Our stay at JA Beach Resort was truly memorable, and much of that is thanks to the incredible staff, particularly Vidushi at the front of house. From the moment we arrived, Vidushi’s warmth and attentiveness stood out. She went out of her way to make our 3-year-old daughter feel at home, and when our daughter unfortunately fell ill during our stay, Vidushi’s care and empathy were remarkable. She consistently checked in on us, making sure we had everything we needed. Her genuine concern for our daughter’s well-being was deeply appreciated and made a challenging situation much easier to bear.
We also want to extend our gratitude to Murad, the night manager, who showed great empathy during this time. He ensured we felt supported and comfortable, offering assistance whenever needed. It was reassuring to know we were in such capable hands.
Ankush at the front of house was also very helpful throughout our stay. He was always prompt and responsive, ensuring that any requests we had were addressed quickly and efficiently. His calm demeanor added to the overall relaxed atmosphere of the resort.
The food at JA Beach Resort was excellent, with a special mention for the Indian cuisine at Kinara—absolutely delicious! The variety and quality of the meals exceeded our expectations. The resort’s staff were all pleasant and friendly, with a special shout-out to the hardworking housekeeping staff. Although we didn’t catch his name (possibly Victor), the individual/s responsible for room 157 did an outstanding job keeping everything spotless.
We also appreciated the reasonable prices and the convenience of settling everything at checkout, with no need for wristbands or complicated systems. The calm and relaxed environment made it easy to unwind, despite the challenges we faced with our daughter’s illness. Would recommend this resort for families looking for a peaceful, reasonably priced stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. Staff were warm, welcoming and respectful throughout and the food was always freshly cooked and excellent.
Our package was “all inclusive plus” - this meant that :
• buffet breakfast was included and there was extensive choice
• we ate lunch each day at the Captain’s Restaurant near the beach itself and virtually everything on the three course a la carte menu was included. Lots of choice and all excellent. Food came quite quickly but was clearly cooked to order. My partner has some food allergies but they were able to accommodate these and remembered for the next time too.
Special mention to Sai who waited on us several times, was always very friendly and respectful but was also happy to put the effort in to get to know us.
• we ate another three course meal each evening (I put on half a stone in a week!) The Tapira tapas restaurant was not open during our stay and we found the choice of food in the buffet restaurant uninspiring on the one night we tried it. Instead, we ate three times at the Italian restaurant Sette (on the seventh floor) and three times at Republik at the Lake view hotel. All the food in these two restaurants was excellent but it’s important to book in advance.
Special mention to Binay at Sette for organising a special table setting and cake for my partner’s birthday last Monday.
• lots of choice of beer, wine, sparkling wine, cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks, ice creams are included and we found no need to incur any extra costs.
The bar at Sette is really nice, even if you’re not planning to eat there. The rooftop bar Bibe at the Lake View hotel is also really nice. They do food there too but not within the “all inclusive plus” deal.
Incidentally, the Lake View hotel is about half a mile away but you are provided with golf buggy style transportation on request - very civilised!
If you want to eat at the Indian restaurant (Kinara) or Asian restaurant (White Orchid), you’re allowed 150 AED each against the bill but my guess is you’d probably incur another 500 AED above that for food and drink. So we didn’t bother.
Room choice : we asked for a quiet room when we booked and we got one but other couples we met weren’t so fortunate. In particular the Vasco de Garma bar in the main hotel is quite noisy and has an outside terrace so avoid being in a room just above it! Sea view rooms should be safe but are a little more expensive. Deluxe sea view rooms are on the ground floor and have their own sun beds but aren’t in the sun!
Three learning points for the hotel :
• drinks and snacks are not always included in the “all inclusive plus” package - some bars charge and this is only clear if you read all the small print on the documents provided at check-in. This is confusing.
• we checked in at 2.30am and were surprised to find we were pushed into a negotiation with reception as to how much would be reserved on our credit card for extras, even though we didn’t expect to have any. Are you worried that people’s confusion (my point above) may result in an argument about extras at check out? Not a good way to start our experience.
• Every time we ordered food or drink, we had to sign a piece of paper that had a value on it, even though it was included in our deal. Why do you do this? It must cause a lot of unnecessary admin and sometimes you get it wrong - we had to get two incorrect charges removed at check out. Why not simply give all guests on all-inclusive a wristband and then only ask them to sign for genuine extras? This would mean guests would know exactly what to expect at check out so no surprises. It would also cut right back on your admin costs too.

