The JA Beach Hotel receives accolades for its clean, comfortable rooms with impressive views, although readiness and noise can detract from the experience. While the hotel's cleanliness and range of amenities, including beach access and dining options, are often lauded, guests have noted that the 'all inclusive' packages can be misleading.
Service is generally commended for its professionalism, but not without some inconsistencies. The serene location is a highlight, though the tranquil atmosphere is occasionally marred by loud events, particularly on weekends.

Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favorite
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. Staff were warm, welcoming and respectful throughout and the food was always freshly cooked and excellent.
Our package was “all inclusive plus” - this meant that :
• buffet breakfast was included and there was extensive choice
• we ate lunch each day at the Captain’s Restaurant near the beach itself and virtually everything on the three course a la carte menu was included. Lots of choice and all excellent. Food came quite quickly but was clearly cooked to order. My partner has some food allergies but they were able to accommodate these and remembered for the next time too.
Special mention to Sai who waited on us several times, was always very friendly and respectful but was also happy to put the effort in to get to know us.
• we ate another three course meal each evening (I put on half a stone in a week!) The Tapira tapas restaurant was not open during our stay and we found the choice of food in the buffet restaurant uninspiring on the one night we tried it. Instead, we ate three times at the Italian restaurant Sette (on the seventh floor) and three times at Republik at the Lake view hotel. All the food in these two restaurants was excellent but it’s important to book in advance.
Special mention to Binay at Sette for organising a special table setting and cake for my partner’s birthday last Monday.
• lots of choice of beer, wine, sparkling wine, cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks, ice creams are included and we found no need to incur any extra costs.
The bar at Sette is really nice, even if you’re not planning to eat there. The rooftop bar Bibe at the Lake View hotel is also really nice. They do food there too but not within the “all inclusive plus” deal.
Incidentally, the Lake View hotel is about half a mile away but you are provided with golf buggy style transportation on request - very civilised!
If you want to eat at the Indian restaurant (Kinara) or Asian restaurant (White Orchid), you’re allowed 150 AED each against the bill but my guess is you’d probably incur another 500 AED above that for food and drink. So we didn’t bother.
Room choice : we asked for a quiet room when we booked and we got one but other couples we met weren’t so fortunate. In particular the Vasco de Garma bar in the main hotel is quite noisy and has an outside terrace so avoid being in a room just above it! Sea view rooms should be safe but are a little more expensive. Deluxe sea view rooms are on the ground floor and have their own sun beds but aren’t in the sun!
Three learning points for the hotel :
• drinks and snacks are not always included in the “all inclusive plus” package - some bars charge and this is only clear if you read all the small print on the documents provided at check-in. This is confusing.
• we checked in at 2.30am and were surprised to find we were pushed into a negotiation with reception as to how much would be reserved on our credit card for extras, even though we didn’t expect to have any. Are you worried that people’s confusion (my point above) may result in an argument about extras at check out? Not a good way to start our experience.
• Every time we ordered food or drink, we had to sign a piece of paper that had a value on it, even though it was included in our deal. Why do you do this? It must cause a lot of unnecessary admin and sometimes you get it wrong - we had to get two incorrect charges removed at check out. Why not simply give all guests on all-inclusive a wristband and then only ask them to sign for genuine extras? This would mean guests would know exactly what to expect at check out so no surprises. It would also cut right back on your admin costs too.
Overall a great time, very relaxing - thanks very much

September 2019 was the first time I had been to the JA Beach Hotel. Everything was awesome. Room 127 was a delux that overlooked the gardens towards the sea. A special mention for the pool and towel attendants who seemed to know who you were after only one day and brought towells straight out to your favourite sun longer and location. The staff in the pub/bar were absolutely awesome, engaging fully with you and making you time in there extremely enjoyable. All staff across the hotel were truely friendly and professional, with nothing being too much trouble.
The restaurants and food were quite fantastic, especially White Orchis and Shooters.
We enjoyed the trip so much we have booked a longer visit again this September, All Inclusive in a delux room, and the holiday cannot come quickly enough.

