Jumeirah Mina Al Salam garners praise for its spacious and well-appointed accommodations, though a few guests point out the decor could use refreshing. The hotel's cleanliness and luxurious amenities, including beach access and diverse dining options, consistently impress guests. Its prime location offers easy exploration of Dubai's attractions and beach activities. While the atmosphere earns accolades for its grandeur and comfort, opinions on value are split, with some guests mentioning unexpected costs. The service is generally celebrated for being attentive, despite occasional lapses in efficiency.

Our stay at this hotel will leave us a lot of beautiful memories, with a couple of bad experiences, that were mainly not provoked by the hotel facilities or by the personnel of the hotel. Instead, almost everyone tried to ease the negative circumstances and make our stay mostly enjoyable. The location is amazing and you can take for free all day long the abras and buggies to visit the other resorts part of the Jumeirah group and this was very favourable in our health situation. The room had everything for all imaginable needs. Minoli was extremely careful and brought us everything that we asked for and she has often foreseen our needs. The sea water was extremely warm (at least 30 degrees Celsius all week) and the sun lounges sufficient at any given moment of the day. We were at 8 a.m. on the beach as the sea was calm. The food at the Hanaaya restaurant (both breakfast and dinner) was amazing – all tastes were satisfied, especially during the seafood/barbecue theme night. All the waiters were very friendly (especially Alex and Gerts) and they served instantly my wife according to her food allergy and intolerancies (especially Ella and Milumi). At the beach all of the employees were extremely friendly (especially Ashraf, Didar and Yam Jung) and they brought us a lot of towels and water in a special leather box with ice. Affan at the reception was especially professional in all his service. Amanda (the paramedic of the resort) helped my wife with her strained ankle and eased the pain.
At the entrance to the beach there was SPF sun cream 30 and 50, children inclusive,mist-spray for face, glasses-cleaning service, free ice-cream and fruit lollipops. In the room there were constantly at least 2 liters of water. We got as soon as we arrived a clothing drier in the balcony.
At dinner there is tonic water and iced tea for free, for every other drink you had to pay. In comparison, at Kitchen Connection (the buffett restaurant of Jumeirah Beach hotel) and at Zheng He restaurant we had to pay even for water or tea.
For us , Hanaaya was the best location for breakfast and dinner and we enjoyed every bite.
All in all, we warmly recommend this hotel and we wish to return in a very near future.

Was lucky enough to spend 5 days here with my wife, 2 kids and parents. We had 2 rooms on the first floor right next to each other, which were enclosed by a shared front door, worked great for us. The rooms were great, excellent views and very very comfortable beds. Every day our rooms would be refreshed and restocked with coffee, water and toiletries. We had breakfast included which was great, I'd highly recommend opting for breakfast as it really is a great breakfast with a great variety.

With regards to the facilities, the gym is great (24 hours), so are the pools. The Abra boat service is great, getting you from A to B in a lovely way. If you do visit, ask the boat driver just for a tour, you'll get a great view of the entire resort. We spent a lot of time at the Sinbads kids club, the indoor play area and kids swimming pool are great. Kept our two little ones (1.5 and 2.5 years old) entertained. The beach is just amazing, located next to the Burj al Arab, you'll get great views. There are a few games and activities available on the beach which are fun.

The staff here are great, ranging from the doormen to the waiters, really treat you well. I'd definitely recommend staying here, we hope to be back at some point in the future :)

Actually we stayed in Dec 2018 on half board through an Emirates Dubai Stopover package and I'm only getting around to this now but still felt compelled to leave a review for this amazing place. Having stayed in so many hotels in different places, this is the one place that gets it all right - from the property, rooms, pools, beach, dining, service, kids club - everything is as good as it gets. What stood out for me is constantly saying "I can't find anything to complain about" during this stay as I usually can always spot a few things that can be improved. Room was big, spacious with a huge balcony and bathroom, beautifully decorated, great views.

Half board was great to have and the food is amazing and so plentiful. The beauty of this property is that you are able to dine at any of the Jumeirah resorts along the strip of properties that share the beach so every day you can eat breakfast or dinner at a different restaurant - such a unique offering. Half board was really worthwhile as it can get very expensive to dine otherwise. The only thing we didn't like was having to pay so much for bottled water at dinner. The breakfast buffets are incredible with so much high quality, amazing food on offer. our favorite breakfast restaurant was the one in the Jumeirah Mina A'Salam as it offered the most options and had great views.

The beach is also incredible, so clean, directly overlooking the Burj Al Arab, with constant beach side service. Just wish the water in the sea would've been warmer. It was a bit too cold to swim too long in December, next time I'd go when it is warmer. But the pools are also amazing.

All in all, everything is great here. Would highly recommend it and hope I'll have a chance to visit again in future.