Just one word to describe our experience at JA Beach Hotel: amazing! The hotel is set into a huge resort that includes a golf course, a marina and two small lakes, with many paths that wander in the greenery and allow you to meet with some gorgeous peacocks and even the occasional deer. The place is ideal for families with children and provides a huge range of sports facilities and dynamic activities, but also couples on a romantic retreat like us will find all they need and feel pampered all day long. All the staff are helpful and smiling and go to great lengths to meet all your needs. Our full board package included meals in 3 different restaurants: Ibn Majed, La Fontana and 81. The huge offer of food was quite similar but not exactly the same, so eating in turn in the different places made for a varied and never boring experience. We especially appreciated the wide selection of fruit and vegetables, the roasted meats and fish and the mouth-watering dessert buffet. Our favourite restaurant was 81 for its elegant setting in the Lake View hotel. The sea view rooms are not extremely large but they are tasteful, functional and well equipped, with a nice little balcony overlooking the pools, the marina and the beach. Another feature we were really happy with was the free shuttle bus to downtown Dubai, a really useful and efficient service that allows the residents to enjoy the city at leisure while staying away from its hustle and bustle. We were looking for a relaxing holiday in a quiet luxury environment, so this location was just perfect for us and will certainly choose it again should we return to Dubai.

It was our first time in Dubai and we intuitively chose the right hotel for our stay. Beautiful air-conditioned rooms with comfortable beds and amazing, velvety soft, skin-friendly bed linen. We also loved the generous meal times, which meant you could still eat well if you came back late from an excursion, for example. We got fresh beach towels for the beach and pool loungers every day, and there is a comfortable cushion for each lounger. The staff at the beach and pool are very attentive and courteous and are happy to help turn a lounger over or open a parasol. The entire hotel complex is well maintained around the clock. The pools are very clean and not overly chlorinated. The beach is also very clean. You can move freely around the entire resort and feel welcome everywhere. The little caddies that you can use to drive around the resort are also great. There are even free shuttles that take you to the malls and back to the hotels three times a day. You can do sports on the complex, go for lots of walks and look at the beautiful variety of plants or visit the resort's own animals. The cheeky birds and the free-roaming peacocks and cats in particular are enormously entertaining. We were pleased to see that all the staff seemed satisfied. Every member of staff at the resort that we dealt with was friendly, courteous, always approachable and in a good mood. I would particularly like to highlight Winnie, Uchita and Salman from the IBN Restaurant in the Beach Hotel and the dark-skinned gentleman who tidied/cleaned our room (1st floor, right corridor, left side) (unfortunately I don't know his name). We were particularly impressed by all four members of staff because they have an incomparably warm manner and are extremely friendly and personable. We were a family of 8 who stayed for 8 nights at the JA Beach Hotel in early September, the majority of us had been to the JA on numerous occasions and once again the hotel delivered a quality experience. From the initial booking in at reception in the early hours of the morning until we departed everything was perfect. The sea view rooms were kept clean by the in housekeeping staff and the 2 bottles of water every day were much appreciated given the 42/43 c temperatures. The resort is well maintained especially the gardens with the streams and pools. Every morning we would have an early walk around the resort to the Lake View to build up an appetite for breakfast. The dining at the resort is exceptional, with an excellent choice of restaurants. The Sette was the favourite, closely followed by the White Orchid(the dining allowance on half board of 150 dhs for the White Orchid is insufficient as a main course would exceed this amount). We took breakfast in the Majed and a number of our evening meals. The quality of the food was first class and there was a great choice, especially the desserts. Special mention should be made to Dillip who was so conscientious, welcoming and helpful and always had a smile on his face. All the other staff were great and so polite. The beach and palm tree areas had numerous loungers and parasols which provided a restful place to spend the day. The resort buggies and free shuttle buses to Dubai City were most useful and convenient. All in all another great experience at the JA.

The hotel is excellent, the staff is friendly and courteous. The room is always clean and tidy. There is no crowd on the beach. The water is clean and transparent. The food is varied and tasty. Only one person from the staff speaks Russian. There are 4-5 free Russian TV channels in the room. Two bottles of free drinking water are provided in a double room. Lacks. You must constantly order additionally by phone, or take it from the staff cleaning the floor. Buying water, like buying coffee at a hotel, is expensive. For amateurs and professionals, it is better to buy alcohol in duty free in advance. The hotel is located away from major shopping centers and the metro. You can get there either by taxi or free shuttle from the hotel to the three main shopping centers.

