The best bit about the hotel was the great service from the staff at Nosh. Samuel the restaurant manager went out of his way to make our experience enjoyable and Yolanda, Arul and the new Sushi chef were all so lovely! They went above and beyond to make my husband’s birthday on sushi night really special, we really appreciated it! 🙏🏽 Breakfast each day was plentiful, lots of choice, fresh fruit - highlights were the paratha’s and chia puddings. The room: We stayed at the Movenpick JLT for five nights booking through Secret Escapes. When checking in the staff said that he would “do his best” to give us a Lakeview room despite us having a book that specifically - check in was long. The room itself was good however, really disappointing that the view of the lakes was spoilt by very dirty windows . The bathroom needed updating when having a shower over the bath the water leaked all the way down leaving a puddle in the bathroom. Mini bar was not stocked throughout stay, but housekeeping kept us stocked up with water bottles every day which was great. Location - short straightforward walk to DMCC station where you can get on the metro/train to all the main POI’s, cheap way to get around the city but can get busy and long. The window in our room wouldn’t close properly so a lot of noise from the UBK bar, and food smells coming up. We stumbled upon Jazz @ Pizza Express which was just next to the hotel - AMAZING live music on Sunday night!! Pool was good, nice and quiet but lots of building work going on nearby. Made use of the shuttle service to the beach club on the Palm, nice benefit of the hotel.…

First of all we must say thank you to all the reception staff specially Fatima for her effort and enthusiasm, Irene for her effort and nice suggestions about here home country Kenya. Zaharia and Zipporahi for there big smiles and help and Komron for his efforts and nice conversations. Muh Salah for his help with our bookings. All of them made us feel very welkom and they did know how to deal with different issues at the same time. We spend 7 days in the Mövenpick hotel Jumera towers and after a bad first night in a room opposite of a new tower under construction with a lot of noise during the night we ask to be moved to a more quieter room and the staff moved us to a upgraded room which was more than we ever asked for. The rooms are very clean and the beds are perfect, balcony was big. Thanks to housekeeping staff as well. Buffet dinner is perfect and the fact that you can take the shuttle to The Riva club at the palm makes it even a better. Location is great. 10 min from metro station dmcc and tram to marina areas, plenty of restaurants around. From the bell boy to the duty manager everybody was so nice and helpful, we really enjoyed our time there and can really recommend this hotel.…

Good customer service. Great view. There us a good pub downstairs. Very ample and safe walking area around the hotel. Food is in point and room has more than adequate amenities. Staff are very courteous and attentive to details. Esther at the bar epitomizes professionalism and empathy.

We arrived into the hotel first thing in the morning, the receptionist allowed us to check-in within a few hours which was a great gesture, especially after a long flight! The first room did not meet our expectations as the light switches were very flimsy, the lighting didn’t work in the room and the switches came off which was a hazard. Irene kindly upgraded us to a better room after the complaint which was a lot bigger, roomy and felt 5*, she also ensured the remainder of our stay was memorable. One of of the main concerns I hope management consider in their next review is to sort out the outdoor noise, as the windows are not sound proofed, this did make it difficult to sleep at night, I can see this has been a problem over the years but I hope the issue can be addressed to help improve the client experience. From the concierge team to the restaurant staff, all that I engaged with were super friendly and attentive. The staff at Mövenpick are a great asset to the brand. I’d like to give my heartfelt thanks to Irene who also allowed us to check out a few hours later and Helen for making our stay special at the Mövenpick, I hope you enjoyed your birthday too!…

It could be perfect, but my room was to the street side, so it was a quite noisy. If you can sleep with closed windows and air-conditioning it'll be well. Rooms are well furnitured, stuff is very kind. My special love to the restaurant team who made a good mood from the morning. The smile of Purushu makes me happy, hi s a master of eggs cooking. Every single person I encountered went out of their way to be helpful & kind. Seriously amazing service! I left my room and while I was checking out someone brought me the phone charger I had managed to leave behind! The room was large, clean and well appointed. This was just a quick overnight trip and I was simply looking for affordable lodging near to my appointment the next day. I was not expecting a lot. This hotel surprised and delighted!!! I recommend without reservation.

Loved the resturant, chef and the staff. Especially Pam who went the extra mile to make our experience worthwhile. We took the 1 meter hot dog challenge. Best hot dog 🌭, we ever had. Epic food adventure we drove all the way from Abu Dhabi for this resturant was def worth the travel.

I went to UBK to watch the football game. On the same day I had lost my wallet but I was unsure where I left it. To my relief, I received a message on LinkedIn from the Security Supervisor Mohsin after 2 days. He told me he found my wallet and i retrieved it successfully. I would like to thank the Security team for going out of the way to help me retrieve my wallet. Special mentions to Yahia and Shifa as well for their help. Everyone was beyond professional!
