The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is celebrated for its cleanliness and vibrant atmosphere, although there are occasional notes about noise and attention to detail. Service at the hotel garners high marks for staff attentiveness and friendliness. While some guests find the noise levels disrupt their stay, others aren't as affected. Opinions on value for money vary, with dissatisfaction linked to high prices. The prime location is a highlight for its beach proximity, despite some noise-related drawbacks. Amenities, particularly the Wild Wadi Waterpark, are a hit, and rooms are generally well-regarded, despite a few maintenance concerns.

Our first time in Dubai travelling as 2 adults with 2 children and we opted for this hotel as there was the option of a club room which was a no brainer for us as it offers lots of additional food and drink options in addition to the half board package.
The welcome was warm upon arrival by the doormen as soon as our transfer pulled up and check in was smooth.
There are a lot of staff at this hotel and some are more experienced than others but service was always warm and friendly.
The Ocean club rooms are located with the most amazing views of the Burj al Arab hotel, pools and beach. Being in a Club room permits you access to either the top floor terrace/bar and the amenities on offer there (children not permitted). Instead we took advantage of the downstairs Club room which offered a great variety of inclusive warm and cold food and cakes and soft drinks.
There was also inclusive alcoholic drinks and cocktails and canapes between 5pm & 7pm which is a great deal (if you drink) if you consider how expensive alcohol is in Dubai. Breakfast is also available in the Club lounge which is a lot quieter than the main breakfast area and there is a separate swimming pool for Club members.
For us the Club experience was a game changer and the price was reasonable.
We took breakfast in the main area which was top notch. Everything was available and more and the quality was very high and service always professional..
For the half board you can choose to dine at a number of restaurants within all the other hotels in the Jumeirah complex and you can get the golf buggies or boats to take you there which is great fun and is a lovely way to see other resorts close-by.
We ate at Zheng He’s and Hide which were both excellent in terms of food quality and setting. We were supposed to eat at Pai Thai one night but as we arrived back too late from IMG World (which I thoroughly recommend if you have children) we got room service which was fantastic.
The room was great, it was very big and modern and very high tech with electric curtains opening up to most impressive view I have seen. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets were so soft and luxurious.
The marble bathroom was incredibly big and provided everything you needed and more. The storage was immense and all the extras you would expect from a 5 star hotel were available.
I must say that this hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are so helpful and on hand with all your needs and I would most certainly stay here again. There is also free access to the Wadi world waterpark which the children absolutely loved!
The swimming pools were beautifully immaculate and as soon as you enter there is a team of people on hand to guide you to whatever you need.
The hotel was very busy which surprised me as it was August and extremely hot however I guess it was still during the summer holiday season and during this time there are offers available perhaps. The only thing that upset me somewhat was the way that some of the ‘entitled’ guests were behaving towards the amazing staff.
Go and relax and enjoy yourselves and get pampered by this amazing hotel it’s fabulous! Thank you for looking after us.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and we couldn't be happier with our choice of the Ocean Club room for our family of four.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by staff, who made check in seamless and ensured we felt at home.

Room:
The Ocean Club Room was very spacious, with an abundance of storage and wardrobe space for our belongings. With a comfortable large double bed and 2 single beds it was the perfect size for our family, offering plenty of space to spread out and relax.
The room was extremely clean, with a beautiful view of the resort, beach and Burj Al Arab. The decor was stylish, modern and elegant, with amazing quality and functional details.

Amenities:
The amenities were superb. We appreciated the daily refreshment of water, in sustainable glass bottles, and the in-room coffee machine. The spacious bathroom and selection of toiletries were well received, In particular, the top up of hand wash, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner in reusable bottles is a great initiative. We also loved the extra touches, like the turn-down service each evening and the thoughtful kid-friendly amenities such as complimentary soft toys and sweet treats.

Club Room Benefits:
Complimentary access to the Wild Wadi Water Park is essential for families. Within a very short walk you have direct access via the hotel guest entrance to the park to enjoy a few hours or full day of water slides and creating fabulous fun memories.

The Club Lounge is a wonderful environment for guests. With breakfast, afternoon tea and evening sundowners available each day, we felt spoilt for choice. The staff are friendly, attentive and polite. Making great effort with the guests and their preferences allowing for a very personal experience.

The Kids Club, gym and spa are other benefits included in the Club room option. Lots of options to keep the whole family happy & entertained.

Dining:
Our reservation included Half-board dining. With a huge selection of restaurants to dine in, we were spoilt for choice. There is even the possibility to dine in the sister hotels including the Jumeriah Zabeel Saray on The Palm. With the assistance of the JBH Concierge, all of our evening reservations were booked in advance of our arrival, which made for a stress free holiday. We enjoyed every meal and our kids were happy with an array of child-friendly options available.

