The Gevora Hotel boasts spacious rooms with stunning views that have won the approval of many guests, though the praise is tempered by reports of cleanliness issues and elevator delays. While the atmosphere is deemed stylish and comfortable, some visitors feel the rooms lack modern luxury. Cleanliness experiences vary, with some commendations for spotlessness alongside critiques of housekeeping inconsistency.
Despite its prime location near attractions and transport, the hotel's value is contested due to perceived high costs and additional fees. Service quality appears to be a mixed bag, with both commendations for staff friendliness and grievances about service responsiveness.

I watched many a YouTube review before deciding to stay at The Gevora (the Tallest Hotel in the World). I truly believe that the surroundings in which one vacations and the way one is treated can heavily influence the pleasure a person experiences while on vacation and in this the Gevora did not disappoint. The checkin staff were courteous accommodating and operated with smooth efficiency getting us into a room quickly and without any additional cost, despite our early arrival. We had a premium 1 bed room suite. This 600+ square foot suite has a powder room living room space kitchenette with 2 burner stove dish washer washing machine refrigerator and tea/ coffee station. Also, amenities such as a bathrobe, slippers iron and ironing board are standard. However, upon reaching the room my husband and I had some reservations and requested a change. I must say that the Gevora staff expended a great deal of effort and showed us not 1 but 3 additional rooms. We love the room we selected on the 55th floor. The manager Mr. Mina Marcqus, concerned about our experience personally intervened to ensure our satisfaction and for this we were extremely appreciative. The following day was my Birthday and I received a pretty Birthday cake and fruit bowl plus a dinner voucher. Each day of our stay the staff reached out to us and offered their 24/7 availability. WOW Gevora and Mr Marcqus you guys are living up to the Dubai reputation of being the best at service! You have really made this a most memorable birthday!

So I finally booked a night's stay in the world's tallest hotel and I guess "Excellent" is the appropriate word to sum up my overall experience.
Checking-in:
The check-in time is at 1500H so around 1200H-1500H, the hotel lobby and reception area can get busy and a bit crowded due to the influx of guest simultaneously checking in and checking out. The hotel lobby is not that spacious so you may see some guests standing up as most seats are occupied. However, the ushers, bell boys and receptionists will never fail to make you feel comfortable as they will help you with your luggages and find you a suitable spot to wait. The receptionist are surprisingly fast in checking in guests and at the same time, so polite, courteous and friendly in dealing with guests.
Me and my friend checked in with Receptionist Maica and we both think she is quite exceptional in customer service. She was so courteous and professional in dealing with us. She offered us options to upgrade our room (for a very minimal fee) which made out stay even more special as we got a room with a burj khalifa view. She was also able to give us an early check in. Ms. Maica deserves a great compliment.
Room:
The room is surprisingly big. It is fully equipped with touch panels to control the room lighting, a fully functional kitchen, a washing machine and other essential things needed for a comfortable stay. The bed is huge and soft and the linens smell fresh. The washroom is of decent size, complimented with a complete set of bath kits and toiletries. It also has a bath tub. And as promised, our room is situated in a way where we can see Burj Khalifa on one side and Sheik Zayed road on the other side . Looking at Burj Khalifa during the night from the window is a spectacle on its own.
Amenities:
The hotel has an outdoor pool on the 12th floor which still offers a view of Burj Khalifa. It also has a complete and fully functional gym. Gevora has a number of restaurants but we only tried The Highest View Restaurant situated at the hotel's rooftop (70ish floor). Review will be posted separately.
Rate:
With all if the amenities that we enjoyed, it is a suprise that we paid less than expected

After reading mixed reviews, we were slightly hesitant before booking this property.
However, we were pleasantly surprised upon check in. We were given room with a direct view of Burj Khalifa.
It had a small kitchenette, a big fridge and all amenities.
There were 2 toilets and the bed was comfortable.
Service was good .
The swimming pool area is wonderful and the spa( steam and sauna) is wonderful as well.
We were extremely satisfied and pleased with our stay.
It would be nice if the shower area is worked upon and if a microwave is provided in the kitchen.
The location is perfect with a 5 min walk to Financial centre metro station, lots of restaurants, convenience stores and everything a tourist may need.
Taxis are easily available to and fro.
Would definitely recommend this place!!

