JA Lake View Hotel stands as a beacon of modernity and comfort, earning high marks from guests for its wide-ranging amenities, including multiple pools, a splash park, and diverse dining options, though the all-inclusive packages may have some restrictions. The service is widely commended for its attentiveness, yet there's room for improvement in drink delivery times.
While the hotel's secluded location is praised by some, others find it inconvenient, and noise from a nearby race track can be a concern. Rooms are celebrated for their spaciousness and cleanliness, but the value proposition is somewhat tarnished by additional costs.

Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favorite
This was one of many stays at this resort. We always find the service and food excellent. Our room at the Lake View was ideal with a nice size balcony overlooking the adult only pool.
A hotel / restaurant is only as good as its staff of course and we must mention a few names: Alexanda and May at check in and who helped with the bill were both very pleasant and very helpful.
The manager of Republik, Sanjay (always a pleasure to speak with and I hope he gets his promotion!), Jivan and Christopher (bar tender) went beyond expectations.
Cynthia and Sulis at the Sports Cafe - professional but friendly.
Judy and Vicky at Captains.
Yashika at Bibe. Lovely young lady.
Martin at the beach (of course) who always looks after us so well. Thanks Martin. See you in May.
The lifeguards at the adult only pool are so pleasant and attentive - even if no one's drowning. Sorry I didn't get their names. The staff at Vibe bar - very good.
Sette - Aakash & Shakh gave great service and food excellent.
White Orchid: Ganesh and Sachin looked after us very well and the food was excellent - as always.
Denis and the team at Tamr Terrace also fab.
Rizwan at 81 buffet breakfast was very informative and friendly.
Our room attendant was brilliant! - very clean room and water replenished regularly.
It is hard to cover everyone as this review would be pages long but I would like to mention the concierge guys and buggy drivers - thank you.
If I have any gripes it is that when the hotels are at capacity the breakfast service gets a little chaotic and it would be great if the lock on the ladies toilet cubicle (4th one along) at La Fontana pool could be fixed...it's been over 2 years!
When booking it is important to know that the Lake View offer two dining options for all inclusive. Ultra all inclusive and all inclusive buffet only. Make sure you book the one you want.

We have just returned from a weeks break at this beautiful hotel. The rooms are extremely well equipped and toiletries as soap, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel replaced daily.
We had the deluxe package and I would recommend upgrading for 3 days to ultra all inclusive, which enables you to visit the speciality restaurants. We managed to do this on a Friday which meant we could dine at the outstanding brunch featured every Friday. The barbecue, seafood, cheeses, and deserts at this brunch is absolutely outstanding and must not be missed!
For my husband and I we found the hotel to be very relaxing without the usual scrum which you often find at all inclusive hotels.
Lastly I would like to say that our holiday was made very special by the incredibly friendly and helpful staff at this hotel who could not do enough for us.
I would like to make a big thank you to the concierge Adeoye who we found pleasant and extremely helpful going out of his way to ensure we were well informed about the resorts facilities. He is a wonderful asset to the lake view hotel!
Also the pool staff.. Wilson...Michael... and capachino absolutely lovely people.
Would we return? Absolutely without hesitation.

Spent 6 nights at the hotel while we were in Dubai to take care of a few things before we left after 9 years living in the city. We chose the hotel based on the price & a general curiosity. The location also suited us because we needed easy access to the theme park destination, Dubai Parks & Resorts. The hotel building is beautiful with a sleek glass exterior. Each room has a balcony and because it's location, there is little external noise. The resort is low rise with 5 floors and these are built around a gorgeous atrium. Off the atrium there are a couple of restaurants which we did not have time to try. We did order room service and highly recommend it.
The hotel has been open around 4 months & there were times when it showed. We had to change rooms mid-stay due to a lack of hot water that was not fixed (and no explanation was offered). That said, the room change was done willingly and quickly. Extra hangers took 1.5 hrs to be delivered & our room service table was not collected despite us calling to let the team know it was ready. On our last night the TV switched on in the middle of the night for some reason! Minor things that did not spoil our stay in any way.
Got an incredible rate for the quality of the property, its location & the level of service. The rate included breakfast which is extensive. Particular kudos to the chef at the omelette station. Best omelettes ever! We also enjoyed the self service tea station with hot water flasks. For tea drinkers it's paradise!