We enjoyed our week overall in this hotel but there are a few things they need to iron out. Our room wasn’t set up for our children on arrival late at night but we thought we’d just have a drink while they sorted it. Turns out you’re not allowed to take children into the bar at JA Beach which quite frankly is ridiculous for a family resort. We had to sit outside and it was cold. Over the week (remember it’s half term) there were more people sat outside than inside as everyone had kids. The lady serving there is lovely but must walk miles having to bring everything outside. Luckily it got a bit warmer but the hotel really need to resolve this. There also isn’t any entertainment, well not that we found. We got sent on a wild goose chase one night on the hotel golf buggies trying to track down the kids disco... every member of staff we spoke to said it was in a different area. We gave up. For a hotel that’s far out from the main city, it really needs more evening entertainment. You need to get up early to get a sunbed near the pool as the pool staff allow everyone to save beds with towels. They said you’re allowed 90 minutes with a towel on before they remove it. By 8am most of the beds had been saved.
The food is fantastic, the rooms are good and well serviced. The staff are very friendly. There was a bit of confusion over the All Inclusive and it’s tiresome having to sign for everything when you’re not going to pay for it... even if your kid goes to get an ice cream you have to wait for a print out and then sign it. A card to show or wrist bands would make it more simple and the paper being wasted is pretty bad. The pool and beach areas are beautiful, very smart and all very well staffed and clean. Our kids loved the paddle boarding and did it most days. We would probably return if we knew kids would be accommodated better in the evenings.

Response from Mark Irwin, Other at JA Beach Hotel
Responded Mar 18, 2020
Dear copperkets, Thank you for choosing to stay at our resort and i am delighted that yoru overall impression was very positive. We do have some areas where parents and children can enjoy time together, but when it comes strictly to just a bar, Dubai regulations are strict and children are not allowed in side as per the law. We do provide other options and based on some of your other feedback, we need to get the word out there to a guests in a more seamless way. In regards to the All Inclusive, there is a reason as to why we ask guests to sign, as it is a critical process that ensures we can answer any queries that may arise later on. I wish to assure you that we have reviewed our kids entertainment in the evenings, so this is improved somewhat since your visit. Subsequently, i do hope we will be able to welcome you back in a more positive light. With best regards, Mark Irwin Resort Manager

Hotel is the one of the end of Dubai. Its location makes its hard and difficult to accept its all good and bad sides. First it has amazing beach. Its clean. Fully available. Always place for relax. Always place for fun in sea. Also pools are available all day without need to book any place.
Hotel is far away from center, so its more for people who just need sea / pool / and sunbed. If anyone wants to visit and see things / places / city walk for sure its not good place. Taxi costs about 200 dirhams both sides (closest place is like 24 km form hotel). So if You sum up price of hotel and taxi its better to tae some in city center.
Bad thing is 3 or 4 kinds of all inclusive systems. Some systems includde something some not. not easy and it makes You may probably need to pay extra for some things.
Bad thing is the hotel service in main restaurant that is included and the service at reception. Speed an incompetence of the stuff is like You have to wiat for any drink as lon as you have already finished eating. drink i mean no cocktails - just water / wine / tea or coffee. Stuff is not well prepared is chaotic, slow and have its HUMORS?!?!?!? Some Stuff is nice other should fine a new job they just don't understand what they do.
The reception staff also forgets to arrange things that people order. Its not a good attitude to have concierge that forgets?
Bad thing is that hotel search mini pays for multi things just to get the money. E.g. You cannot take glass o f water or coffee from the restaurant and drink it in room or lobby. You have to order and pay extra, Really? is it so expensive and extraordinary? Its just water / tea / coffe.
Good thing is the pool / india restaurant (extra payable) / Captain Rest. (extra payable).
Other words - things i paid for were good or super ! everything all included was good or average.

