Hotel's Favorite
This was our first holiday to Dubai and cannot fault staying at the Anantara - everything was just amazing, we didn’t want to stay in a big high rise hotel and was really overwhelmed by all the choices of places to stay but we are SO happy we chose the Thai inspired chilled out Anantara. We stayed in a pool Access room which took our breath away when we walked in - so spacious for our family and the biggest bathroom possible ! All the items you need in the room- hairdryer, charging points, coffee machine, kettle, food choice of tea and coffee plus mini bar drinks and snacks. Room service is 24/7 and we used this a couple of times for lunch for our young son - food was amazing and delivered super quick. Bathroom had all the stuff you need- lovely Elemis products including shampoo/ conditioner/ shower gel in the walk in Shower. There was the biggest bath too but ran out of time to use it! It also had Gorgeous dressing gowns, flip flops and slippers. Lots of hanging space and drawers for Clothes with lovely big mirror and of course a safe for all your personal items. Our outside area was amazing, 2 sun loungers and towels Ready each morning ! We had the sun all day but could also move them into the shade if needed. When it gets too hot you can go back into the lovely cool air con room for water (unlimited bottles included) The pool is just amazing - we stayed in all day most days as we didn’t need to go anywhere else really - we were really wanting a relaxing holiday ! There is a seat/ ledge outside each room so you can sit in the water to keep cool and none of the pool Is really deep so perfect for swimming and playing. There is a small long tail boat that goes round each day offering drinks - I had an amazing fresh coconut with rum 🍹 You can buy inflatables there and there is often some To Borrow! The main pool is awesome too we did spend some time there and the Mai swim up bar is perfect ! It has the most beautiful view for sunset. There is so much choice for food and we tried everywhere - all amazing and great service. Highlights were the awesome Buffett breakfast at Cresendo - the choice is unreal and the quality just superb - such lovely customer Service and smiles from everyone there. My son ate pancakes with fresh strawberries every morning ! ( plus Nutella!) Another highlight is the Beach House- what can I say 🙌🏼 Pure holiday vibes here - right on the beach, amazing views, amazing sunsets, amazing cocktails, amazing food and what topped it off was a Thai Fire 🔥 show on the beach each night - they were soooo good ! We also had 2 evenings at Bushman’s - such a cool Place with awesome steaks 🥩 and the lovely Aussie manager Jack was super friendly. The choice of kids food in each restaurant was so Good and so much choice - there is even a kids section on the buffet in the evening. My husband had a Thai massage at the Spa and he said it was an good as being back in Thailand 🇹🇭 The general culture of the staff was just so genuine and attentive. They cannot do enough for you. We had the same lovely man clean our room each day who was so attentive and made sure the times he came We’re good. We could also use the app to organise table bookings and anything else we needed- it was super easy to use and you can get service at your sun loungers on the beach/ pool ! On our final night we were given a lovely gift, our Son’s name, painted in watercolour - so thoughtful. Amazing resort 😊 and we will definitely be back 🙌🏼

This hotel is stunning, the setting, the staff, the weather, just phenomenal. We stayed in a lagoon access room which was absolutely amazing. We stayed for 6 days, full board. The Room 4214 – spacious, clean and fully equipped. Housekeeping is another level here, I say this as former Assistant Head Housekeeper from a Mayfair Hotel. The Food – We loved all the restaurants, esp Mekong! (Asian Fusion) We were quite disappointed the Bushman’s had a lot of choices with supplements. (Steakhouse) Beach House offers a varied menu and we dined here for lunch most days. There is a buffet restaurant, but we didn’t eat there. Revo Café – we had breakfast/brunch here, the Manager, Inden was so friendly and very caring when my partner was taken ill, as he’s a diabetic (we had to take the food back to the room). The whole team there are very hard working. All the staff are so hard working. We loved the bathrobes so much, we purchased 2, this was kindly arranged for us by the Receptionist in the South Residence, he wasn’t too sure who to call, but called around until he got the right person. They were already in the room in gift bags by the time we got back to the room. We didn’t go to the beach or the main pool as the lagoon pool was on our doorstep. There is a man who serves cocktails in the lagoon pool, this is a great idea! The only issue we had, but this was not to do with the hotel directly. One morning we woke up and we could hear quite loud voices from the pool, when I went outside, a family (2 adults, 4 children) were on the ledge outside our room and coming up the steps towards our room. When they saw me, the mother gave me the side eye and looked very smug, I called my partner and he came out and asked them nicely to move along as we were coming out and wanted to sit on our ledge. For the next 30 min, the mother continued to give me very smug looks, but I’m really not sure why. After about 2 hours the family left and we never saw them again. This was the only negative experience we had. We cannot wait to come back here one day soon!

