We visited the QE2 and booked the tour with Peter Warwick of the tour department. We were amazed, entertained and astounded at Peter’s knowledge and passion for this vessel. Congratulations to the Dubai for maintaining this historic ship. I would highly recommend the the tour and next time I’m here I would defiantly do it again. The buffet on the Lido restaurant was very good. If visiting the ship you should take time to enjoy the dining experience. Brilliant!

Great Staff, an amazingly unique experience. The hotel is newly built on a 58-year-old Queen Elizabeth II which is now docked at Dubai Mina. May hotels and a theater is already operational and providing good value for money.

we booked ourselves on the QE2 for an overnight with brunch for the Eid weekend. It was a busy weekend and the ship was fully booked. I've seen the QE2 during my school days, docked in the Cochin port as part of its World cruise and to be on-board was definitely a thrill. Also being a history buff, enjoyed exploring the old beauty deck by deck. However, once the novelty factor wears off, you'll find urself left in a void of nothing to do for the rest of your stay. The checkin took forever, and the wifi was getting disconnected frequently, probably as they were booked to full capacity. The rooms are really nice, we were booked in a Deluxe room, however as the room interiors are redone, doesnt really feel the old world charm once you enter your room. Just feels like any other hotel room! vast amount of real estate in the form of corridors and common areas are left unattended and u can just wander around feeling the old. The pool is indoor on one of the decks below and is more or a glorified tub!! emits strong chlorine smell, contained in the limited space around! the brunch was really good and totally the saving grace for an otherwise uneventful stay. Theres a lot of potential that can be tapped to make this a much more attractive option. Till then I would suggest a visit to one of the restaurants and a walk around to get the feel of the vessel, than spending on staying onboard!
