The cleaning staff did an excellent job in my room each time I asked it to be done within a certain time slot. Appreciate it Bhupender, I had to have those tight time slots due to work! Recommended. Oh yeah, they have several Gluten-Free Options in this hotel.

We spent seven wonderful days at this Sofitel in Dubai Downtown from late March to early April 2022. We had specifically chosen the Sofitel because it offers a whole range of advantages, such as the immediate connection to the metro system via a short two-minute walk to the metro station, the good accessibility of all the eastside and westside highlights of the city by metro, as well as the proximity to the Burj Khalifa with the Fountains and to the Dubai Mall within walking distance via air-conditioned pedestrian bridge (10 minutes to the Mall and about 15 minutes to the Fountains). At the end of our vacation, we can confirm that this was a really good decision. But now to the hotel itself: We had booked a "Luxury Club twin room with Burj Khalifa view" with breakfast and access to the Club Millésime. Due to an early flight, we were already 9:30 in the morning at the hotel. We were very warmly welcomed at the front desk by Ms. Lamiaa. She arranged for us to have access to breakfast and an early check-in to a Club room on one of the top Club floors with a direct view of the Downtown area and Burj Khalifa. This was a perfect way to start the vacation. The room itself was very spacious with about 50 square meters, has a very large and modern bathroom with large shower plus bathtub and a separate toilet, super comfortable beds in which we really slept quite well, and a well-functioning air conditioner (it takes a little longer before it reaches the target temperature, but is therefore very quiet). But what surprised us the most was the heavenly silence in the room despite the view of the busy street in front of it - the sound isolation is really very good! Many thanks also to Mr. Raju from room service, who kept our room exceptionally clean and topped it up with refreshments and toiletries. The French-style Club Millésime (is identical to the L'Apero lounge) offered us all-day coffee specialties and soft drinks indoors and in the covered, openable outdoor area, an Afternoon Tea (15:00-17:00) with savory and sweet snacks, and from 18:00-20:00 a good range of alcoholic beverages and daily changing and lovingly arranged cold and hot appetizers. Club access is therefore really to be recommended. Our special thanks go to the whole team of Club Millésime around Mr. Mehdi, Mr. Neil, Ms. Stella as well as Mr. Prashant, Mr. Rasul and Mr. Juma, who always welcomed us personally, provided us with various drinks and always tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible and to give us a feeling of "home far from home". Thank you all very much, as well as Ms. Ish from customer relations. We would also not like to forget the very good and broad breakfast offer at Les Cuisines, which ranged from international over Arabic, French to Chinese (incl. a daily freshly cooked porridge/oatmeal). Many thanks also to the entire team at Les Cuisines. Conclusion: The Sofitel Dubai Downtown is an impressive 5 star hotel in classic style and has a very personal service of a highly motivated, dedicated and competent service team. Thank you very much for the wonderful days! We can therefore recommend the hotel without any hesitation and will be happy to come here again. +++++ Here are a few further tips for future guests of the hotel: 1) For the metro, buy the Nol-Card Gold, is only slightly more expensive, but almost always offers seats in the first / last cabin of the train. The trip from the airport to the hotel costs only 10 AED and is very convenient. 2) Visit of the Sky View Obervatory in the "Address Sky View" Hotel with direct access from the metro station Burj Khalifa; possibility to slide on a glass plate in 212m height; offers a great view on the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Mall and the whole surrounding area 3) When checking out do not choose the option to pay in home currency but in AED, otherwise a fee of 5.99% will be charged.…

The interiors of the entrance and the rooms are tastefully designed and there are a lot of amenities in the hotel to make the stay comfortable and fun. The area is perfect, just next to the metro station, the mall and the Burj Khalifa. The staff is amazing! During breakfast, everybody smiles and make lovely interactions / conversations. The room cleaning are doing a very good job with all the details, Winnie came by to check if everything was alright after cleaning the room. The lobby staff is very welcoming and cheerful. Wilson, the hotel driver, offered to bring us to the Jetski accommodation while we were looking for an Uber. He and was an amazing driver, took a nice route and told us about the neighborhoods. Great conversations, friendly and helpful. After entering the jetski place, he quickly checked in with us to see if we were okay. We felt very safe and had a great time. In the lobby we visited the tour organizer for a desert safari. Very convenient and helpful. We have only positive stories about this hotel!…

The stay at Sofitel was exceptional to say the least. The staff were fantastic and they contributed to it.
