Brunch Al Qasr. For me this used to be the king of brunches (I must have been 20 times). Now sadly, it’s an anaemic version of its former self. There is much less choice in foods and drink, and it’s much more expensive. I’ll give you an example, in the ‘Chinese food section” you had to wait for rice or noodles!? The size of the workstation was maybe 2m x 1m. There was nothing! There were no vegetables at the roast meat and Yorkshire pudding station. It was always a tad expensive, but you got what you paid for. The drinks package included Prosecco. That’s now been split out into another price band. No more ice sculptures- it doesn’t feel special anymore. Don’t waste your money- try the Buddha Bar- much more upbeat experience.

Hotel's Favorite
SPECIAL RECOGNITION: Waleed (Arboretum) and Sanya (Al Qasr beach) - two special people, seemingly very genuine, deserving of all the prosperity that comes there way. Thank you for making our stay so special - Waleed with our kids was something to behold, he & they shared a special bond during the stay and Sanya couldn't do enough for us during our stay - very special. Because of these two primarily, we want to return same time in 2022. We stayed from 15th December through to 26th December in an Arabian Deluxe room (city line view - which was beautiful btw...better than sea view I'd surprisingly say) at the Al Qasr hotel, part of the Jumeriah group of hotels on that lovely stretch of man-made beach :) shared with The Address (new hotel yet to be completed), JBH, Burj Al Arab, Al Nasseem, Mina Al'Salam and so on. The stay was brilliant - we, like all of us, needed a true holiday away from our country (UK) and wanted two things, sun & service. Dubai and especially Al Qasr, did not disappoint. We have 2 x young kids. This hotel, in fact stretch of hotels, caters for singles, couples, business and families alike and somehow manage to do it in a way that everyone is happy it seems. Lots of space, lots of options - spoilt with the same consistent attentive service throughout the large resort. For our family, this was a great stay. We used Sinbad's kids' club most days - limited to 2-hours so the parent guilt doesn't set in - it allowed for the parents to get 2-hours of beach walks and unhindered sun (I went to Emirates Mall one of the days in that time which is 5 mins away by taxi) and more importantly the kids to enjoy themselves. We were nervous our kids wouldn't take to it as we hadn't done a kids club before.....they loved it. No hanging on to us, not even goodbyes - just straight in from second 1. Astonishing. The ratio of carers to kids was high and the creativity (as much as exercise) the kids experienced was immense. Front of house & concierge were both very accomodating - we came off the back of a night flight (the kids hadn't slept....so yeh, scene set right) - Al Qasr front of house managed to find us a room but I will say we weren't expecting it; it's rare in Dubai that rooms are available before the 1-3pm time period, so maybe we got very lucky. We were super impressed and very grateful none the less as the kids were stretched the most they'd ever been. The food - I could do a review on this all in itself but aside from Pheng He's which was the only restaurant to disappoint (will explain) - everything else was truly great. Due to covid we needed to eat breakfast each day in either Aboretum or French Riveira restaurants, which are Al Qasr's. This did NOT feel like a restriction, both were brilliant. Aboretum with international buffet everyday and it's own bakery and French Riviera was Al A Carte service...both highly recommended. Quality undeniably high quality. Each meal during rest of days was split across all the beaches and restaurants shared by the other hotels. #variety RECOMMENDATION: do half-board minimum, more if you can. Oh and also, kids under 4 get food for free from the kids menu....they do NOT tell us this voluntarily at front desk which was an annoyance on the 2nd to last day of our stay otherwise we would have done a lot more of that for the kids and save a lot of money. The kids menu's are great, big portions and for all little pallets, they loved it. On Pheng He's experience, I booked a special outdoor table for our wedding anniversary and instead of putting us in the obvious place with the view of Burj Al Arab, they put us around back with a view of a bridge a palm trees. An oversight on their part. It was our second to last dinner during our stay and meant to be our most special. No biggy but, disappointing given the notice I'd given the team. All in all - we're regular's at this Jumeirah stretch of hotels for a reason and this holiday exceeded our expectations. This was our first time at Al Qasr and we will stay they again, same time, in 2022 and probably include New Years Eve. I just wish I hadn't booked all these stays with Jumeirah over the years via travel agencies as I'd have a lot of loyalty points with them by now. Frankly the deals are cheaper via agencies though sadly. Thank yo Al Qasr, you were great. Highly recommended. Please look after Waleed and Sanya.

Amazing holiday and stay in this wonderful hotel. The staff are so attentive and genuinely want to contribute to you having the best experience. We have so many positives to say about our stay that I am sure many of my friends will visit in the next year. Our food was lovely in the different restaurants and the service was just so friendly (the restaurant manager spent about 10 mins talking to us one day and at the end he asked our room number only to have flowers sent within a couple of hours- different class) Thank you for making our first trip to Dubai one to remember for all the right reasons, oh and it won’t be our last

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Al Qasr Hotel. Checking in on a weekday is a good decision since it's not crowded. Ahmed welcomed us warmly and Monalisa assisted and explained well the facilities and activities that we can do. Much appreciation to Room Supervisor Mahmoud for giving us a room with a great view of the Burj Al Arab. Daniel, Chandra, Marouf of room service were very helpful especially when we requested to have separate beds. The turndown service was also quick and seamless. We had trouble streaming our phone on the TV and so Mr. Jagdish from IT assisted. Polina of Guest Relations Palace Lounge was polite and nice too. Many thanks as well to our buggy service assistance from Russel and Lalith. Overall, it was a relaxing and fantastic experience and the service is exceptional. When they found out that we were celebrating a promotion, we even received a bouquet of flowers and chocolates which are very much appreciated. Keep up the exceptional service and we look forward to be back soon.