Dear Mrs Koo See Lin, Thank you for your incredible review! We are thrilled that you had an out-of-this-world experience at our resort. From the stunning setting to the phenomenal team members and weather, we are delighted that everything exceeded your expectations. It is wonderful to hear that your lagoon access room was absolutely amazing. We strive to provide spacious, clean, and fully equipped accommodations. As a former Assistant Head Housekeeper from a Mayfair Hotel, your praise for our housekeeping team means a lot. We take great pride in maintaining high standards, and we are glad you noticed the exceptional level of service provided by our team. We are delighted that you enjoyed the dining experience at our various restaurants, especially Mekong with its Asian Fusion cuisine. We apologise for any disappointment regarding the choices and supplements at Bushman's Restaurants and Bar. However, we are pleased to know that you found a varied menu and enjoyable meals at The Beach House, where you dined for lunch most days. We appreciate your feedback about the buffet restaurant, and we will take it into consideration for further improvements. We are grateful for your kind words about Inden, the Manager at Revo Café. It is heartwarming that he and his team provided friendly and caring service, especially during a challenging time when Mr Green fell ill. We hope he is feeling better now. The dedication and hard work of our entire team members is greatly appreciated, and we sare glad that you noticed their efforts. We are happy that you loved the bathrobes so much that you purchased two of them. Our Guest Service Agent in the South Residence went above and beyond to arrange this for you, and we are glad it was a seamless process. It is fantastic to hear that you enjoyed the lagoon pool, and the cocktail service provided by our team members in the pool was a great addition to your experience. We apologise for the negative experience with the family outside your room. We understand how that could have been disruptive and uncomfortable. Please know that we take guest privacy and comfort seriously, and we will address this matter to ensure it does not happen again in the future. We cannot wait to welcome you back one day soon. Thank you for your wonderful feedback, and we look forward to providing you with another exceptional stay. Best regards, James Hewitson Cluster General Manager

Hotel is superb, lagoon room with direct access to the pool was truly amazing. Facilities and beach were awesome - all of these are what I expect from Dubai top tier hotels. Jamal from housekeeping was brilliant at keeping our room tidy/clean - when you have 2 young boys, things get messy quick and nothing was too much for him. The issue is that for half/full board does not include any drinks (of any sort including water unless you bring your own from the room) at either lunch or dinner meals. You are then pushed towards their happy hour venues (BOGOF set up) but there is only one during evening meals and we didn't want to eat there...wouldn't be too much but it rapidly mounts up between 4 of you when a fizzy can is costing c. £7 each, fruit juices at c £8-9 and glasses of wine at £18 each. What was most frustrating was that this was not clear at any stage of booking and even the concierge told me that these were included when I arrived only to be told at my first dinner that this was standard...it became quite embarrassing. Just accept that if you want this hotel, you have got a lot more costs attached to it than just the headline values which look very attractive and none of the additional services are 'good value'.

Dear Mark G, Thank you for sharing your feedback on your recent stay at the superb resort with a lagoon room and direct pool access. It is wonderful to hear that the facilities, beach, and the overall experience met your expectations, reflecting the high standards of top-tier resort in Dubai. we are delighted to know that Jamal from housekeeping provided excellent service, ensuring your room was kept tidy and clean, especially when traveling with two young boys. However, I understand your frustration regarding the lack of inclusion of any drinks during the half/full board option, including water unless brought from the room. It is disappointing when such details are not made clear during the booking process, leading to unexpected expenses. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and understand how it could have been embarrassing, especially when you were informed otherwise by the concierge upon arrival. Your feedback about the additional costs associated with drinks at the resort's venues is duly noted. It is important for resorts to be transparent about any additional charges to allow guests to make informed decisions and manage their budgets accordingly. Once again, thank you for taking the time to share your experience, both the positives and the areas where improvement is needed. Wishing you memorable travels ahead. Best regards, James Hewitson Cluster General Manager
