate paid was for only one breakfast... If we had known earlier, we might have considered the option of not having breakfast at the hotel and get a less expensive one elsewhere... I had originally thought breakfast was not included in the room rate and we were already prepared to skip breakfast or eat elsewhere until we were told that breakfast was included at check-in... Secondly, we agreed to have an amount from our credit card held by the hotel for services that we would like charged to the room and settled at check-out... When we mentioned that we already have an amount on hold by the hotel for such services, the housekeeping staff told us that it was not possible because the hotel will never hold any amount for such services and that it was the hotel policy... I told the man who said he was the supervisor that I have stayed at many hotels before and that unless laundry service is by an independent provider, I should be able to charge the service to the room...

I'm here in the hotel for the first time and I'm very impressed. With a very warm welcome with a traditional Arabic coffee and dates, you feel very comfortable... Also the rooms are nice and clean...

Honestly one of the best reception you can ever receive! From the moment we stepped into the Hotel we were greeted with such warmth, especially Kingsley who always had a smile on his face and very happy to help ... The hotel is extremely clean and classy ... We stayed in a 2 bed apartment and we enjoyed our 6 nights , room service was top notch ... The hotel is very close to the Dubai mall which is so convenient, the best part was the breakfast , there was a lot of choice...

A ideally located hotel that provided us with a quick check in. It has a travel desk that is efficiently and expertly managed by Divya and Shakeer... Well informed and ever helpful the travel desk was a boon to us... The room was spacious and was well maintained by the housekeeping staff... Airport drop was a paid facility we utilized that was also efficiently arranged... In-room dining was a pleasant experience with food arriving warm , on time and tasty... A 10 minute walk from the Dubai Mall and the Burj Kalifa was definitely a huge plus...

Stayed for 4 days with family and booked three Classic King Rooms... Special mention to Badul, Syst and Sylvester... Breakfast was good with a satisfactory spread... Had dinner on a Thursday 17/11 International Buffet, great spread and we received a complimentary cake ☺️ as well for my birthday...

We booked a family 2 bedroom apartment... However, it is good for families who want extra room... There is a washer/dryer but they are the same machine and the dryer is less than useless... Again though it is good for space, superb air conditioning and location to the Dubai Mall... We found a much easier and more convenient way through the restaurant/pub attached... The main hotel is luxurious and smells lovely, the apartment hallways smell old and damp...

The Swissotel Al Murooj is a fantastic location next to the Dubai Mall, views of the Burj Khalif and a lovely family friendly swimming pool. We recommend the swissotel breakfast and there are plenty of local shops to stock up your cupboards nearby... The staff go above and beyond to welcome you and make your stay really relaxing...

Service, beds, space were great. Stayed 1 night for 15hr long layover in Dubai In Presidential suite and was surprised by the space and absolute super space... Outdoor hot tub was lovely and if it wasn’t 40c would have used it more as being outside was just too warm... However, other than the shirt, all else was nice...
