Amazing service, very good location and a really friendly staff that I have never experienced anywhere before. One of the doormen (Yasser) did an amazing job at a time where I forgot my phone in a taxi. Just 60 minutes later I have received my phone back thanks to the help of him. Apart from that, whenever you need anything the staff is always very helpful! Service is on another level - Highly recommended

I stayed here for 4 nights with some friends and it’s safe to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I especially want to commend the hotel staff on their excellent service and dedication to ensuring that guests are comfortable. It runs through all levels - from senior level to the cleaners. There is a spirit of excellence. The room was lovely and very spacious for a standard double room. Possibly the biggest of its class that I’ve stayed in in Dubai. All the amenities were top notch. The toiletries were excellent quality and regularly topped up. The breakfast was a real triumph. I’m normally weary of buffets but this is a well manned buffet that is constantly being replenished. No crusty, scrambled eggs in sight! We had dinner at the lovely Vietnamese French restaurant and is was also excellent. The food was really delicious and the service was top notch. Overall, you are in a safe pair of hands at the Shangri-La.

Very nice hotel, we could only recommend it. 2 very good restaurants and nice breakfast. Amazing fitness and spa. Breathtaking swimming pool. The whole staff is very kind and the client service couldn't be better. Especially Khodarahm who is in charge to call the taxis in front of the hotel is a very lovely and smiling person. Binoy, the restaurant manager of the breakfast, talked to us avery day and gave us some very hood recommendatioun. His manager qualities are very impressive and he's a very good person too!

I made a call for a Breakfast inquiry for Dunes Cafe. The male service agent was talking in a very lame manner regarding my inquiries. When I asked about if the entertainer is accepted for breakfast, he answered in a very sarcastic manner and sounds like I am very stupid to ask this question to him. I know that I can view it myself in the entertainer app if is accepted but whats the point of him to be the service provider if you cannot answer the question directly and keep on refering to me that I can check the terms and condition myself in the app. Like common! I am already taking to you, why cant you just answer a simple YES or NO! I know the Shangri-la way of assisting guests and I know the staff undergo a tremendous customer service training when they get hired. And this is the first time that I was assisted by a Shang Staff the rudest way possible of dealing your possible guests or customers! My God! How I feel insulted the way this staff treated me during my phone call inquiry!!!!! VERY RUDE!

One night and one day stopover - wanted to be close to the Burj Khalifa before heading to JBX. Lovely room, nice staff - especially Khodarahm on the door with the warmest of welcomes! Got a great deal and definitely would look at it again. Short taxi ride to the Burj and Mall, loads of places to eat nearby. Didn’t try the hotel options other than breakfast in their Horizon Club.

Had a fabulous stay at the Shangri-La Hotel for my birthday, staff were amazing especially Khodarahm who went out of his way to help. The poolside and I-Kandi bar staff were always very attentive and the room was great. Would highly recommend this hotel, location was perfect for sightseeing with the metro a few minutes walk away. Will definitely come back!

I stayed in the 1-bedroom Horizon Suite for a week and quite simply it was the best hotel experience i ever had the pleasure to be in. I came with my toddler & wife. The room was delicately designed and the pillows & bed was extremely comfortable. The Horizon Lounge restaurant also had an incredible sea-view at the corner. The view from the Horizon Lounge of the Burj Khalifa & city is out of this world - better than seeing the city out of Burj Khalifa itself. Very early in the morning at Sunrise, if you are lucky, you might see the fog climbing up the city which makes it a must-do photography opportunity. But what made the experience very special was the Staff who were simply incredible. From the Concierge to the cleaning staff to Chef, they were very friendly who are ready to go out of their way to make your stay memorable. They also kept my toddler who was very active, quite entertained. My special thanks to the Restaurant manager Mr Binoy, who ensured the restaurant had a daily supply of Dhokla(his favorite) for my kid even though it was not on the menu. Mr Yan, who made the book-in process so simple and offered advise for PCR lab location. A very special thanks to Ms Damely, Ms Bermet & Mr Khodaram for entertaining my kid and giving him treats & soft toy. He just as much enjoyed the stay. It's the Staff that makes this hotel very very special.

Well I didn’t stay here, but on 29th Oct my taxi driver dropped me at this hotel. It was close to 1.00am. The beautiful young man who took my luggage couldn’t have been kinder ( we looked very tired). And the poor reception gentleman looked most worried that there was no booking for us. But he was very calm and professional. We figgered out that the taxi had dropped us at the wrong hotel. ( won’t name it BUT sounds alike and is also a DOWNTOWN hotel). So I was embarrassed but they were very ok with it and a taxi was promptly called and we were dispatched down the road. But the courtesy shown to me will made me stay HERE next time I visit. Thank you gentlemen
