I'm staying this hotel for a long time, and I would like to thank you housekeeping Anne who did her great job,she cleaned our room very nicely and most of all she sanitized all the areas of our after cleaning thank you for that Anne
The rooms are large and well equipped so you can live comfortably. Mr. Repley in charge will solve my request quickly. Since it is directly connected to the mall, it is easy to go shopping and the view from the room is good.
First time staying in Swissotel Living. Usually stay in hotel. Apartment very spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed freedom apartment offered. No issues with accommodation. Already booked to return in May
I prefer this hotel for my stays in Dubai, because it is not located in one of the "tourist" areas, but still has important amenities easily accessible. I am a return customer who stays here about 2 times a year, and things are starting to deteriorate. While having a kitchen in an apartment is useful, not having the proper equipment in the kitchen to actually use it makes it pointless. I have now developed the habit of bringing my own spatula. That says something... I do not want to bring my own glassware or things like a can opener and a corkscrew. Those really should be there, as some other things as well. I know that in many cases these are not used by the guests, but their absence, when needed is frustrating. Carpets in some places have grime in them. That is a big no-no. I don't know if that is a cleaning issue, but they are quite old. The same goes for the furniture. The sofa looks like it was sourced from a junkyard, the chairs hobble. The handrail in the bathroom needs repair. The trashcan would not open (except by hand) as the mechanism was broken. These - I know - are things that an inspection by a professional hotelier would get noticed and rectified. They need to be. To end on a positive note, breakfast (which I didn't take in the past for flexibility) was excellent. The staff was helpful. This hotel could get back to excellence, but a wake-up call is definitely in order.…
The Swissotel Living Al Ghurair was a great fit for our trip. We were first time visitors to Dubai, mom and 11 year old son. We were looking for apartment style accommodations with kitchen amenities, laundry options and close to public transportation. The two bedroom apartment had 2.5 bathrooms, full sized refrigerator and washer/dryer. It met all of our needs. We opted for the buffet breakfast each day. There were many options to choose from at breakfast although those options did not change drastically from day to day. Staff was always kind and helpful. We did have a small building emergency in our unit but engineering and housekeeping responded swiftly and made all repairs without us having to leave the unit and relocate to another. I did find it odd that no one addressed the incident at any time but was definitely happy with how the general staff attended to the problem. We used the pool on only one occasion but did enjoy it and there is an option to order food/drinks poolside. This location also had the added benefit that it is attached to the Al Ghurair Shopping Center which has a grocery store on the 1st level. We were able to make a quick stop for groceries without ever having to go outside which was helpful on that day that it rained. The Union metro is about a block and a half away and is a green/red station. It made traveling throughout the city quick and easy. Taxi's were also readily available. We would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it.…
Booked a 1-bedroom apartment for 3 people well in advance. Hotel is close to Union metro station and close to DXB airport. Check-in very friendly and preofessionaly but unfortunatly we had a neighbour family that made noise till early morning. Guest services did a great job in offering a new corner apartment and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. Furniture and carpet need to be refreshed at some point. However , the daily cleaning was excellent. Breakfast as expected Swissotel quality and plenty of choice. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend. Family Paul Berckmans
Since we had to postpone our flight, we decided at short notice to spend two nights at the Swisshotel living al Ghurair. As a Diamond Member, we have experienced many 5* hotels of the Accor Group in Dubai, but we were more than positively surprised by the Swissotel Al Ghurair. In particular, the strict COVID protection measures throughout the hotel were very positive - which were not implemented to this extent in other 5* superior hotels. Furthermore, we were thrilled by the friendly and service-oriented nature of the staff. Without exception, all employees are friendly and try to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The two bedroom apartment with balcony was excellent, but the furnishings are no longer the latest and need updating (carpets are also no longer state of the art). The only pity was that the executive lounge was not open. This was particularly noticeable at breakfast as the restaurant was at capacity. Even though we booked on site, it would have been nice if a welcome gift had been brought to the room - this would have rounded off a successful and pleasant stay. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and will gladly consider the Swissotel Al Ghurair again for a next stay…
Very helpful staf especially at the front desk. Due to covid reasons we were forced to find a hotel at 11.00 o'clock in the evening (could not go on board of a cruisship and we stayed at the Swisslog hotel three days prior to that). The manager of the frontdesk had given us his private number and he arranged a room for us even if he was not at work.
Very well located and Mr. Shadab from Housekeeping Department is very helpful during my stay. We have stayed frequently in this hotel with my family. Highly recommendable service and value for money. 👍
Back home. This feels like home in Dubai for us. Staff are always welcoming and we love being here. The location is very convenient as it is part of a mall, which is very useful. Great gym and nice pools as well as a shuttle to La Mer. Breakfast is very busy though
