Traveled in 2018 during the Eid holidays. The staff was cooperative. Good massage center at the 7th floor. Many entertainment clubs are on the mezzanine floor. Near to Dubai metro station. Bit expensive as compared to other hotels.

A group of five of us stayed at the Orchid for 3 nights at the end of February 06. We had all been to a wedding in India and were looking for a few days to chill before returning home. We were a mixed group of males and females and of ages.
We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. The hotel has 3 nightclubs all based on the First Floor and they are all open till the early hours of the morning. We had rooms on both the 4 and 5 floors and 4 of the party required ear plugs to ensure a good night sleep.
The breakfast buffy is very basic and is served in Cindy's Phillipino Night Club. Interesting having breakfust under ultra violet lights and sitting with people in their night clothes.
All things considered if you are looking for a hotel close to the airport for 1 or 2 nights then this hotel is okay.
However we are sure that if you search the web you will find nicer and more reasonably priced hotels. Our rooms cost approx £90/night including breakfast.
We intend to return to Dubai but will look for a better hotel next time.

Rent was economical,breakfast buffet was good, reception staff was uncooperative, waiters and bell boys and house keeping was excellent. Night club and bar are very noisy and won't let you sleep if you are in the second floor or third. Best choice is top floor. But it has a massage CENTER and brothel on this floor. The roof top swimming pool is just a big tank but just ok. No WIFI any where. Furniture is old but as compare able to room rent it's ok. Not and never recommended for older couples or families who are religious or are offended at the sight of prostitutes who frequent the hotel and bar. Yes one plus point it is only 900 meters from metro.

The Staff were amazing, very friendly and very pleasant. The Hotel is very clean, aircon amazing because it was very hot outside. Imanman, the doorman always had a smile friendly and was very helpful. Everyone wore masks. Housekeeping, you only had to ask and they would get it for you, Reception was very helpful when I needed to order food, language barrier. Overall very Excellent service.

Being a hotelier myself, I expect everything to be perfect. Arrived at the hotel at 9am, checked with the reception if early check in is possible, same has been provided after 1hour. During my arrival i asked the receptionist if last day breakfast can be taken on my day of arrival, she said yes and than when I checked in after 1 hour she said breakfast is close and cannot be provided. I was very much disappointed ☹️
After requesting the receptionist so much, finally she checked with Mr. Sachin - Operation Manager only after his approval i got my breakfast. (Thank you Mr. Sachin for your hospitality)

Great place. Awesome service. Mr. Roshan Koli, Aniket Gawde, Pranay and Romeo provided excellent service on two days 7-8 Feb. 2022. Would recommend them for a reward for their exemplary service. Well done.

location is okay walking distance from metro.
first time i have encountered receptionist shouts at guest and very rude staff, not recommended to stay here.

No you can have Metro from Al Riga Metro Station. it's cheaper and comfortable mode of travel in Dubai.
