I’m surprised with Millennium central Downtown hotel front office named Mohammed from Morocco with his superb communication and helping on my check in during my visit in dubai … I’m happy to share this experience to all of you which which will be visiting Millennium Hotel and recommend you guys to look for Mohammed for you every help… he is a great guy with amazing experience 🙌
Hesitated from where to start! We reached at night, no valet parking, we had to park our car our selves, narrow parking slots, dirty parking where we could find cockroches running around and spilled dirty water besides the construction material stacked there. So this will give you the first impression how bad your stay will be. Old building, no refurbishment or renovation, it was obveious from the cracked yellowish marble, doors and elevator. Though the receptionist ( the lady) was so kind and tried to help, the process to check in took too long, as she was jumping from disk to another to scan our IDs. Going up to the room, the carpet in the corridors is stinky and full of stains, humidity smell, uncomfortable feeling before entering the room. Inside the room, the same humidty smell, stained carpet and you can feel the the bathroom is not clean from the rusted corners and dented waste bin. There was tooth brush and slippers, however, if you ask for any other thing, like iron , dont expect to have it before 35 minutes at least. The water from the shower or wash basin is hard to be adjusted to the suitable temperature.. a little move will make it either too hot or cold. And even if you kept the valve as it is, the temperature is fluctuating without making any change! On the next day we went out then came back. We found the valet parking guy. He does not understand Arabic or english.. only Urdu! And he was only one guy. So we were lucky finding him not busy. THE DISASTER Today, we came back ( we have two kids) at 11.30 pm and found that no house keeping was done to the room. We complained immediately , reminded them many times over the phone , then went to the reception complaining twice until the room was cleaned at 1.00 am! It was rediculous how the the guy on the reception was too rude . I am making a complaint to the manager tomorrow for the very bad service and for the rudeness of the receptionist ( the man). Really I would never come again to this hotel even if free.. No way to be a 4 star hotel Not recommended at all. You know that feeling when you have to check everything if clean or not before using it.... uncomfortable…
Good hotel, near Dubai mall. Smooth check in. Nice room with view to downtown. Unfortunately weather is rainy during our visit, can’t test terrace bar. We eat dinner at hotel restaurant, but pricey, not so good food. Visited in January 2020
After coming many times to Dubai and staying in wonderful hotels (similarly priced to the millennium) I would NEVER stay here again. This was the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in in my entire life. The first morning of our stay, we were woken up at about 8am with someone trying to come into our room! We were exhausted from a long day of travel and wanted a lay in.. the person who came in we had to physically push out of our room. We let this go as thought maybe she got confused on which room number she was.. then it happened 2 more times! At 5am we were awakened by someone trying to open the door on many occasions and as two 21 year old girls you can imagine how scary this was.. once i told them to stop opening our door they went to the room next to ours and then did the same thing with trying to open the inter connecting door. I went down to reception really shaken up and said I want this looked into and gave the dates and times of when each incident happened. I told them I want to be checking out in the morning and they said this isn’t a reason to leave early and they will check CCTV (they were quite rude and not apologetic). I went back up to the room and they called the phone in the room 5 minutes later to say nothing shown on CCTV and made it out as though we were lying about this!! Once we finally went back to sleep the same thing happened again- someone trying to get in our room which again woke us up. I went down to reception and spoke with the manager who did apologise and advised us he will change our room and floor which he did however this took 5 hours to sort out so we had wasted half a day of our holiday. In the end we decided to go out and left our luggage in our old room and the manager promised he would take our luggage to the new room which did not happen. More of our time taken whilst carrying heavy luggage and waiting for the lifts. In our new room, the person next to us was talking on the phone very loudly until 1:30 am and the walls are paper thin so this was very annoying. We called reception twice to report this and nothing was done. In the end I had to knock on his door and ask him to be quiet. A lot of money down the drain and our entire experience with this hotel ruined our holiday. I am so upset by what happened and still shaken. I will NEVER EVER stay here again. Do not stay here unless you want people coming into your room and no sleep.…
I advise everyone to avoid this hotel if your expectations are in British or European standard! Absolute disappointment! With similar price or slightly more could have stayed in a 5 star hotel or apartment hotels in the area and even in Jomeira! I looked into the website pictures and descriptions and I was fooled by it all! Don’t fall into views and it’s closeness to Dubai mall! Terribly noisy 24/27 hours days/nights as there is a giant power station with 6 giant engines that works 24 hours just next to the hotel and with the noise and so much smoke it ruined the view and my experience in Dubai. I booked for a room with king size bed but was a double size very small space in the room and not clean! I couldn’t have slept because of noise ! They moved me to a business class room and they said the power engine would stopped over the night and the floor was a few higher so would be very quiet but that was a lie! I supposed to have my fried from Abu Dhabi staying with me but too embarrassing for her so she had to book her somewhere else! Very low standard, outdated, not so cleaned, super busy no good service in any thing and poor facilities. So many construction works around! Too difficult and confusing to find the hotel. Too expensive for such a low standard hotel.…

i will never ever recommend this hotel to anyone or stay there ever. the rudest staff in the world specially the receptionist and the managers there. also the sales team are rude as well when i asked to extend for one month he told I’m busy now call me tomorrow. they never picked the phone up you need to call for three days so someone can answer and after they answer the will not help you or they will send wrong item and after calling many time they start taking the phone and hanging up directly . shame on the management there shame It’s the most uncomfortable night i had ever in my life, I’m happy that I didn’t extend for one month in your hotel
A great hotel! Well located! But the high score Goes to the professional Ravindra! What a surprise!!! We wore welcome with good humor and also our needs wore solucionated at the right time! People like him makes the diference in a Place Like this! Congrets!!!!!
Me and my wife had some bad experience when we cheked in late att night... At the morning we told MR.Mohammed in the front disk about our experience and let just say that this person made sure to show us what standards a hotell needs to have. Really impressed and thankful for our wisit at this hotell
The worst hotel experience over the last 25 year, the staff and management need full training on Hospitality so they can handle the miserable unprofessional situation, the overall experience wasn’t good at all and I don’t advice any family to visit this hotel. I don’t want to go and write all the issues that started from the valet parking to the room cleanness and room service, however I can list some of it, - room was without the following upon check inn( hand towels , face towels, bathrobe, tissues, floor mat, comps, iron, sleepers, laundry bags or shoes bag) it seems to be the room was not even ready. - requested for baby bed during the reservation I get the same at 3 am !!!!!!!!!! After 3 follow ups ,In addition the bed is very bad condition and not good for the baby’s - scallop sandwich ended to be club sandwich - sorry Mum we don’t have face towels they are in the laundry!!!!!! - sorry sir you can park your won car we don’t have enough staff for the valet!!!!!!! - room in not clean, chair in horrible, bedsheets wasn’t changed !!!!!!!! - duty manager offering free breakfast in order to solve the issues!!!!!!…