Overall experience:
We have been guests at the Jumeriah Beach Hotel and resorts for over 4 years and always find the experience enjoyable. I am certain we will return in the future, and would highly recommend this hotel for families looking for a relaxing, fun and hassle-free holiday.

This was our third visit as a family of four to Jumeriah beach having previously stayed at the Jumeirah Mina Al Salam hotel in August 2018 and 2023. This year we decided to book the Jumeriah Beach hotel where my wife and I had stayed for three nights of our honeymoon in 2000. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance to the hotel on our early morning arrival and from that moment on were made to feel like we were the most important quests staying at the hotel that week. Our request at check-in to have two rooms together was met and the rooms were superb, situated on the 23rd floor with mesmerising views of the Burj Al Arab. We had forgotten how spacious and luxurious the rooms are at JBH and everything was immaculate. Kader and Mahmadur from housekeeping were fantastic, they provided excellent room service and were so polite, nothing was too much trouble. Their attention to detail is outstanding. We would like to thank them both and the Guest Relations team, especially Marta for the very kind gestures left in our rooms to acknowledge a family celebration. The beautiful flowers, card/cake were much appreciated.
The staff in all areas of the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay a relaxing and special experience with their fantastic hospitality. We would like to thank the amazing team at Kitchen Connection where we mostly dined for breakfast and dinner on our half board package. The food and service were excellent, there was plenty of choice and we couldn’t find anything to fault. We also dined at other restaurants in the hotel (Italian and Asian) on our half board package and enjoyed great food and a good atmosphere.
The pool areas are really well managed and are kept spotless. We used the main pool mostly which had a great chilled vibe and found the staff to be very courteous and attentive. A special mention to Sahadat who we struck up a friendly rapport with, he was brilliant in making sure we had everything we needed and bringing us drinks from the pool bar. The entire team worked so hard, bringing every guest fresh towels and chilled water in cool bags (very much welcomed in the heat!) The complementary ice lollies and fruits brought to us around the pool were much appreciated too, as were the buggy rides around the Jumeirah resorts. They are well organised and so much fun! Again, the staff are brilliant getting you to and from where you want to go.
Thank you to Kevin for your kindness and assistance with our luggage and taxi on our departure. You make everyone smile!

On our return from the best holiday ever in Mauritius we stopped over for four days at the JBH on the way back to the UK.
We arrived just after midnight at JBH to be welcomed first of all by most helpful and courteous staff as we got out of our courtesy vehicle. They guided us to reception where a lovely lady checked us in. We were on a half-board plan but owing to the late hour we'd missed our evening meal so she arranged for us to receive complimentary room service, which was a pleasant surprise as we didn't think we would get anything.
Our room (Deluxe Room Ocean with Balcony) was spotlessly clean with high quality toiletries in the bathroom, which had a separate shower and bath.
Breakfast was really something else and as good a breakfast experience as we've had anywhere. It gets very busy but is totally organised. To enter you have to scan your keycard and then a staff member takes you to a table. They take your order for drinks and you then go to the enormous breakfast buffet and make your choice...and that choice is massive.
The beach is large with a selection of high quality sunbeds and parasols.
The pool area is large and kept very clean and tidy. Again, there are high quality sunbeds and parasols. The staff at the pool are very efficient, polite and courteous and never stop working hard to ensure all guests are looked after. A special mention here must go out to Anfat and Foyez here who are like a double-act. They were funny and engaging but didn't distract away from their job. They kept us hydrated throughout by bringing us complimentary chilled bottled water in cool bags along with offering to fetch anything else we required from the pool bar.
The only negative to our stay at JBH was when we visited the Dhow & Anchor Pub inside the hotel. Firstly, the waitress brought the menu over but wanted us to order before we'd had the chance to open the menu. She then said she'd be back but we never saw her again. Sixty minutes later I went to the bar and ordered food and drinks from there. When the food arrived it was overcooked and burnt and we couldn't eat it. Sometimes this happens but my wife ordered a different meal to mine but they both arrived in the same state. This was the only downside to our stay at JBH. We didn't say anything as we didn't want any confrontation on a fantastic holiday.
We also ate at the French Bistro on the top floor. This restaurant had a wonderful ambience along with the food being exceptional. We had to pay a quite hefty supplement to eat from the A la carte menu but it was worth it including paying £92 for a bottle of Pinot.

This is our third family trip to Dubai in the past 5 years, and second year running at JBH. To be fair, it’s a property catered to families, so probably not the top option if on a couples retreat. However, for families it’s one of the best properties that we have ever stayed at - anywhere - just unbeatable.