We have returned from holiday feeling happy and relaxed after being thoroughly spoilt and pampered by the great staff at Al Qasr. Can't think of one thing that could be improved on. All thanks to all the staff who cannot do enough to make a stay at the hotel a real pleasure. Always so happy and welcoming. Thank you Al Qasr and look forward to our next visit.

Stayed September 2022. Room 521. Junior Ocean Suite. (Club/Palace Lounge access). Beautiful Hotel. No idea why it is so far down the 'rankings' on TripAdvisor. Room immaculate. Service in all areas superb. With booking a Suite you have access to the French Riviera A-la -carte restaurant on the beachfront for breakfast option. The service and quality here is as good as we have had in Dubai. Palace Lounge breakfast was good, but not on a par with French Riviera. Pool massive, plenty of sunbeds , as there also were on the beach. Sea was a clear blue and sand much better than you get on the man made, quite gritty, Palm. Evening meals in buffet Arboretum were very good with tremendous personal service (my wife requires Gluten Free meals) from Waleed and Chefs Mazen, Wong and Furkhan. They all took time to ensure my wife knew exactly what she could have and would cook to order if required. Waleed and Mazen also prepared a surprise 3 course meal for us for our last evening and we didn't have to get out of our seats - exemplary personal service. Palace/Club Lounge very good but not as good food offerings/location as Raffles The Palm (which also offers superb gourmet lunch free) Quick mention to Humayun on beachfront who personally ensured each day we had top quality service/attention - outstanding. All staff were excellent to be fair. Grounds very well kept and Abras, buggies a plenty. Overall a top quality 5 Star resort and wouldn't hesitate to return. If affordable (this hotel is somewhat expensive compared to most), a Suite with access to French Riviera for breakfast recommended. An amazing and wonderful stay in a beautiful Hotel

We had originally booked Jumeriah Beach Hotel but agreed to the move to Al Qasr because of building works. So pleased we did. This is a fabulous hotel. It is all beautifully designed and maintained. The rooms were spacious and with everything we could need. Plentiful toiletries and drinks, replenished daily. Housekeeping did a great job keeping our rooms clean and tidy (despite my two teenage girls ability to make a mess at every opportunity). They left us lovely little treats each evening. Getting around the resort was super easy by buggy or Abra so no need to walk in the heat. Resort has a variety of pools you can use; our favourite was the adults infinity pool on the beach. Access to wild wadi was a bonus, buggy takes you straight there, ask to pick up towels on the way and once there use the separate entry line for hotel guests; we never queued to get in. All the staff at this hotel were fantastic, but I have to give a special mention to Ashu at breakfast. He looked after us so well and we all looked forward to seeing him each morning so were sad to have missed him on our last day. The location of the hotel and the ease of getting taxis meant this was a great spot for seeing the sights in Dubai. We loved our holiday at Al Qasr and would definitely look to stay here again.

Amit from Housekeeping made the bed decorations very very cute and in made me very happy. For the dinner we went to la Tortuga, the team made me feel special, especially big thanks to Sofia. This hotel is amazing, its in the form of an Arab palace style design. Magnificent royal type entrance and beautifyl lobby. Probably one of the best hotels in Dubai with its views, beach and style. The hotel room we got 532 had lush views of the canal and palm trees and sea. We got to see the amazing sunset from this room. The half board food at the buffet and a la carte was great, and you get to use all the madinat hotel services there and eat there too as part of the half board option. The hotel housekeeping and front welcome staff were excellent. Now the negative points: For a family with young kids 1 and 3 it get really really tough to get the pushchair and all pool and beach items to the pool area and beach. This is because there so many stairs to go up and down. Maybe al naseem is better as there is no crossings or steps to struggle with. The half board downside is that the drinks are not included, other hotels like Atlantis have this included. So you can end up paying around £30 or £40 for drinks if you use them for a family. Which is not good for a supposedly already paid experience. The Fayrooz lounge is not included in the half board, im sure it used to be in the past. Which lets the hotel experience down. Also you cant use othe Jumeirah pool services like zabeel Saray hotel as they charge you to do so. It did not used to be like this. The paid items like food and shisha are extortinately expensive. Shisha costs starting from £48! Ice creams with 2 or 3 small scoops for kids costs £10 at Fayrooz lounge. So to fully utilise Al Qasr and Madinat hotels you have to keep paying lots of high prices for basic items. So for these negative points i will likely look to to other hotels where i can use all its services and products freely without worrying paying too much on top.

From reservations, Nanette & Sophie were helpful and accommodating to our requests. Upon arrival, we were met by Ahmed with a warm welcome and handled by Lisa checking in with ease. Daniel helped us with our luggage and made sure they are delivered to the rooms in time. Mahmoud made sure we get a room with the view of the iconic Burj Al Arab and went out of his way to show the room himself. Truly an amazing gesture of excellent customer service. Our housekeeping needs were handled well by team leader Ziaul with Chandra, Govind and Maruf who did a perfect turndown service. E-butler service is very effective and Abishek is the person behind all the Whatsapp messages requests and are handled in a quick manner. Breakfast was amazing with lots of options and handled well by Lory & Mylen, Ashu & Victoria as well. As we transferred next day to Al Masyaf, Amrith made sure that our luggage was handled properly and transferred to the new room. Overall our stay was time exceptionally well spent with Jumeirah hotels. Hats of to the amazing team of Jumeirah Al Qasr and keep up the excellent service truly worth remembering by your guests! Will be back for more of these experiences. Kudos!