We booked the room from 2nd to 06th January , two couple opted for 2 room suite Hotel location is good rooms are small and the service is worst , we opted for kitchen so we can cook anything but they don’t even provide you microwave or utensils to cook and when you ask them to atleast provide the utensils or microwave they say it’s not in the package. If we are not getting these facilities so why are they providing the kitchen and why we opted for the appartment room that’s expensive from other rooms . I will not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in the Financial Heart of Dubai. There is 'The Financial centre' metro stn.,and Gate Avenue(mall, restaurants etc) at walkable distances. We had chosen a one bedroom suite. Hand Sanitizers were provided almost everywhere in the hotel and they strictly instructed everyone to wear face masks. Our room was on the 30th floor with an amazing view of the Dolphin towers, Burj Khalifa etc. The room had a luxury look with a separate kitchen as well. There were 2 Televisions supporting apps but the Wifi was a bit slow. Car lovers will love the car exhibition in the 12th floor. They have a pretty awesome collection from movies like Batman,XXX2 and classic cars too. They have a swimming pool, jacuzzi pool and kids pool in addition to gym, sauna and steam bath facilities. In the pools, they allowed women to wear only bikini type swimwear and the Islamic swimsuit was not allowed(they said it was due to the Covid 19 protocol). It caused great inconvenience to us as we had a 3yr old son and my wife was not allowed to even stay in the kids pool with him and by the time they finally agreed, we were already preparing to leave the pool after 2hours. We have never had such an experience in other hotels even at the time of Covid 19.
The breakfast buffet was delicious especially the pastries. We need to choose the food from the pics they show us and they serve it on our table accordingly. The Restaurant at the topmost floor has breathtaking view of Dubai, especially at night.
The staffs are friendly and provides swift service and Gevora is a really clean hotel

Last minute bookings sometimes give you the best deals. (Thanks to Ms. Sharon for the hassle-free booking!)
Last 18th of May, my husband and I checked in at the world’s tallest hotel. We were warmly greeted by the staff and was swiftly checked in by the male receptionist whose name I forgot to note down.
The room was nice and big with complete amenities; if in case anything is missing, you can always ask and they would gladly send it to your room right away.
We were able to visit the exclusive car exhibition, wander and enjoy the view from the rooftop, and relax in our night dip in the overview pool. The swimming pool, by the way, is open until 10pm. Isn’t that a plus point?!! At the Gevora’s Kitchen, you shouldn’t miss the eggs benedict on your breakfast buffet. It simply is the best!
I hope the management will consider having the windows cleaned to give guests a better view outside while staying at the hotel.
Overall, I can say that our stay was worth it given the very relaxing room and attentive staff. I appreciate the birthday cake from the hotel as well!
Till next time, Gevora!

I went there with my family to stay at Gevora Hotel Dubai for 3 days in December. The hotel staff welcomed us and they were very kind & cheerful. The receptionist was very nice & gave us an astonishing room as we wished on the 67th floor. The elevator is super fast & we got in the room, we were surprised by how magnificent the views are on both Sheikh Zayed road and downtown Dubai are. The decoration is also modern & nicely furnished. It was so spacious and had 2 bathrooms which was a great bonus. Room service was perfect and cleaned neatly. We also enjoyed the fabulous pool area with its crystal clear pool which is one of the best maintained pools in Dubai. The views on the pool floor were mesmerizing of the towers in downtown and DIFC area. The hotel is located in a perfect spot on Sheikh Zayed road and it is a 5-minute drive away from Dubai mall and all Downtown Boulevard shops. There are lots of restaurants & supermarkets all around the hotel. The only point that I would love to mention that needs improvement is the programming of the elevators as they tend to stop many times & it takes a lot of time to move from floor to floor if the hotel is a bit crowded. Overall, it was a stay to remember and we will be back again.

