Enjoyed our time in Dubia, lots of sightseeing & Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Fabulous hotel in a great location, lots going on & friendly helpful staff, especially Gayathree from Travel Saga… would definitely recommend & return!!
Thank you Travel Saga and media One Hotel for making my Dubai tour unforgettable. Our Travel agent Gayathree was superb. She recommended us the best dessert tours. The dessert safari was amazing and we really enjoyed the dune bashing. We highly recommend travel saga for anyone who is visiting Dubai. Thank you media One satff and hope to visit you guys again!.
Would like to thank Muhammed, Fatima and Sue for being extraordinary at their service. We had a medical emergency during our stay. Sue and her team went all out in helping us out of our way. Can't be thankful enough for the help and assistance.
The good: Modern design hotel rooms Affordable and central location. Not too far from Burj and Dubai Mall. Mr.Miyagi is really fun place to drink and sing karaoke with the whole crew Cobra Kai plays great music Decent breakfast Apple and Samsung can screen mirror from phone More liberal vibes and less restrictive feel Bad: Loud as hell at night bc of Cobra Kai bar located on 9th floor. We had to wear earplugs whenever we tried to sleep. Some dirty cups Small rooms Shower head that never stayed on the mount Poorly designed shower that would get the entire bathroom wet. Overall it was an okay budget hotel. We appreciated the cool modern designs but the showers and loud music at night did not make it as enjoyable as it should’ve been. If they can rectify the showers situation and maybe limit Cobra Kai nights to the Fri and Sat then it would make this hotel good for everyone and not just people coming here to party. We stayed on the 11th floor and it was way too loud. I can’t imagine staying on the 9th floor. Not sure if it the music could be heard on the top floor.…
Hi Just want to say that our tour adviser Gayathree was exceptionally good. She organised my tour up the Burj Khalifa and also my trip to the desert and BBQ dinner and camel ride Everything ran nice and smooth. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Nice eco friendly hotel to stay in.
Media One is a great location between the palm and the Palm, close to the metro. They know how to do customer service at this hotel and it is spotlessly clean. Gayathree the Travel saga consultant booked us a fab speedboat tour around the palm, which is well worth doing and I would recommend.
I booked a stay to disconnect from social media and rejuvenate. I needed some place that would be attentive to my needs but respectful of my privacy. I'm glad to say I did this successfully and it was in no small part due to the excellent hotel and sensitive staff. Great value.
The service: service was very good. The hotel messaged us the day before we arrived asking for our preferred check in time. We actually arrived around midday and they had the room ready for us. Sue was extremely careful to make us feel welcome and offered a bunch of useful advice. The room: nice, big windows, although the view was nothing to write home about (we had an inland facing room, so maybe that's expected). The room had good facilities, the only mild criticism was that the minibar was empty and items never added. The furniture was modern looking and comfortable, although the panelling on the drawers looked cheap and worn out. The tv was running and loungey music was playing as we came in, which was a nice touch. We couldn't get any of the channels on the tv to work, however (although I only spent a few minutes trying). The bad: at night, we could hear music from the pool bar into our room. The music was unacceptably loud - we could tell people were doing karaoke and could easily identify the songs playing. It made us feel like we were staying at a cheap motel with thin walls while the next door neighbours were having a party. We called reception who said they would see whay they can do. The music volume was never reduced. Luckily, I have good earplugs (35db sound reduction), which made it possible for us to sleep. Still, being forced to wear ear plugs to sleep is unacceptable and it boggles the mind that the noise was created by the hotel's own pool bar and that they refused to correct the issue. We mentioned the issue again at checkout: we said "the room was noisy". The response was "we are sorry for that, we will make sure it never happens next time". The promise felt empty, as they made no effort to investigate what the issue actually was (they didn't ask for follow up details, what was making the noise, how bad it was etc)…
We had a fantastic experience at Media One. The staff are attentive and very helpful, a special thanks to Gayathree from travel saga who put together an unforgettable desert safari for us. I would highly recommend Media One to anyone and will certainly be back!
Stayed at the Media One Hotel for a short two days stay for business. The staff is nice and friendly. They think with you and help you out! Rooms are nice! Location is good and you’re in walking distance from the harbor.
