Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favorite
I have stayed at this hotel for almost two weeks and it was a great experience!
The location is great, the hotel is in the city center and it is next to the subway station.
There are also great restaurants nearby and a supermarket right around the corner.
The hotel is what you can expect from an luxury property, but the service quality is kinda of a mixed bag.
During my entire stay I had a feeling that the majority of the front desk staff is quite overwhelmed with my request.
The first problem I had was the shower head, which didn't function at all and I had to call the front desk 3 times and they couldn't fix the issue. Only after complaining to the executive lounge staff they managed to fix my issue with the shower.
When I had basic request, like calling for room cleaning and restocking of amenities the staff on the phone didn't know how to respond to my request.
There was also no welcome when I returned to the hotel by any staff member downstairs which is kind of letdown for a luxury property, especially if you stayed there for over 10 nights. The staff downstairs and in the breakfast just doesn't seem to bother with remembering their customers.
The service at the breakfast buffet was also quite lackluster. While the breakfast selection was quite good, no one bothered with asking for any coffee or tea during my entire stay. The staff didn't take care of used tableware and they didn't replace my used cutlery. Even at 7 am when it was quite empty the staff would rather talk with themselves rather than serving the customers.
The breakfast itself was very good. You have a lot of selection and the quality of the food was very good. I enjoyed the food at the breakfast, especially the arabic options were a hit. The breakfast pizza and the omelets were also quite good. Sadly no Eggs Benedict, which is a must for me in a luxury property, but that's not a dealbreaker.
The best part about my entire stay was the executive lounge. The executive lounge has a great view and featured awesome snacks during the day.
While it was quite crowded during the happy hour the staff really tried the best to accommodate everyone.
I especially enjoyed talking with the staff members in the executive lounge. They remembered me even after the first day and were always attentive, nice and friendly. I had awesome conversations with a lot of them and I felt their passion for their work. They were really the highlight of my stay and I would spend the majority of my time in the lounge because it was just an awesome experience.
Every problem that needed fixing were handled as fast as possible and I didn't have any request that couldn't be fulfilled by the executive lounge staff. The staff in the lounge also spoke a lot better English than the staff downstairs, which made communicating with them a lot easier.
The In-Room dining experience was good, but the quality of some of the food was just alright. The cleanup took a lot of time and I had to call them multiple times one night.
The elite member treatment was really good and I got upgraded during my stay (standard room to executive and corner room).
The room itself is really big, even for the most basic room. It featured everything you expect from a luxury property and it was well cleaned throughout my stay. The sad thing about the room is that it is quite old and needs refurbishment.
While the executive room is just the standard room with executive lounge access (which you already have as an diamond member), I would recommend booking it if you are not a diamond member, because the executive lounge is as I mentioned the best part of the hotel.
The corner room on the other hand was a great room with an awesome view and I enjoyed the room!
I paid around 5900AED for my 12 night stay and I would do so again.
I recommend staying in this hotel for everyone, but definitely book an executive room if you do not have executive lounge access with your Hilton Honors Status. The service is top notch in the lounge, but everywhere else is just kind of mediocre. The hardware is quite dated but for around 500 AED a night it is worth every cent.

Having stayed at the Conrad Dubai a few years ago, we booked again for a three night stay. As Diamond member I was informed that the Club Lounge was closed due to the pandemic and that I would receive a nice upgrade to one of the hotels Suites.
Upon arrival we checked in but had to wait twenty minutes as staff would disinfect the room just prior to our arrival again. The room was on one of the top floors and had some stunning views over Dubai. We booked a room with two beds, they upgraded us to a Suite with one bed but provided an extra bed in the living room. The room itself was huge and had a separate guest washroom, immense living room with dining table. The bedroom was connected to the walk in closet and a large bathroom with tub and rain shower.
There was no welcome amenity as Diamond Member and also no welcome letter or information on what was/wasn't operating in the hotel. We were vaguely told that breakfast was only complimentary when ordering room service but could not find any info. We also later called front desk for some sparking water but that took 45!! minutes and three extra calls to get it to our room.
The pool was luckily open but bar service there ended very early. Parking was included and our car was always parked away instantly. However on check out early morning, it took ages to print the bill and the front desk staff clearly was not interested in feedback of our stay.
We would probably stay again but I hope next time all the five star details are right.

Stayed at the Conrad for a long weekend and was very impressed!
First of all would like to say that the hotel has implemented measures to ensure that it is adhering to the guidelines regarding Covid-19. There is separate lines for check in and Check out at the reception, hand sanitizers located everywhere and social distancing markers.
Had a room near to the top and was really happy with the space in the King room. very comfortable and roomy.
Ordered the In room dining and was helped by Edward in the team who provided suggestions on what I could order - the service was great and food was delivered within 30mins!
The Reception / Front desk staff was also very good - always helpful with any query or question.
Hotel is in a great location as it is next to a Metro whereby you can reach to many places of Dubai and its not far from Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall.
Overall more than happy with the Hotel. Definitely will be looking to stay once again there next time I look to visit Dubai!