Let’s start with location. It’s ideally located in a relatively uncrowded stretch of Dubai shoreline, about an AED 50 taxi ride from Dubai Mall in one direction, or AED 40 to the top of the Palm in the other. The beach is amazing, neatly raked everyday, and pristinely clean. Plus, the stunning beauty of the Burj Al Arab greets guests out of every room or while lounging beachside - just amazing.

The rooms are all very clean and well appointed, including Elemis amenities. For the past two years, we reserved an oversized family room (this year in room 1109). Cleaning and turn down service is offered twice per day, and invariably little “treats” are kindly left behind by the JBH housekeepers. This year we received a lovely bottle of Prosecco, and chocolates on several evenings. Of note, the rooms all have Nespresso machines as well, with as much coffee as you can handle.

We booked the half board option, including access to the more than 30 restaurants linked to “Jumeriah Flavours”. As such, we rotated each evening in between restaurants at JBH, Mina, Al Naseem, Al Qasr, and the Souk Madinat. Our kids especially loved the buggy service in between each property. Al Nafoorah at Al Qasr is our favourite, closely followed by Zheng He.
We also splurged one late afternoon, paying a reasonable supplement to enjoy an evening meal and sunset at the lovely Summersalt Beach Club. However, starting the day at JBH, and with the JBH breakfast buffet was truly one of the highlights (especially highly rated by our 15 year old son, who couldn’t get enough).

My wife and I also had drinks one evening at the bar on top of the hotel, 24th floor. The views of the Burj Khalifa, central Dubai, and (again) the Burj Al Arab are not to be missed.

The staff at JBH are so nice and courteous. On this past trip, the stand out was Tufael at the main JBH pool.
He was incredibly helpful, responsive, and even saved our loungers each AM (ahead of the predicted British half term rush. The team overseeing the breakfast each morning are also amazing.

Huge thanks to the entire JBH team. Keep getting better, keep making improvements, and know that (if you do) we will keep coming back. Hope to see you next year!

The JBH is not what it used to be since the renovation. The best thing about this hotel remains the beach section.
We have been coming to Dubai for about 15 years and have been to the JBH several times, but we will not be coming here again.
- Guest audience is predominantly Russian, English and Indian. Accordingly, it is loud everywhere but also at the pool or on the beach. If you want peace and quiet, you should not choose this hotel. Somewhere there's always kid screaming or loud phone calls.
- Taxis are difficult to get at peak times (this was usually only on Palm Island). The hotel service also does not call any, referring to Uber & co. Great service.
- Waiting times for the resort's own cart shuttle to other Jumeirah hotels and restaurants are long. Your own hotel guests are preferred (external) guests who want to go to the restaurants on the beach. Not a good service.
- To the rooms: look nice but design often has no function here. Washbasins are (too) low for tall people, so towels roam the floor. In the bathroom there is not even a toilet brush or water hose...soap is only liquid, not solid anymore. Even when the air conditioning is off, it is often cold in the room.
Conclusion: here the price-performance ratio is not right (more).

A fantastic Hotel with excellent staff which has established a reputation over the years. We have stayed here previously, over 5 years ago, The hotel has improved which is a big statement as it was an excellent choice previously.
The resort is large and very clean and the restaurants are plentiful including the ones available between the resorts neighbouring hotels. We stayed on a half board basis in an ocean club room which had additional benefits available which I can say were definite positive additions to our stay. The staff in the club lounge ground floor which was used for breakfast and afternoon tea were very good and their service and professionalism were outstanding.
This would be the same for the sunset club lounge on level 24 for the evenings, ran this impeccably by Rakib providing a personal touch on a daily basis. The same goes for the entire executive pool team who worked continuously without fault every day, and to be fair that goes for the whole of the staff we encountered and met during our stay (far to many to mention by name, sorry) .The Hotel advertises all of its options / facilities on the website but I can note the fact the staff definitely make the connection here and that added with the amazing facilities, decor and location of this hotel it’s an excellent choice amid a wide variety of choices in Dubai. This hotel offers a family, couples or a business stay which all run in parallel with its guests having a great stay in harmony due to the size of the hotel & the options available, (Kids clubs / beach/ pools / bars /restaurants / water park/gyms/tennis courts).
The house keeping was outstanding, thanks to Roney & Emon who kept the room immaculate and stocked with daily visits plus the nightly turndown service which was seamless and always convenient in between our visits around the resort.
A special thanks to all the staff We met and added to our stay.

After reading more reviews than miles travelled to get here this was a great choice. Would definitely go back as we have done before.

Words cannot fully capture the phenomenal experience we had last week at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Having stayed at incredible 5-star hotels around the world, each meeting its own high standards, we hoped the JBH would live up to our expectations. Not only did it exceed them, but we were utterly blown away.

