We stayed in Le Royal Meridien during our journey to Dubai for the third time. And once again we came to the conclusion that we do not need to look for any other hotel in Dubai, in future. First class service, very attentative and friendly staff, luxury and spacious room, fantastic outdoor territory with three pools, a lot of greenery, many different dining possibilities... Even in 2020 summer hot and coronavirus times everybody from the staff was smiling and ready to fulfill our requests. Especially, Mrs. Olesya Emets from the reception service professionally and with full commitment resolved all our requirements during our 14-days stay. Thank you Olesya, thanks to all the team and surely, see you again.

Great hotel. Friendly people, can’t do enough for you. Highly recommend for families, couples etc. Three pools, seven restaurants, excellent food. High standards or cleanliness, feel very safe here. Superb !

We decided to choose Le Royal Meridien as our Honeymoon week, as we love the green garden and location. At this moment, we are still in the hotel, but luckily we are checking out tomorrow without extending our stay and moving to another hotel. Luckily we decided to book only two nights and extend the stay if we will feel happy about our experience. 1. Arrival experience Good COVID measurements. The valet Team is spraying cars seats, wearing gloves and masks, placing a plastic cover on the seat, which made us feel comfortable to give our car to the valet service for the first time after COVID. Masks and gloves are complimentary given everywhere - well done, Le Royal! 2. Check-in We arrived a bit earlier, around 12.30 - 1 PM. Five counters at the Reception were open, and we were asked to wait a bit on the sofa. The check-in process took literally forever and made us feel that our Honeymoon is turning into an average experience. We wrote a note on the booking that we are coming for a Honeymoon experience. No one said a simple "Congratulations to your wedding"... Well, we're fine with that. Our receptionist Mr. Y was extremely busy with his PC and even didn't give us an introduction to the hotel or map or even a welcome letter/map. The Team was in an emergency mood (but we were only one couple next to the counter); they were rushing and making a bit panicking atmosphere but without real attention to the Guests. Mr. Y offered us a "fully complementary upgrade" from our Sev View room to... better size room with a vie on JBR and construction. Well, we disagreed and said that it is our Honeymoon and we would like to get a nice quiet room with a sea view, and we are absolutely fine to wait up to 3 PM. He said okay and became busy with the phone and his tasks, and we were standing. In the end, he said that he got a chance to allocate us to the room on the 3rd floor. We asked again if it is a review room and is it quiet as we are Honeymooners, and it is essential for us. The answer was "yes." We went to the room and found out... partly sea view and balcony chairs facing the glass wall without any view! My husband called the Call center, and one lady called us back with an offer to move on the 4th floor with a sea view. My husband asked her if she will be able to allocate us to some better floor - we will be happy to wait next to the pool and Reception, perhaps, could find some better option later. She answered that "I am expecting 100 arrivals today, and we will not have a better room". I felt disappointed but decided to skip all of it. 3. Room Good sea view, clean and spacious enough (standard hotel room size). But... our bedside tables are from different sets, and the room is connected. Connected room for honeymooners a bit strange choice from the reception team, but we were fine with that until our neighbors started to laugh in the morning and didn't give us a chance to sleep. After arrival, we found that our wardrobe is making a strong annoying sound. We called Maintenance, and they fixed the problem quickly. But in the evening, we found out that the sink is plugged and the socket is not working next to the table. TV channels are great. 4. F&B 1) Before the arrival Reservation Team sent us the menus. It was a nice touch... but the prices in the email menu and real prices are different. We reported to the Room Service, and they apologized and said that the old menu was sent to us via email. 2) We booked our first dinner in Gales via Call center, and the lady asked our allergies and if we have some special occasions. We said that we have some allergy and we are celebrating our first honeymoon evening. When we came to the restaurant hostess asked our name and room number and... she didn't look in the system even. Waiter asked us again about the allergy, and my husband asked him to see all the details in the system, as we already explained everything during the booking of the table. Well, the experience was 2 out of 5, including the location of the table and food experience. Baked Alaska was very bad, I am sorry to say (old sponge layer, melted merengue, etc.), but seafood risotto was yummy! Recommended. 3) Pool bar food was not excellent and average value, but bar cocktails were good enough. The service is good as well. 4) Breakfast was good, but not something we would be amused with. 5. Overall experience Absolutely not what we were expected. We love Le Meridien Mina (which is next to it). We were hoping to get a better, more memorable experience with upper brand Le Royal Meridien, but unfortunately, we got average experience. This hotel is not paying any attention to special occasions (we do not speak about upgrades, cakes, balloons, etc., but the simple word and a bit more attention would make our stay much better). Also, Team members are trying their best, but Management needs to help them provide a great experience to their Guests.

This was our third time staying at this hotel over the last couple of months and we decided to return for my husbands birthday . We had the most incredible time . The staff went out of their way to make it a very special celebration and we just want to return again and again .. this hotel is honestly one of the best hotels in Dubai . It is completely faultless .. the excellence of the staff ,the food ,the atmosphere and particularly how they have handled management of the pandemic for their guests . We stayed in interconnecting club rooms which were definitely worth it as it includes afternoon tea and drinks from 6-8 pm. Thank you so much in particular to Francis ,Henrik and all the staff particularly by the pool ,including exceptional lifeguards. Well done le Royal merdien 💕👏

We booked in for a one night staycation. We were a bit disappointed by the time taken to check in but everything else seemed great on arrival. Without us even knowing we were upgraded to a royal suite for the night, which was absolutely stunning. The apartment (!) was beautiful and we were treated really well the whole time we were there. The half board deal on food for guests was excellent and the choice of restaurants and pools/facilities was very very good. Very pleasantly surprised by this ugly duckling. The ugly exterior of the building doesn’t reflect the lovely refurb inside. Loads of space and choice and great value for money. Definitely going back.