I have just returned from an excellent 6 night stay here. The Executive room on the 42 floor was large, well maintained and lots of amenities. Room was quiet with good a/c and the bathroom was large well lit and a very large shower with a rainhead shower and a good bath. Bathrobes and slippers provided. My room faced towards the coast with a glancing view of Burj al arab and I could also see the old QEII liner.
Breakfast was in the restaurant and was excellent with a large variety of both arabic , indian and western food. Service was excellent and the staff welcomed me by name.
Wifi worked well
The fitness centre was very good and the pool was excellent and warm ( loved the arch waterfall which was illuminated at night)
The location is excellent with a footbridge just outside the hotel linking to the WTC Dubai metro with frequent links to the airport, zabeel park ( Dubai frame), Dubai Mall ( for Burj Khalifa and the fountains ) being 3 stops away and the Expo site in 50 minutes.
The Executive lounge was excellent providing breakfast, afternoon snacks and evening snacks and drinks ( coffee and soft drinks available at other times). The evening snacks were excellent. The stafg were fantastic and welcomed me back by name. On a couple of occasions I arrived just after the afternoon snacks and evening hours due coming back from the expo and burj khalifa on National day and the staff were able to get a small plate of items which i was most grateful and appreciative for and showed true conrad spirit. On the Friday after National Day I was fortunate to glance out of the lounge at 9pm and saw beautiful fireworks ( looked like from Le mer).
The Kimpo bar provided excellent Udon noodles
My only regret was forgetting to ask reception about the small Conrad camels that I uderstand were for sale for about AED80 as I would have bought a couple to take home.( I did not see them advertised)- but will have to come back to the Conrad in 2022 to enjoy the facilities and more of Dubai and the expo before it finishes in March
Overall a fantastic stay with excellent staff making it a very memorable stay.

The hotel was a short 10 minute ride from the Airport- but is far enough where you can escape the noise of jet engines.
The entrance to the hotel is what you would expect from a grand hotel. Very large and plush.
Staff are on standby to assist with luggage etc.
The foyer was sensational, check in was smooth and speedy.
I stayed on the 46th floor with a great view.
The room was excellent. Very spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean and posh. We had a bathtub, a large rainfall shower area and separate toilet area.
The room had a nespresso machine with complimentary pods which was a nice touch.
The room also has a easy to use multi purpose room control unit which allows a user to control the black out curtains, ambient lighting etc.
The Breakfast was amazing, and the service was top notch. They really do go out of their way to make the guest happy.
Fresh juices/smoothies available on order with a wide selection of international cuisines.
The breakfast area sits near the pool area which i must say is beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of Dubai.
The pool is temperature controlled.
The spa area- which is complimentary for guests, includes a sauna, steam and a large jacuzzi area.
There were 3 adults in my room, a fold out bed is provided but feels small if you are over 6ft. However i will say the fold out bed has a good mattress.
Over all great value for money.

I booked this hotel as a package deal via Emirates Holidays and I certainly was not disappointed.
It was hard choosing a hotel in Dubai taking into account all the amazing hotels I could have visited within my budget.
I eventually decided on Conrad Dubai as it ticked all the boxes regarding comfort, cleanliness, food, ease of travel, customer service and onsite facilities.
I could not fault the time spent at the hotel, save an incident with hotel security when my daughter went clubbing and returned in the early hours of the morning. She was very upset at how she was treated by security even after she showed them her key card and this put a dampener on the rest of her stay there. I did raise this issue with management when checking out, recommending that they revise their policy on how they monitor 'unwanted guests' at their hotel.
Notwithstanding, Conrad gets my full vote especially for:
1. Breakfast and the amazing staff who always said hello and took detailed note of my order from the very first day. Excellently cooked flavoursome breakfast dishes from different countries and freshly squeezed juices excited my palate every day.
2. A fully equipped gym.
3. Calm, peaceful and relaxed Spa experience.
4. Great outdoor pool (the waterfall was unfortunately switched off when I used the facility).
5. Onsite bars and restaurants. I particularly liked Cave and Seoul Sisters night at Kimpo, where we had three free cocktails per person during their relaunch. Both have amazing cocktails and really friendly staff.
6. Cleanliness of the room and hotel grounds and really nice range of toiletries. The shower was very effective and air-conditioning easy to regulate.
7. Ease of travel around Dubai as the train station is located directly opposite the hotel. This was a big winner for me as you can easily spend a lot of money commuting around by cab. I was taken advantage of the few times I took private cabs. Please ensure that you only use the state registered cabs - RTA, as they are regulated and way cheaper.
I did not enjoy the sea view from my room as it was only buildings and a construction site I could see for miles. Heavy morning smog also made it hard to see anything.
I will most certainly like to stay here again if I do return to Dubai again.

