Not a bad hotel, but not a great one. AL Barsha is an older part of town with not too many new buildings. At first I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful guy on the front desk by the name of Nasir. Nasir checked me into a fantastic room and has really looked after me during my stay. The room I have is absolutely huge, like a mini apartment, coming with desk, couch and small oder flatscreen tv, which I connected a PS4 to and the wifi is actually fast here. The bed is gigantic and very comfortable along with the pillows. They have a few bars inside the hotel which could be good, but smoking is allowed. House keeping each day is done and there is a safe in the room too.
The bathroom is big and well furnished.
Some points for improvement in the hotel: 1. New carpet needed throughout or change flooring to tiles. 2. New curtains in rooms that fully draw across the windows blocking all sun, and are more sturdy. 3. Newer TV could help. 4. Set menu is ok but could be better if it was a larger buffet. New chef is better than the last one. 5. Breakfast is very very limited. Compared to some other hotels it is extremely poor, but if the hotel is so cheap, maybe that is to be expected. 6. Only 2 lifts out of 4 working, but the hotel is not at full capacity so not the worst thing. 7. Smell could be improved maybe with perfumed air con, I feel the carpet doesn't help as there is smoking inside the hotel.
All in all the staff were really nice here which is the most important for me and it is a pleasant hotel.

Happy with my stay with cleanliness and price being my key considerations.
No complaints with the check in or. cleanliness of the bathroom
It's about 20 mins walk to the Mall.of Emirates for shopping but the food court at the Dubai Mall 4 metro stops offer better and wider fare esp. if you are looking for Chinese food. Few local eateries esp indian food around the corner.
The metro is another 10 mins walk away from the Mall of Emirates if metro is key to getting around the city.
Overall a very good place to stay for a nite or 2 as base to visit Burj el arab or Burj Khalifa and Miracle Gardens

The hotel is shaped like a cruise ship from outside and has the feel inside too with its grand lobby and center that opens to all the floors.
The location was very good in the heart of Al Barsh (tucked between buildings from all sides, instead of being beach side or highway side to be seen by all).
The room upgrade was unexpected, and the service was very good. We even forgot something in the room on departure and they kept it for us (very rare). However, the rooms have windows but they were locked, and the noise from the clubs was too much and affected our sleep.
We didn't try the food, but overall, it was a very good hotel and would definitely stay there again.

It started by giving us "an upgrade" to an uncleaned room, dirty bathtub, an AC that is not working and it took us one hour till they finally agreed to switch our room.
The housekeeping service is really bad. We requested bathroom condiments and other things and never received it.
And the iron was faulty and damage my shirt.

we checked In 3 to 13 Feb actually our stay was amazing that room was and toilet was clean and they sterilized the room during the check In . the room is big and which make me feel more comfortable in the 10 days the housekeeping was bringing a new towels everyday and water and refill the tea and coffee. the location is perfect close to the Emirates mall, many Markets and Metro. I stayed 3 nights with my business partners at this Hotel and we regret it from day one. The toilets are dirty and never cleaned properly when the room is cleaned, they will never leave towels, you have to keep calling the reception and sometimes over 3 times before they send someone with towels, this did not happen only to me but to all 3 of us. My business partner found cockroaches in the room and asked to be moved to another room and was told the only thing they can do is to send a housekeeper to clean the room. I will not recommend this hotel to my worse enemy, stay away from this hotel, the service is poor, customer service is nonexistent, too noisy because of bars and a night club on the ground floor, breakfast is poor. I could go on and on and on...

U will find ur self staying on a shared apartment as all guests are opening the door rooms and sitting on the corridor. No privacy at all. The room service not changing the towels they are taking it during the room cleaning and left room without any towels .
The response of reception is so slow and they don’t care about ur request.
Don’t recommend it at all however it is around 500 metres to Emirates mall .

We Checked in On 14th January . First of all On the Day of check IN I found a Dirty Mask in My room. The Fridge From the room Was missing. I Had to Call Reception 10 Times to Get it installed & Same Day the locker Of my room Was not Working I had to call Reception again to get it Fixed . After the cleaning on day 2 No fresh toiletries were kept . Also Used Glasses were Taken from my Room and No new Fresh Glasses were Kept. Third Day was no better I had ordered Breakfast and That lid That comes with the breakfast was still in my room Till Day 5th . 4th Day was even more I left the hotel room around 2 PM for my activities and Came back around 11 and the Room Was Not cleaned .. You Guys literally Ruined our Honeymoon stay Your housekeeping and Reception staff is literally the worst and most ignorant people. This was the worst Hospitality ever Received. The Only Thing That is Good in this Hotel is Security Department. Kudos to mr Malkeet Singh and Mr Aamir Who Got the little Smile on our Face 💝.

Where do I start? Firstly, I requested an early check-in however, I still managed to wait 4 hours before I could access the room - which would not have been a problem had the staff been apologetic and helpful given that I was travelling solo. They could have offered me a free of charge breakfast while I waited given that I had booked the room half board instead I paid! Secondly, the room and bathroom was tired and drab looking in comparison to the lobby which is very grand. Thirdly, there was no hairdryer in the bedroom which when I then requested one they had to send a maintenance team to install ! Fourth, there were no towels in the room; when I then made numerous requests for towels to be delivered I waited two hours for ONE towel to be delivered to my room! Fifth, they mention a mini bar in the room and, you’ve guessed it, there isn’t one! Sixth, I do feel a couple of staff members are rather creepy which as a solo traveler you do not expect from a 4 star hotel. All in all if you don’t mind inattentive and disinterested staff then this is the hotel for you, me on the other hand will definitely be staying elsewhere next time!!

We booked a suite for 3, a lady at the reception suggested us all to sleep in the same bed or pay extra for an extra bed, which was prepaid and clearly stated that the room was for 3. There were no hot water in the morning, we could not take a shower. In the evening water was slightly warm, but splashed away from the shower cabin. The floor was very slippery. On the second day of our stay bath towels disappeared and fresh towels arrived more than an hour after we asked the room service for. Breakfast was very average. I had to wait for 25 min for my omelette as a cook on the egg station served men first despite they ordered after me, incl my husband. I did not feel good about it. There is a night club on the ground floor. The area does not look safe, quite rubbishy.
