Good hotel and location which is close to the city - beach is great. Taxis are cheap so fine getting around to different activities. The only real negatives were some of the staff were chasing payment as soon as you had something. In fact in the hotel fish restaurant a waiter shouted across the restaurant in English to his colleague ‘have they paid’ - and that was the theme on a few occasions. One day we went to the beach so wanted to take 3 towels - the woman was very rude and when I refused to pay a deposit of £250 in cash she laughed at me. I was more than happy to allocate against the deposit on my room or even a credit card - certainly NOT 5 star treatment. So in summary - nice hotel and location but some of the staff need training

From the ambience to the food and hospitality everything was brilliant! This was my first time visiting Taverna and a special shootout to Bismita and Bimla who ensure we were well looked after and special thanks to the Manager Koko who even went the extra mile to present us with some Indian delicacies as complements. I was genuinely so touched with the level of hospitality from an underrated restaurant. This restaurant is definitely worth the price and the food was scrumptious! Especially the grilled prawns and fresh patties. There's a variety to choose from although not expansive but just enough for one to enjoy every dish whole heartedly. I'm definitely coming back for me ans once again would like to thank the wonderful staff Bismita and Bimla and Koko for their super hospitality.…

Dubai Marine Resort & Spa has excellent facilities with exceptional staff. Qaiser and Sagar at the concierge were great and very helpful. Breakfast was great with two waitresses Bismita & Bimala attending with lovely smiles. The standard rooms we stayed in were not very large but great for the price. The views from the windows were not the best, though. Would recommend this hotel for the great service provided by all staff.

We enjoyed a wonderful 5 day stay at this resort. This hotel is different from the many high rise, glitzy Dubai hotels. The accommodation is in small low blocks with cottage style villas. The rooms are a little tired, but are wonderfully clean and comfortable. The staff were wonderful, happy & attentive. I am surprised at some other reviews as our experience was entirely positive. Breakfast is buffet style, with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. ( I didn’t notice any special dietary provisions, but I didn’t ask). The fresh egg station was great with omelettes, fried or scrambled eggs cooked to order. We never had to wait for a table. Each morning we relaxed on a sun bed by the beach or pool, we picked up free beach towels from the club. Later in the day we went of to explore the sites of Dubai. The hotel is well situated to reach all the main areas easily, we used Uber and found this quick and reliable. We had been told to use Careem as it’s cheaper but we found them less reliable. There was a selection of restaurants and nightclubs as well as a spa and gym. These generally seemed quiet but we didn’t use them at night. We had lunch on 2 occasions and were happy with the food and the service. We would love to visit again soon. A little haven of calm amongst the business that is Dubai.…

Barefoot Lounge at Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa situated right beside La Mer is my absolute favorite lounge in Jumeirah. Imagine having a cosy place to chill with the beach view right in front of view while listening to some jazzy music not to mention a violinist who is who’s playing the greatest hits. The food is state of the art culinary and no matter what I order always exceeds my expectations and I am always delighted with my meal. Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite especially Alfonses. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. Kudos to the team!

DXB Marine Beach Resort has been my home for almost 22 years today. Every time I visit Arab Health, I have been staying here just south of the Convention Center. DXB Marine is still a Resort, compared to the larger hotels growing each day and slowly closing in to the left and right. A walk back to the room at night, is lovely and the decorated trees makes one feel being somewhere on an island. Several restaurants are part of the resort, and probably would always chose Al Khayma as my favorite with a superb service! Why not smoke a shisha and look out to the resort or sea? After dinner a nice drink served by either Mr Alphonsos or Mr Blessing! The rooms are a bit like in a Raffles and keep reminding me of old times- beds are comfortable! The only thing that the resort should offer is a breakfast for smokers and non smokers. Sadly, there is no separation, so non smokers may suffer sitting outside and having a late macchiato or a Cappucino… Overall experience is friendly, very much accommodating and Mr Anwer will make sure to help where something is not as anticipated. Had a great stay at this beach resort. Rooms and pool were clean and the beach was nice for a great dip. The front desk guy who checked me in was very nice and accommodating; however, the front desk female, lina or lema, wasn't so nice. During check out she held me there for 10 mins as I watched her work on someone's receipt and passport when I was the only person at the counter and after 5 mins she said okay. I said okay what? she said you're checked out. I had informed her I was waiting on my taxi and she could care less and had this annoying grin on her face that needed to be smacked off, seriously.