It all started already before the check in, as i wanted to storage my luggage till my check in at 3pm. The Guy who took my luggage just dropped it somewhere in the Lobby area in the middle of a huge Luggage Chaos, after arguing with him that i wont accept him leaving my luggage unsecured there he finally put it in the storage room. After i came back at 5pm what is 2hours after the guaranteed check in time, they told me my room isn’t ready, i have to wait another 40minutes without any sorry! When i finally checked in, he gave me a room at the 60Floor with a nice view to the Burj Khalifa, the view would be nice if the windows wouldn’t be so massively dirty that i cant even enjoy the view! After i finally came to my Room the Room key wasn’t working so i had to go all the way down to fix it and please keep in mind that the elevators are so slow that it takes you quite a while to go up and down again. The following day my room key wasn’t working again, after i went down to fix it again i asked the guy to please fix my key, i asked him if he knows the room nr. And he told me yes, after ignoring me and doing anything else instead of helping me he finally asked me after 5minutes which room nr i have?!! Please know that there weren’t any other guests so he wasn’t busy with anything important! The day after my key wasn’t working again, what is absolutely not acceptable as they do not change anything or even feeling the need to be sorry for the inconvenience! I travel around the world often and i stay in many different hotels every year and i had never experienced such a bad service as i do right now!

Me and my wife stayed in Gevora Hotel in February 2022 and I must say it did not meet our expectations. We booked it for a week since we were really interested in the hotel that claims to be the world’s highest hotel. I must say the standards were not even close to the highest mark. On arrival the 500AED security deposit for a hotel room is ridiculous! The hotel room was falling apart as numerous scratches on surfaces, burnmark on the carpet and grease not cleaned up from the kitchen floor to start with. Toilet ceramic had a rupture and leaking water, towel hanger falling off from wall is unacceptable. Cleaning needed to be requested otherwise they never showed up to do it. All this considering the hotel is only 4 years old! Out of 6 elevators 1 was under maintainance for the whole time we were there, and usually it took 15-20 minutes of waiting time to go up and down. Balcony doors are not insulated and even though fully closed you can hear everyhing from outside as if the doors were open. Pool area and the view from there is beautiful though pool tiles are cracked and falling apart at some places.
Staff was slow, unresponsive at times and seemed unorganized especially at the hotel’s restaurant on the first floor. Not really the standard you would expect at this hotel. The hotel has a dinner offer (all you can eat for 79 AED from 18-23 every day) which seemed like a fair deal but when we went to try it they tossed a piece of paper to put check marks with a pen on what we want (no description of the meals or anything just a list with empty boxes to check like lottery numbers. Additionally if we leave food there will be charged and extra 20% to our bill. Nonsense for a 4* hotel!!!
Finally the hotel has a restaurant on the highest floor which we really wanted to try since we had a birthday celebration during our stay. People have to pay 100 AED JUST TO ENTER the restaurant. It is ridiculous that hotel guests have to pay the same amount to get in there as if random people from the street decides to go and have dinner.
Also we had to pay the tourist tax again at check-in even though we paid that already when we completed the booking with all fees and taxes.
Location is nice easy access to metro, restaurants and bars.
All in all the hotel was a huge disappointment and we will NOT recommend it to anybody.

Hi my friend
We came through a travel agency that had a transfer from the airport to the hotel. But you can take the subway to the hotel only in Terminal 1 and 3. The subway near Jura Hotel is the financial center station.
We will arrive at the airport at 9 pm the check in start at 3 pm it will be a problem if i come at 10 pm or smth like that?

Location - very conveniently located for exploration of the city (100m to Metro station and 1-stop away from Burj Khalifa/Mall of Dubai). Room was clean, well-equipped and spacious. Views from higher rooms are breathtaking. Staff was very nice and helpful.