+1
My sister and I stayed here over a weekend, and the hotel is absolutely stunning, the whole design, architecture and lightening inside the hotel is just incredible! Immediately we were welcomed by very polite door staff who helped us with our bags and one of them had a friendly conversation with us as we walked into the hotel and showed us to the reception desks.
Check in was simple and we got our room key straight away, the room was gorgeous and very modern.
It didn't take us long to want to explore the hotel and all the fun activities they had to offer. There is a shuttle bus that picks hotel guests up from the hotel to the JA sports center where we went to give the shooting range a try. There is also a golf buggy that picks hotel guests up to take you to and from the JA beach hotel which is only less then 5 minute drive. So this was really helpful.
The hotel has a number of restaurants, bars and even a rooftop bar which is stunning. We ate at the kinara restaurant, which is a fine dining Indian cuisine and all the dishes were served with beautiful detail and high class service. The tastes of each dish was mind blowing with so many flavors.
The breakfast buffet was really nicely set up and they had a huge variety of food to choose from. And we had a view of the golf course while we ate our breakfast which was quite relaxing. Throughout our stay the staff were amazing, the service was excellent and the facilities were fabulous, so much to do and we loved the pool bar and the pool staff were so lively and chatty. We had so much fun during our stay.

Visited with family for my birthday, this new in September hotel is one of the best I have ever stayed in, before retirement I stayed in 100s.The rooms are a good size with everything you could require, spotlessly clean and one thing that impressed us was how well they are insulated from external noise. Every member of staff were there to make sure your stay was as good or better that one could expect, staff training was exemplary. With the package we had ultra all inclusive you can eat in other hotels within this package, every choice from Indian/Asian, Italian and so on, food and service was just brilliant.Make sure you visit Shooters a shooting range where you can fire all types of pistols, this you cannot do any longer in the UK a brilliant experience, then their restaurant which I rate as 5*.While we were there the place was the busiest it has been since opening (96%) but didn't feel crowded. For the golfers you will find the 9 hole hotel course very challenging, again professionally run with with all the facilities you can want and not busy when we played there twice. Shuttle busses take you from hotel too hotel and run every 15 mins........To sum up SUPERB ALL ROUND !

Beautiful designed hotel lovely spacious open areas.
Check in lovely & quick paid to upgrade to room facing pool although would have preferred 2 beds in room rather than a sofa bed but no upgrades available at the time.. you really need a suite for 2 adults 2 children ..
booked with ease all Restaurants for 5 night duration..
Had a very stressful afternoon with pool staff trying to establish what was Ultra All inclusive Package very confusing was back & fourth to desk ended having a meeting with F&B manager who explained their concepts of why not everything was included!!!
Feel that they should down grade the Ultra To Full Board with Drinks it kind of gives you false perception of what you are getting in this Package.
It Took few hours to get food organised for 8 yr old coeliac and lots of calls but thankfully F&B sorted this the rest of the duration was taken care off..
The first Day was stressful & disappointing as our luggage never arrived we called in the evening to have it brought up , the sofa bed was not made up when we returned from dinner & had to call house keeping .
We where woke at 5am with noise from pool side blower..
Complained and spent more time talking with Manager who arranged a tour of whole resort to reassure me of my dissatisfaction and first impression of the hotel.
I feel like I was cheated out of a full day of relaxing trying to sort all of the above..
Thankfully all the Staff done their upmost with Service Great Food the rest of our duration & Put on a Spectacular New Year Celebration & Entertaining New Years Day.
There was great choice of Restaurants and amazing food the service was impressive. The pool area was lovely and waiter service was fabulous, we would have liked to have spent more time at the other resorts & beach 5 days isn’t really enough.
Unfortunately we didn’t get to do the paddle boarding or horse riding but will consider returning as the Staff did justice and made our stay enjoyable..
Thank you to all Staff & Chefs who went out off their way to make sure that our family had an amazing few days.

