It took 3 hours to check in so we lost 3 hours of our day. The receptionists were nervous, couldn't speak English well so we also had problem in communication. We had planed to go to the swimming pool but the pool was off during our visit and no one answered the reason.

Carlton is a good budget hotel but is nowhere near the five star mark that it proclaims. The hotel is clean and offers good basic breakfast. The biggest drawback of the hotel is it’s awkward parking. It’s on the backside of the hotel and is extremely difficult to reach. It is badly maintained and ver smelly.

This hotel was not too far from the airport, which is certainly convenient for ease of access when needed. The entrance when you first walk in is really nice with all the marble and chandeliers, along with the seating area with grand piano! This created a really stunning effect when I first arrived here at this hotel! It’s also located close to a New West Zone Supermarket branch which not only has lots of produce to choose from to bring back and keep in your hotel fridge, but is also open 24 hours a day. It’s also within walking distance to some restaurants that are not too far up and around the corner, was near the Deira Clocktower, and was not far from the Al Rigga MRT station which is great for reaching city center locations and attractions. The room I had was very comfortable, although I actually kept the air conditioning off for a bit of the time as it seemed to get cool quick fast, and then remain cool for much of the time. My room was cleaned everyday, and there was also a fridge so that if you wish to do some shopping at a supermarket, you can bring your good back and leave them for later consumption. Other features at this place are the fitness center, which I used a lot for the purposes of running on the treadmill usually at least once per day, but used the free weights only 1 day since obviously I was there for touring, and didn’t always have lots of time to go. The rooftop pool was decent although yet again, due to the frequent departures for tours and activities, I only went to the pool I think 2 times for the whole duration that I was at the hotel. This hotel did the trick for me while staying the week while in U.A.E and would very much recommend others to stay here as well!…

Over all Good Hotel, Staff is Very cordial, However Bathroom cleaning (House keeping) needs Improvement ! Probably Fittings are aged and needs timely replacement. The kettle in one of our room is having loose connection issues

This is my second time at the Carlton Palace. The hotel has 4 clubs at the mezzanine and unlike other hotels you don't even feel that they are existing. The rooms and corridors are quite and the staff very helpful. Excellent location and very appropriate for families.

I wasn't very sure about the hotel when I booked it initially. But to be honest, I had one of the best stays at your property . I had travelled along my parents and daughter to have a quick visit to Dubai. We stayed there for 3 nights and had a very beautiful time. The rooms are very spacious and tidy. The breakfast was great and had good variety. The reception staff were very professional and special thanks to Victor for assisting us with taxis 🚕. All over, we had fabulous experience, and I would recommend anyone coming to dubai to opt for Carlton Palace Dubai.

Newer hotels have taken the limelight in Dubai, but you can still enjoy a first class experience for a fraction of the cost by staying at the Carlton. The breakfast buffet was fresh and appetizing for multicultural palates. The rooms were clean, and housekeeping services for multi-night stays impeccable. The lobby has the feel of grand, classic opulence. I would definitely stay here again. Staying at the Carlton made me feel like I was rooming without a limited budget.