My husband and I checked in to JA Beach Hotel to celebrate our quick honeymoon. Eventhough we booked last minute, we managed to get a prepared room. During our checked in, we were assisted by Mohamed who is very friendly and we can sense the hospitality vibes from him (my husband and I are hotelier too).
Sofia from reception is great! She's lovely. Not to forget the buggy driver, Ganga who is excellent as well in his scope. Overall room was super amazing. Thank you for the honeymoon amenities! This is something that I didn't expect too much because we did not stay for so long but we were treated same as others.
But, there are something that need to improve. Such as My husband has called operator to check on our entitlement discount but was answered by a lady that we has to go to EVERY restaurant and bar to check. This is the moment I got upset even before we checked in.
We also went to JA Lake View for a lunch and drinks at the pool and it was awesome. The staff are so helpful.
After that, we went to La Fontana pool and continue having drinks. Bill came out and no discount, I explained that we had special discount to the bartender but he kept denied. High chances I probably won't get pissed off if the bartender says that he would check it first but he just kept telling us that he will post the bill to room charge without discount.
I had to go all the way around to reception to re-confirm. Ayman from reception is doing really great, he assisted us by calling the bartender to confirm about the discount bill. (Thanks, Ayman!)
We had breakfast buffet at 8am, food was great. Except just that we have wait quite a while at hostess stand because no one is there and also has to wait for about 5 minute for someone to assist us at buffet counter (since we are not allow to touch the buffet tong) to get the food. We would understand if the restaurant is busy but there was only few table occupied. Coffee was served cold, and taste is a bit weird.
We called operator and asked Room service to clear our dirty plates and they came after an hour.
Except of those, I would say that JA has a very great seaview and a beautiful scenery! It just so comfy and super elegant. I would love to come again in future!

+1
Stayed here over the weekend, the hotel is lovely, and it has been refurnished and it looks amazing. The rooms are cosy, stylish, very clean and most the rooms have an incredible view of the beach and tall palm trees, this is the room I had and it was just beautiful to watch the sunset from your balcony.
The staff were fantastic during my stay, from the receptionist to the pool bar tenders, all staff were providing top class customer service.
There are so many water sports for guests to do, spa treatments and plenty of food options to choose from. I had dinner at Phoenicia the food was delicious, and once again the staff treated us really well. And for breakfast I went to the buffet at the Ibn Majed restaurant, there was so much food to choose from and everything was extremely tasty. Overall I was really happy with my stay I honestly cannot wait to stay there again, I highly recommend it if you're looking for a beach getaway.

Fabulous Hotel, wonderful location, great food, lovely staff. The resort is vast, lots of wildlife and greenery. There is something for everybody here. Don’t expect everywhere and all restaurants to be open though. A few restaurants were still closed due to Covid, and the main pool and Ibn Restaurant were closed as the Rajasthani Royals Cricket team were staying and they had these area’s for their ‘Bubble’. Initially we were unhappy that we were unable to use the pool, but the beach is right there, and the Captain’s Bar on the beach more than made up for it! The Sports Bar became our firm favourite. Eldridge the Manager was very professional and made sure we had everything we needed. Fascinating to meet Darlington and Sabina the Harris Hawk, they go down to the beach bar everyday to keep the local crows in order while guests are enjoying their lunch.
We took advantage of the free shuttle bus that goes to the local shopping mall only 15 minutes away. There is a train station at this mall and we took the train into Dubai to go to the Dubai Mall, Aquarium and Burj. We did a desert Jeep safari too, we booked it online with Premium Heritage; They picked us up from the hotel, there was no dune bashing, but a fantastic tour through the desert in vintage land rovers, with BBQ etc.
JA Resort is probably an hour from Dubai, but this is not a problem, everywhere is accessible with ease. Taxi’s are always available. We felt completely safe for our entire trip. We will definitely be back to JA Resort, we loved it, and thoroughly recommend it ⭐️

