We spent three nights here arriving at 6.00am tired and weary - thankfully we were met by Mina and Haviz who cheered us up, sorted our room and let us have breakfast - 10/10 for arrivals.
The hotel is very clean and every member of staff we dealt with was polite and helpful, in every area of the hotel operation. The only slight issue is the size of the pool area which is on the small side. The location is great and we watched the sunrise from the Dhow wharf in front of the hotel each morning.
In the evening we took coffee in the Vanilla Coffee Lounge where we were served by Dinla who was super-cheerful and wise beyond her years. Again 10/10 and will surely be General Manager by the time we return next year!
A great, complaint free, relaxing stay, we will be back.

My wife and I have just returned from our 5th stay at Al Bandar Rotana Creek, and are once again very happy about the experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and luxurious, the service is warm and caring and the price mark is very good compared to the great quality delivered.
One of the things that we like very much about with this hotel is the people working there that we have met before on out visits. In our opinion, Al Bandar Rotana must be a very good place to work, since several of the people we meet have been with the hotel from the start.
Corona precautions Our stay was in beginning of October and Corona precautions were well in place at the Hotel. We felt very safe in the hotel, with people wearing masks while not seated, sun loungers on pool deck being disinfected after each use, lots of places to disinfect your hands, temperature measurements upon entering certain public areas and so on. It was all done in a way that was effective - but at the same time did not feel too disruptive on our stay at all.
Club access Our stay was in a Club Room, but the Lounge was closed during our stay, as was the Salt & Pepper buffet restaurant for breakfast. That did not affect us negative in any way, since our breakfast was being served a la carte in Gusto, afternoon tea was in Vanilla and evening canapes were avaible at Morgans. We felt that this was all a very good alternative to the normal lounge access.
Service We have always received excellent service on our previous stays at Al Bandar Rotana, and this was repeated again – from Marilyn in the reception to Shokh at the Deck, from Dinda in Vanilla to Sudiht at the Pool, to mention only a few. Thank you all very much, we can’t wait to be back in February!

I stayed at the Al Bandar Rotana for 2 weeks in December after a spur of the moment booking before the new year began. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would certainly come back after the excellent stay I had. The food was amazing, with the lunchtime service being my favourite part of my stay - taking in the amazing view of “New Dubai” whilst enjoying delicious food. The room was modern, very well cleaned and comfortable. My advice for the rooms would be try and get a creek side room on the higher floors, however if you struggle with sleeping then you may want a different side as from my floor (8th) you could hear some of the larger vehicles.
Following on from my point on the lunchtime service - the poolside staff were brilliant, the lifeguard team, especially Omo, were very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. They also managed the sun beds well and ensured that every bed was sanitised and remade with new towels before use. Shokh was also a highlight of the lunchtime service providing excellent knowledge of Dubai and even better service - he was missed on the days he was not in.

The hotel room is beautiful. The service at the hotel is top notch, and the staff truly go out of their way to help you. I primarily used Uber to get around and I was always able to get a car nearby which helped as well. This hotel is closer to the old DUBAI, but that wasn’t a problem for me. I was able to get everywhere I wanted without a problem. I also choose this hotel because of their restaurant options. After a long day of tours, I don’t want to think about where to go for dinner. Room service is top notch and they have an amazing meal deal for 2 people that is super cheap and extremely tasty (actually, the chicken biryani was the best I’ve ever had)! The breakfast buffet was also excellent. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

I have waited for more than two hours to check in. The room I was given was far under the expectation of 5 stars hotel. They tried to sort out another option and I agreed. The hotel facilities are average but needs improvement ( e.g. kids club, swimming pool and spa). We have asked the room service for a shower gel and I have received it after 50 mins. Overall and to me I believe the hotel is not a 5 star in terms of facilities and services and I would prefer to try alternative in Dubai next time.

After a short city break in London we travelled to Dubai for 5 nights and wanted something both luxurious and good quality but not at a mega Dubai price. It to9k me ages to book a hotel but I’m glad I chose this one. Room was fab, well furnished with comfy beds and fantastic bathroom. View from window was of Downtown Dubai at no extra cost. We chose a Club room which gave access to the lounge with complimentary coffees, teas etc during the day and then afternoon tea between 3-5 pm with home made cakes, scones and pastries. This also gave complimentary bar between 6-8pm as a welcome start to the evening. We stayed half board and breakfast and dinner were of a similar height quality. The Asian buffet on Thursday was out of this world. Hotel is on the creek and has fab views especially from the infinity pool. All in all a wonderful find, and a most pleasure able stay. Will be back - thank you!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who loves peaceful area along with the new, clean, beautiful arrangements through out the hotel, scintillating smell around the lobby and room. This hotel has all up to date systems with the magic glass in the bathroom for couples. Nice bedding, efficient staff, and to add the cherry is there Breakfast, many choices with great taste.
COVID - - many sanitizing dispenser through out the hotel, contactless check out and check in. And most likely you will be changed from the hotel to hotel apartment side, which is a bonus truly

Initially stopped off in Dubai for a 13 days break on my way back to China and return to work. Following a few minor issues of noise on the first day, I was immediately offered a selection of rooms to review with the Front Desk Manager accompanying us and transferred to an alternative room. The hotel is nothing short of perfection, location is ideal overlooking the Dubai creek and the dhows loading the goods in transit, room quality, service, breakfast and above all, the friendliness and family attitude and assistance of EVERY member of the staff, from the room cleaner to Management. The holiday was almost like staying with family, the entire staff were friends! At breakfast time, recognised by face and our preferences dealt with before we asked. I am unable to fault this hotel in any respect, location or Staff. Nothing short of perfect.

This was our third visit here and great to see that standards are still as high as ever, despite the challenges of COVID. The staff are unfailingly polite and helpful and go out of the way to please. We arrived at 6 am in the morning and were given our room (including an upgrade) by 9 am. We had to quarantine in the room on the first day, so relied on room service and just enjoyed the amazing view of the creek. The food was excellent even if the service was sometimes a bit hit and miss! The swimming pool and spa on the 13th floor were spotless and sanitised regularly by the pool staff. Shokh, who served us in the Deck area by the pool was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I had hurt my back before I left for Dubai and was in considerable pain. Shokh kindly fetched me a cushion for the chair and must have mentioned my problem to the Spa manager. The next thing I knew was that he had booked me an appointment in the Spa with a Thai masseuse who he said was particularly skilful in sorting back problems. I was very apprehensive about letting someone lose on a disc problem but I have to admit that (despite the treatment being very painful) she did an amazing job and although I did not find out her name, I hope by way of this review, that the manager can pass on my gratitude.

The marina is a bit far from the hotel. Using the metro is not expensive, but by taxi it might cost you around 70 to 80 dirhams other than the traffic jam around the hotel during certain hours of the day.

We booked as an add on when booking the hotel. As per other comments it was very reasonable (about £40 in total) and the car was a large Lexus and the service was superb.
There are more places to choose from in the Dubai area.