Me and my husband always come over for a staycation at this hotel.
1.) Staff is exceptionally well helpful, we got upgraded to a sea-view room, and since we were celebrating our Anniversary , they even had a small setup for us.
2.) Pool area and Splash park are cleaned from time to time , giving you a nice well hygiene pool to swim in.
3.) Restaurants have a variety of food, especially morning breakfast will leave you confused for choices.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Do not stay here, the buff will tel you we are welcoming valued guests etc etc, you are not valued, you are not even treated like adults. You are not allowed to have a decent glass in your room, thimbles only, and if you leave the restaurant with a drink, you are told to finish it, in front of everyone, and if you ask for the glass, you are told - NO! So I’ve paid over 5000 £ to stay somewhere I am not respected, am aloud to be told off, not allowed a glass, god forbid if you ask for ice, you are given plastic cups only. Also paid,for an upgrade, which we didn’t get, and then asked to pay and extra 100£ per night to have the room we actually booked. This place is ridiculous for the amount you pay, would not recommend, and if you want to have a holiday, as an adult, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE…. Shocking treatment, disgraceful.

We have been your regular hotel guests since 2011! Every November, we come to Dubai and choose Jebel Ali to celebrate our personal holiday - birthday! Among all the restaurants, I would like to especially mention the ibn Majed JA Beach hotel . A wonderful, very spacious and beautiful restaurant with a variety of cuisine and a high level of service. Entrance group: at the entrance you are greeted with radiant smiles and escorted to your table , always make sure that there is no queue and it is comfortable . Service: special attention is paid to the cleanliness of the table, instant cleaning, assistance with any request, very quick order and ready result. Friendly waiters, pleasant atmosphere .
Cuisine: a variety of dishes, cuisines of different countries, wonderful chefs who respond to any request and try to do everything that depends on them to fulfill the request. There are always two types of soup , a lot of meat hot dishes , side dishes , a lot of various greens and endless sweets in their various manifestations ! In a word, the restaurant will not let you get hungry and will satisfy any of your requests, desires and needs, and everything is accompanied by a wonderful atmosphere.
Rajitha oversees and is responsible for all this complex and well-coordinated work and organization, words of gratitude to whom we want to express! All these years of our stay at this hotel and daily use of the Ibn Majed restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner were incredibly comfortable. You can safely say and call the situation homely , when they know all your preferences , treat you with care and attention , take care of and even treat you when you catch a cold !

All in all this hotel/resort was excellent and the all inclusive plus (AI+) package was well worth the money.
Pros: - The food and drinks we had across the resort were exceptional - wide range of luxury meals and premium drinks. We were constantly full and impressed - you do need to book the a la carte places so remember this! - The service by all staff at all cafes, bars and restaurants was impeccable and the housekeeping teams were lovely and accommodating. - The resort runs 3x daily shuttle buses to the malls which offer free trip to downtown but be aware it can take 1.5hrs in peak traffic so factor this in. - The latest bar is open until 12am which means there is no excessive noise but still offers a chance for a late night drink. - Plenty spaces to sun bathe and no issue getting beds. - Beautiful resort with lots of activities (some at an extra cost) and lovely areas to relax, walk and enjoy! - My partner had a spa treatment and this was very well priced and he said it was excellent. - THE NYE GALA! WOW. Just WOW. We spent last NYE at another all inclusive and the JA beach set up was 10000x better. IT was well organised, fun and one to remember!!
Cons: - The main issue for us was that our AC broke and although it got fixed promptly is was still faulty (however we were leaving a day after so never bothered to raise this again but I do believe it would have been dealt with if we had raised it). - On our last night a wedding was being hosted which we were not made aware off and this was very loud quite late into the night which ruined our last night - I raised this on check out and the receptionist was not interested and just ushered/rushed me away. - Similarly, our room on floor 1 was right about the late night bar (which was only only open till 12am) however the outside terrace could get very loud with people, chairs being dragged around, bouncing balls etc. This did only occur 3x on our stay but if it had been more I would have raised with reception and imagine it might be worse in peak season. - The AI+ package doesn't include any drinks or food in the room, even to take from the cafes etc. Which would have been nice to have whilst getting ready etc. of an evening. Similarly, we arrived at 3am and it would have been nice to have had a small snack or drink (we did have water) to have in the room at this time for free as we had paid AI+. - Across the bars/cafes/restaurants what is on offer and part of AI+ does vary so be aware when you order as what is included at one bar might not be at another.
All in all, the pros WELL outweigh the cons (and I wouldn't even call them cons, just minor concerns!). We will defo be back for NYE! Thank you.