Having visited Dubai more than 10 times over the past few years, I have stayed in a number of 5 star resorts, however, I must say that JA is number 1.
The breakfast is fantastic, plenty of choice to suit all dietary requirements and the serving staff were excellent and very attentive when clearing and serving drinks.
The pool and beach were lovely, with the added bonus of a pool bar and plenty of choice for lunch in nearby restaurants.
Having visited last time as a family of 6, there was plenty to do in terms of activities. Crazy golf really was an added bonus for us, and something we played daily before retiring to the beach bar for refreshments.
Our favourite restaurant was Divas - the food was the best we had ever had in Dubai and the service was once again excellent. We were driven there and back in a buggy and the driver was very prompt when collecting us.
The hotel is very, very clean and the staff really do make the whole customer experience exceptional and they are ultimately the reason why we will return in 3 weeks time to celebrate my mother’s 60th birthday - and we cannot wait. We have recommended this hotel to many of our friends who have also stayed and share our opinion on just how amazing this hotel really is. Cannot wait to see you at at JA very soon!

My husband and I have visited this resort on and off over the last 15 years and unfortunately this will be our last. Hotel very tired and dated.
Our favourite restaurant Shooters was closed as was our favourite pool for the IPL cricket team. Had we had known this prior to coming we would have stayed elsewhere.
No atmosphere in the only bar in the evenings, not sure where everyone goes after the sun goes down. Same entertainment every night in the form of 2 female singers that move around the resort on a nightly basis!
JA advertise 25 world class eateries although we had a choice of 5/6 so not sure where the rest are! the Indian and Anchor bar were also closed. We went Sports bar one night but the service was bad as they were run ragged with another private booking.
The food we did have a Sette, White Orchid and Captains was lovely but doesn't make up for the shortfalls everywhere else.
We visited the new Lake hotel for the pool and lunch one day - one family with screaming kids managed to clear the top pool of other guests with no attempt by staff to ask them to control their kids. Had buffet lunch there at 81 - not good.
No bottled water in the room or at the pool, just bottled 'filtered' tap water which did not taste good! I know we all have to do our bit but there are alternatives! Also no turn down service or mini bar - thought this was all covid related but at our next hotel at the palm all these services were normal.
I did raise our issues with a manager but she wasn't really concerned or bothered us and just offered us a late check out. Felt very let down after waiting 2 years for this break.
Sad that our little bit if paradise is no more.

This was our second stay at the hotel. We are very impressed with the hotel and facilities, we were on the ultra all inclusive package which I would thoroughly recommend, the prices at the hotel would be incredibly expensive otherwise. Food in all restaurants was really good, we particularly enjoyed the captain’s restaurant as this is right on the beachfront and a nice informal atmosphere. There was a good choice of wine included.
We tried all of the restaurants at least once and the Kinara was well worth paying a bit extra for. Service good throughout. We used the sunset bar during the day and this was excellent, Raju the barman was very friendly and always very helpful, we particularly enjoyed the special sangria he made for us. I would also like to thank the sunbed attendant who worked with Raju, sorry I can’t remember his name (he is from Sri Lanka) he was very attentive and made sure we were comfortable every day. We had lunch at the anchor bar many times which serves lovely traditional Levantine food. Prem the waiter was also excellent.
A couple of things that stop me rating as 5 :
We had problems booking the restaurants when we first arrived and kept being sent to the wrong desk to book, this was resolved the next day
The hotel had a large corporate function running for two days which meant they closed the vasca da gama bar, I thought this was unfair on the guests as this could have been accommodated elsewhere without disrupting guests. Also as our room was above the bar the noise was unacceptable until the early hours of the morning, especially considering the bar usually closed at midnight. The manager did apologise.
Room was fine and very clean but a bit tired, we had to keep wedging the shower screen over the bath to avoid flooding the room.
We would definitely stay again

Ultra all Inc covers all hotel restaurants but not white orchid or kinara where you get a credit towards your meal the drinks were extra too in these restaurants when we visited.
No it is not there. At least for the suite I was in, it wasn't there.
All inclusive limited, you have got access less than all inclusive plus of course. Affectively may included only some of the restaurants. Not include complimentary free trail with Water Sports (Stand up paddle board, Kayak & Snorkel mask) For more details may have to get hold of the hotel.