Every aspect of this hotel deserves five stars, but the true heart of the experience lies in its outstanding staff, who go above and beyond to make every moment special. Our housekeeping team, Rakibul and Jamil, were exceptional—our room was spotless, and every request was met promptly, from firmer pillows to fresh towels. The attention to detail was unparalleled: cleaning our sunglasses, neatly folding our clothes, and decorating our bed with roses and beautifully crafted towel designs. The care, skill, and effort they put into these touches made us feel so valued.

The hotel staff, in general, were equally incredible. They assisted us when we were overcharged by a local taxi, arranged an early check-in after our long flight, and consistently provided thoughtful service throughout our stay. From laying out towels and adjusting sun loungers to keep us in the sun, to ensuring we always had chilled water by the pool and in our room, their dedication was unmatched. Even small gestures, like sourcing Coke Zero in the club lounge because it’s my husband’s favorite drink, or providing towels to dry your hands at the swim-up bar, made a huge impact.

These thoughtful touches elevated an already remarkable hotel, we loved the stunning pools, luxurious sun loungers, high-quality bed linen, exquisite toiletries, and outstanding restaurants. Every detail, no matter how small, contributed to a truly unforgettable experience.

Unfortunately our only issue is that we’ll never be able to go anywhere but Jumeirah Beach Hotel now 🤣

A hundred trips to JBH wouldn't be enough... If You are hesitating whether this is the place for You, it is! We have been visiting JBH for 20 years, Our children have grown from loving the kids club, films at the pool, Wild Wadi, to Chocolate Milkshakes at the swim up, to now ordering Margaritas with Us. Still We go back as do so many families We met Years ago, some as couples, some still with their kids as adults, that's Us, and also as couple breaks without the kids that are fuming they're not invited, also Us! Jumeirah Beach Hotel has something so special about it, every single aspect from reception when You arrive, every meal You eat, the guys that clean Your room. I would absolutely recommend booking a club room, although not essential, but a nice addition, club drinks in both lounges, We were so very well looked after, Rakib and Assad, they knew our drinks before We ordered, all five of Us! Absolute Heroes, every night, Our drinks appeared almost as soon as We sat down. Executive Pool is part of club room, absolutely recommended, this is where the service is off the scale, having stayed in every room level in JBH from family room, suite, club room to Villas, My absolute favourite place is the Executive Pool, Faysal, is an absolute King of device. The service Here is incredible, Faysal knew where We liked to sit, He remembered where We liked to eat, knew what We liked to drink, booked Our Restaurants, He had everything under control before we knew we needed it. That guy needs a massive pay rise! Damid, Georgie, RuRu and Ruble were also the heroes of the executive pool. When You consider the You sleep in Your room but Your waking hours are spent with the staff that go quite literally above and beyond, these are the people that make Our holiday, and the staff are what make JBH the amazingly special place that it is. Families and couples alike, there is something for everyone at JBH with an absolute elite level of service that makes it a cut above every other Resort We have visited.

We came to the hotel nearly 20 years ago and we were blown away. I came back to Dubai after so long but wanted to stay at Jumeirah again to see if it held its value…and my god has it. The rooms are still huge, absolutely huge amount of wardrobe space, so much I couldn’t find where I put things. It just means you don’t have to live out of suitcases and makes you really relax. The views of the Burj al Arab and amazing from your room and it just feels great to wake up to an amazing sea view. The beach is wonderful and the staff are brilliant so quick to respond and get you want you need. The coconuts are the best here! The pools, one for small kids has a small slide and it’s next to kids club which catered for my three year old and it’s got trampolines, soft play a lot bigger than the Atlantis and the Atlantis kids club is for 4 and above so luckily my daughter could go to this one no issues. Wild wadi is great, so many rides so much fun! The restaurants at Jumeirah are just exceptional, what you get in the half board package is great so many high end places to eat and the buggies take you to them as they’re spread across the resort. Only thing that’s not including in half board is water and soft drinks which is different to Atlantis and that’s included. The staff at Jumeirah were exceptional and the chefs at breakfast did so much to cater for my daughter with a diary allergy. The breakfast is the best here we loved it, so much choice, and lots of egg stations so you’re not waiting too long for an omelette. Despite being one of the older hotels, in my opinion it’s still the best for families, the rooms the food the water park and kids club and the views you can’t beat it. Thanks to everyone at Jumeirah who made our stay so memorable.

Depends tbh. The club lounge is mainly useful for a quiet breakfast and afternoon canapes. We had 3 young boys (ages 8-3) and were awake early enough that we enjoyed the quiet breakfast area as opposed to the busier main breakfast buffet. The canapes were fine (adults in our group used it, but kids didn't care as much). Also if you'll be out of the hotel for other activities and planning to frequently miss the small window they have for afternoon canapes then won't be worth it imho

You just take them out with you, there are amazing children play places in the malls, but not in Jumeirah beach, they are fabulous with children though & make them very welcome, hope this helps? Xx