Probably the worst experience I’ve had in Madinat Jumeirah. I still remember the days when there was a special person to clean your sunglasses on the beach. Well a lot has changed since then, it has since become a DIY hotel. It all begins at the arrival when after an hours’ wait and 3 trips to the reception you actually have to carry your own luggage to your room.
Every morning you have to sort out your own sun beds and bring yourself some towels on the beach (that’s if your are lucky and there are actually some towels available) otherwise you have about a half hour 40 minute wait for someone to actually help you. They never say no, they just forget about you in about 10 seconds after they said “yes, I will bring” .
If you need something for your room that would also never happen, they will assure you at the reception that it will be done and then forget about it. Even something as simple as getting some apples. Scoops is the place of attraction for all the kids and you would think they would wanna be open on time but no, every morning there is a massive line of kids waiting for “the princess” to arrive and she is always at least 15 minutes late. Sprinkles are on the window display but never available to eat. In March “they have finished madam” and same now in November they are also always finished. I didn’t know there is a shortage of sprinkles in the world but if they are not available then just remove them from the window so kids don’t see them and don’t ask for them!!!
In the evening there is also a massive line of kids waiting for their pasta as it’s the most popular dish for the kids. Why they won’t put them out on hot plates like the rest of the food is beyond me because serving each kid individually takes forever!
In general the quality of this hotel has dropped drastically in the last couple of years. With every visit it becomes more and more of a disappointment. The only reason we keep coming back is because of its unique location. It’s definitely not the 5* hotel that we fell in love with 6 years ago.

My family truly felt like a Royal family from the time we stepped foot on the property. A gracious host escorted us to our room and showed us around. All of our needs were just a phone call away. Our housekeeping attendant Meshty kept our room clean and surprised us with towel art, desserts, fresh fruit and water each day. We felt as if we could stay forever! Hope to come back!

Yes the location is wonderful and that's the best bit. For €500 per night for the most basic room we expected more than what we got. The hotel is shabby and basic. When we got out of the lift on the 1st floor it took 2 minutes 4 seconds to get to our room. It was so long we actually timed it. The furniture in the room is cheap chipboard and just the overall feel old and tired.

The pool area is lovely. It has a real feel of 5 star. It's really well attended, beach menu and service. Towels are thick and good quality. They had out ice pops during the day. Bathrooms are close by. The beach is lovely, long and sandy. The madinat area is lovely yo stroll around and as guests you can use the little water boats to get from one hotel on the complex to the next or to the eating area.

Wouldn't stay again when compare the price to what we got. Much better 5 star hotels in Dubai.

First of all, I just have to say that the front desk Manager Rozeta has been nothing but super helpful. She went out of her way to help me with anything I needed. She will help you with any queries that you have. Then you have the beach guys, they work so hard, always on the move, setting up sun beds, making sure you have enough water. They made me feel so welcome. They have no faults in them whatsoever. Then you have the lounge next to the lobby, I can’t quite remember the name, but the staff there again, are always on point. You have Min and Jovana who gave such good service and got me anything I needed, always on point. All the staff were like that but couldn’t get their names but definitely a place you can lounge and feel comfortable because they made you feel like that. You also have the guys who take the glasses and plates who are always making sure everything is clear and clean. I can’t fault anything about this hotel, and to be honest, all Jumeirah Hotels, the guys make you feel wonderful.

Staying at the Dar Al Masyaf on a half board package with Jumeirah and Emirates, meant we could use other hotels and restaurants in the resort. We decided to try Mina A’ Salam HAANAYA for breakfast. This was the first time our 2 year old son Max gad travelled with us to Dubai. Max has a number of food allergies, Nuts, Dairy, Eggs and Chickpeas. This introduced a level of sensitivity and complication for us at meal time’s with my wife discussing and working out suitable options for Max with waiters and chefs.

However whilst in some places this felt like hard work the whole team and we mean whole team at HAANAYA were Fantastic!

Some names sure we will miss the odd one sorry guys you made our holiday. Julius and Maria in the management team could not have done more to ensure every meal was an absolute pleasure. Christine on reception big smiles and a warm welcome, Jojee, Madhu, Robinah and all the super friendly waiters, thank .you. Special thanks to Chef Rivas and Chef Michael in particular, caring friendly made us feel like Max was in no way an inconvenience more he’s a special customer they wanted to feel super welcome. Smiling their way through service and delivering outstanding freshly prepared food every time.
We could not recommend this restaurant more highly. Superb selections for both breakfast and dinner, presented by a team that truly cares and wants its customers to know this. Julius focused on our experience and deserves a special mention, please pass on this feedback to him and his amazing team in HAANAYA, for us the Jewel of Jumeirah!

Very good restaurant with very helpful staff to make the experience even better than it could of been.

With recommendations on starters and help on getting the best plates for the half board deal, it really helped us get the most out of our meal

Nuwan, our server was very helpful and recommended top starter dishes for us. Overall, starters amazing, main course lovely (including the habanero hot sauce that blew our faces off) and the dessert was delicious

We will be back again!

Excellent experience. First time at the hotel and my family and I were made to feel very welcome for the week that we spent here over Christmas. All the staff were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The facilities are excellent and all the restaurants in the complex were of a superb standard.
Special mention for Anna and Edward in the Executive Lounge who looked after us so well and never stopped smiling!
Marina on the concierge desk arranged two trips for us and took a genuine interest in making sure the excursions were to our taste.
Finally Amir in housekeeping always made sure we had ever needed.
We could not be happier with our stay and thank all the staff again for their hard work.

We didn’t have the afternoon tea but the canapés and drinks were wonderful. We couldn’t then eat a three course meal. Missed our starter or dessert. The lounge is lovely and we found it to be first class standard.
