Simply one of the best serviced hotels in UAE and probably in Asia. Facilities are great with lots of top-level amenities and services that can make your staying experience very satisfying. Rooms are excellently maintained, and catering venues are second to none! The location and views from all over the hotel are probably the best in Dubai. Special mention should be given to all the staff, who take all client requirements at a personal level, from the top to the bottom. It's probably the best customer service I have ever encountered at a hospitality venue. Congratulations to the management for doing great and consistent work on the customer satisfaction level. Kuldeep, our account manager is always eager to help in any residency matters and issues that might arise. Perhaps the most exciting and relaxing place in the hotel is the iKandy pool bar, which offers an oasis of relaxation in the middle of Dubai. Kudos to the iKandy staff for keeping the atmosphere always pleasant and organized. Maria, our i Kandy guest relations manager, always goes the extra mile for having the well renowned Shangri-la customer experience. My numerous stays for the past 8 years at the Shangri-La Hotel located on Sheikh Zaid Road, Dubai, have been consistently remarkable, making it one of the best five-star hotels I have had the pleasure of experiencing. The defining factor of this hotel's excellence also lies in the leadership of its current General Manager, Haken Ozel. His dedication is noticeable; from personally greeting guests in the reception and also in the valet parking area during busy hours in the morning to ensuring the well-being of guests and his staff, Mr. Ozel's approach is a blend of professionalism and personal touch that sets this hotel apart. The Shangri-La not only boasts an array of top-notch facilities - spacious, immaculate rooms, high-speed internet, a state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool, and squash court - but also an ideal location. Its proximity to Dubai Mall, various restaurants, coffee shops, and the Dubai Metro adds to its charm. What makes the stay truly special is the warm welcome and continuous assistance from the hotel staff. Right from the outset, the duty manager and staff make you feel valued and respected. During my recent booking, Tareq bin Hussain was my initial contact at the hotel. His dedication was immediately evident as he ensured that my needs were met. He took a special interest in facilitating my accommodation, going above and beyond to secure the perfect room for me. Ahmed, one of the duty managers, deserves a special mention for his exceptional help from check-in to setting up an online account, ensuring a seamless and pleasant stay. Also, the room service provided by Amrit Karma is noteworthy. His professionalism, coupled with his friendly, polite, and respectful manners, reflects the high standards of service that Shangri-La prides itself on. Having stayed at Shangri-La hotels in Asia, we decided to make this our home base for our 3-day stopover in Dubai. We booked a Horizon Premier Room that was located on the Club Level. Hotel is a little dated, but room was large, clean, and everything comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast at the lobby level each morning, and afternoon tea and happy hour at the Horizon lounge each afternoon, as well as room service. The food was good throughout the venues and service excellent. Housekeeping also did a nice job each day making sure our room was tidied and restocked with whatever we needed. The concierge/doormen were always friendly and we never had to wait very long to get a taxi. Location was a quick taxi ride away from Dubai Mall. Overall a good stay!

As soon as we entered the hotel, the reception was wonderful and the room was ready. It did not take us much time to receive the room. Thanks FARAHAT, for receiving us with smiley face. The room is very beautiful and was cleaned daily during our stay. The wonderful view of Burj Khalifa from the room window suggests luxury. The most important during our stay was the Breakfast in Dunes Cafe Restaurant , the delicious omelet by the chef WALID , and chines noodles from chef Dipen , and the Great cafe latte with smile from AHMED SAKR , who every day giving us nice arts on the coffee and he wrote my wife name on the her cappuccino which was amazing and made my day and my wife was very happy , and also greeting my wife in Dutch since he knows that she is from Germany , and he teach us some Arabic words and giving nice wishes in Dutch every day for my wife because she cant speak English .