We had a family holiday last week at this amazing resort. We had previously stayed at the Beach Hotel at least 15 times which is at the same resort and that was great but this new hotel surpasses even that. It was first class from checkin to checking out. The new restaurants are top quality and we had lovely food all week across the resort. We had a standard room but easily accommodated 2 adults and teenager. The room has lovely furnishings and very nice large comfortable bed. The bathroom was particularly high quality with a powerful rain shower. The family swimming pool is enormous with so much room and no issues about not finding any spare sun loungers even at 11am ! We had great service from all staff but especially Vipin at the pool and the manager at Shooters who went extra mile to make sure we were happy. Richard Kirkby

We stayed here for 5 nights travelling from the UK at the start of January. We have previously stayed at one of the sister properties and so we know the area.
We arrived early in the day having flown overnight from the UK and were really pleased to be able to checkin and go straight to the room. (Previous stays at the sister hotel have not been so accommodating). The hotel is clearly brand new and it’s pristine inside and very spacious with a large atrium and wide corridors. The rooms are large and very well appointed and we liked the Alexa in the room.
We ate in the buffet restaurant for breakfast on the terrace and that was a lovely stay to the day. We ate in 5 different restaurants across the complex .. some in this hotel but also others in the sister hotel and the quality of food is always high.
We spent most days by the pool and the pool bar and service were always good and a special mention to Lin who helped us most days and was keen to engage and predict what we would need. The other staff were equally engaging and overall that’s a well managed part of the hotel.
We heard other guests suggesting that the billing needed to be checked - but that’s easy as Bill is on the TV and over 5 days we had 1 error which was rectified.
The hotel isn’t perfect - we had the usual hotel challenge of the room key just stopping working — frustrating but all hotels have this around the world. I also still don’t think that Dubai really knows how to do All Inclusive so there are always lots of exclusions on every menu which can be frustrating. We don’t really drink much so it’s not a big deal but I think Dubai struggles between ‘high end’ and ‘quality’ so they have many drinks that cater to one part and that drives exclusions. That also means that you have to sign for every meal or drink .. although pool guys ran a tab all day ... and that’s not the AI experience in other countries.
The hotel is new and the staff are happy to help so overall this is a good addition to the area and would recommend.

My friend and I broke our long "no brunch" rule to try out JA Lake View Hotel's We Be Brunchin'. Overall, this new entry to Dubai's brunch scene seems to have set a good start.
The valet staff - some of the friendliest guys I've met - set the tone as we entered the hotel... echoed by the front of house staff, who quickly whisked us off to our reserved table.
The tables are spread out over the lower part of the lobby, facing the golf course, laid out into sections for breads and cheese, salads, deli/cold cuts, 2 dessert tables, seafood, children's area, roasts and Asian, pasta/paella, and grill/smoker. The menu was varied and catered more to European/continental dishes (Asian dishes seemed to be an afterthought although the make your own laksa was good). My personal favorite was the grill section, which offered slow cooked brisket and rib. I tried the latter and it came out moist and so tender. Desserts could use a bit of an improvement, as the cheese cakes were too soft and mainly differed in toppings. The carrot cake was a hit for me as it was moist and packed with flavor... however, I wished that it wasn't served as a tall stack.
Service after the front of house experience was a mixed bag, particularly with clearing tables and beverages. For most of our 2 hour experience, our empty plates took some time to get cleared. The same story with glasses. My friend and I had the soft package and, while most of the diners who took the alcohol packages were given close attention by the staff, we weren't even told about the soft beverages available. While the tables around us had staff check on them, even had dishes delivered, we had to keep asking for even the simplest service (I spilled salt at one time and it stayed uncleaned the entire time. )
Overall, though, it was still a good brunch but I will probably wait for another month or so when the staff learns to give consistent service
