Really enjoyed our recent trip to Dubai. It was a new place for us to visit on business and the staff could not be more helpful. The house keeping team (Engg and Gulshan) Tech support team (Arjun) were particularly great. Super clean rooms, bathrooms, turn down service and always pleasant and happy - outstanding a credit to the hotel.
We spent a week in the Radisson blue hotel waterfront the staff was very good .especially Hamdi he was really nice and helpful we asked him for several things to the room and he was never late in delivering them . He always has a smile on his face and ask us if we need any thing he is really lovely. The room was very clean and spacious. The swimming pool is very small and there is no enough chairs to everyone first come first served.
Stayed for New Year with family. I like the Radisson Blue mostly for their staff. This hotel is no exception. Friendly, competent, skilled, and motivated staff helping wherever they can. Great customer service during reservation. Check-in and check-out was fast, efficient, and friendly. Some stuff missing in the room. Called housekeeping and it was delivered in no time. Great. Same with room service. Fast and friendly. The Business lounge is nice and offers different drinks and snacks. The architecture is not so nice, as there is no view, except on the under-roof of the arrival drive-way. The suite was nice and comfortable with a good view on the Burj. It has a bit a strange shape around two corners. The balcony is small, but balconies in Dubai cannot be used most of the year, anyway. The room itself was quiet and the beds offered a great sleep quality. The bathroom had a generous size. Most everything was in perfect working condition. The curtains in the bedroom would not really close, as they have been damaged and not repaired. Not perfect but acceptable. Cleanliness overall was good with some dust in corners, but for Dubai that is very good. So overall a nice experience and very happy. The only thing, which really frustrated me, was the fact, that the hotel did not enforce the basic Corona measures mandated by the Dubai Government. Some guests and even staff walking around with mask below the nose, or no mask at all (e.g. in the hair style studio). That was disappointing.…
Having stayed at Many Radisson hotels over the years, this was a real let down. On Arrival (at 2am) Phone not working couldn’t call room service for a small snack and extra tea bags (2 people in room, 4 coffee sachets but only 1 english breakfast t-bag) Sink not draining Next morning we noticed: Stains in bath Toilet seat loose Bath grouting very dirty black and mouldy in areas Bath wall panels not clean Glass shelves very dusty Dirt under glass on desktop A general feeling the room was not clean at all. There was a label covering the door saying they had put extra effort in to cleaning the room. That was clearly marketing bull! Some of the issues were resolved over 3 seperate discussions with staff but the toilet seat and stains in bath were never sorted. I appreciate we didn’t pay top dollar for the room but having stayed in many RB hotels over the years, this is not the cleanliness and room maintenance standard I expect from RB and it has tainted my opinion of the brand. In fact I would say the rooms were “tired.” My wife said she will never stay in an RB hotel again! Not great. On a positive note, the staff were excellent and the breakfast really good so full marks there. Having run a customer service business for many years, I appreciate you can’t get it right all the time but the one area that concerned me the most was the lack of complaint coordination. Every time I spoke with the duty manager, I had to cover old ground and repeat the issues. I asked one if she had been briefed at shift handover about our issues and she knew nothing. Clearly there should be a handover of room issues until they are resolved. In my mind this was a big failure in resolving the problems. We were offered to take the pool drinks off our bill and had a free courtesy shuttle to our next hotel but left with some problems not resolved and frankly a tarnished experience. We stayed 2 nights at the Sheraton Dubai Creek. It was cheaper and beautifully clean. . I’d recommend you stay there instead. The standard is so high in Dubai in general that this hotel is falling behind it’s competitors. …
Location is very good, near to Burj Khalifa and Dubai mall, only 15min by foot Staff is friendly and professional, breakfast is good. About tours and activities, we organized Desert safari thanks to Mr.Loyd, because ot the tour desk there was nobody.
