Pros: Location is good, Metro station is close and plenty of Taxis, being in the main road. Near to creak and Deira... so easy to visit the Old Dubai or Gold Souq areas. Pakistani "Halim" Restaurant was good and cheap. Plenty more late night eateries uptil 12 AM at night. Next to Meena Bazaar so shopping freaks paradise. Dubai Museum...

The room was very basic, it was clean, interesting area to be in. Found some cheap eat places in neighbor hood, delicious Indian food. Friendly staff, breakfast was include, they don't cater to westerners, very dissappointed. I asked for a quite room, so they put me in a room next to a small construction site :(

This hotel is very basic saying that it is exceptionally clean ie. sheets and towels were changed every day. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was okay. This hotel is geared to its large amount of Indian guests (97%), the breakfast reflects this, although there is food for the Europeans also ie. Eggs, Beans and Toast every day....

Ok, so my review will sound very snobbish, but it is honest and will indicate what to expect. The hotel is situated in the Meena Bazaar area of Bur Dubai, which is a densely Indian-populated area. Therefore, I would say 95% of the guests are of Indian origin. Absolutely fine, no problem with that. The hotel itself is a very...

We stayed there for a week in December 2016. Good service by the staff and a great location. Bus station and ferry is near by. Breakfast was also good. But Swimming pool was very small and very deep. Overall we are happy with the stay.

Staying in The Creek

Neighborhood Profile
The Creek
The smell of frankincense hangs thick and heavy in the air, waves lap gently at jetties, and market traders call to passing tourists. The creek, originally the place where pearl boats docked and left on missions to uncover jewels from the deep, is where the city really began. The Al Fahidi District on the Creekside is one of the oldest heritage sites in Dubai, easily recognizable with its iconic wind towers, the original air conditioning. Home to the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and the Dubai Museum, the old buildings also house a range of cafes, shops and art galleries. Often called “the real Dubai,” this is a wonderful place to lose yourself before catching an abra across the creek to the spice souk, where your senses will be overwhelmed with tastes, smells, and sounds.