+1
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for 2 nights following a 15 day cruise. This is the 4th Conrad we have stayed at. The others were Cairo, Singapore and Bangkok. Last year we had the pleasure of staying in the 2581 Square foot Presidential Suite in Bangkok. Absolutely amazing experience!
I mention that experience as I wish to recognize an employee who went out of her way to please us in the executive lounge in Dubai. Her name is Jade and she is the hardest working hotel employee we have ever seen in all of our travels. We felt like royalty. She couldn't do enough for us and was always there early to refill tour drink and see if you needed anything. Way to go Jade.
I had a nice chat with her manager, Mathew. It was insightful how the hotel operates and how the industry is in Dubai.
The hotel is absolutely stunning. The lobby is very impressive with soaring ceilings and many wonderful seating areas to relax and socialize. Every member of the staff was so friendly and always had a smile.
Breakfast and evening canapes in the Executive Lounge were always very good. Prices for alcohol in Dubai are the most expensive we have seen anywhere so the 2 hour happy hour is a great investment by booking the executive level rooms. When wine and beer are going for $23 to $27 a glass CAD it sure doesnt take long to add up.
Very peaceful pool area with tons of lounge chairs. Very quiet and serene with a waterfall.
Concierge and doormen always so efficient with calling taxis and picking up and delivering bags.
Offered a 5 pm late check out and use of the Executive lounge until after happy hour. Very nice touch for Hilton's loyal guests.
Amazing location litterally the monorail station is across the road. Tou can hop on for 8 Durhims, about $ 3 CAD and go anywhere in the city. Taxis are extremely cheap in Dubai though. We paid 16 dirhams to take the train and it was only 24 Durham back in a taxi.
I highly recommend everything about this hotel. Classy, clean and the best service! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

I had a chance to stay at Conrad Dubai earlier in March 2020. Hotel benefits with great location to access key sites in Dubai, however it is more business location that leisure. I enjoyed it as we were visiting key locations on a daily basis and therefore we had an easy access everywhere. Style of the hotel is grand as most of the things in Dubai, however some features are dated yet well maintained. The most amazing feature is their outdoor swimming pool. Its a secret garden, wonderful for relaxing and enjoying few drinks. They have a pool bar open throughout the day, although some dishes were great, I found their menu rather boring and very expensive. Not many healthy options were available, however service at the pool bar was brilliant. Especially Esma, Turkish girl from Bliss 6 she was a sweetheart. Very nice, guest oriented and service minded however also really personal, she always made sure to welcome us back and thank us for the visit and had a small chat with us. We wish her all the best and hopefully we will come back to Conrad and catch up with Esma. Otherwise, we really loved well appointed bedrooms and very nice housekeeping service, always on time and very detailed. Thank you Conrad, we had an amazing time and we hope to come back soon. Also, we would like to thank Front Office team for extending late check out to us on a complimentary basis, as this made it easier for us before late night flight.

We were a bit apprehensive about staying at this hotel as we had a wonder time at the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah the previous year. We could not be any more wrong especially as the cost was a ¼ of the Hilton, Jumeirah.
I have to admit we had emailed the hotel prior to our 5:00 AM arrival and was surprised the room was ready and waiting for us.
The Conrad Dubai is a luxurious hotel with excellent transport link to the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall using both Dubai Metro and Taxi and walking distance to the World Trade Centre.
Our suite was “spick and span” with housekeeping providing a nice and discrete service throughout the entire stay. They even assisted us with our days out bag and shopping.
If you are in an executive room or a Hilton Diamond, the lounge is the perfect place to have your breakfast, dinner and afternoon tea and the food is good enough should you wish to not leave the hotel.
The swimming pool is very relaxing and shaded should you wish to stay out of the sun and I thoroughly enjoyed the sauna and steam room.
We felt welcomed by the entire Conrad Team and nothing was lacking.
The Conrad Dubai is now rated as “Our go to hotel” in Dubai and we cannot stop recommending it to our family and friends.

We stayed at the Conrad in Jan 2020 having considered a number of hotels on Sheik Zayad Rd , and we are very glad we chose it. The hotel itself is stylish , beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. There are a variety of good places to eat within the hotel . We ate at Kimbo ( a trendy Korean bar specialising in Chicken ) and also The Cave ( a super relaxed wine cave specialising is wine cheese and ham ) . The breakfast buffet was amazing , with the widest variety to cater for everyone. The pool area is absolutely stunning and provides the lots of places to basque in the sun with lots of palm trees offering shade.
Our room was also stunning ! We were situated on the Sheik Zyad Rd side and had an amazing view of Dubai with a partial view of the Burj Khalifa . Top tip ... If you want to see amazing sunrises , chose the Sheik Zayad Rd side , if you want to see the sunset chose the back of the hotel .
the best thing about the Conrad for me was the staff . They were warm , friendly and extremely helpful . We travelled as part of an anniversary celebration to which the hotel staff added some lovely personal touches . Thank you especially to Harion for the amazing room decoration !!
This was truly a 1st class hotel stay !!
