We made experience with Media Rotana during our quarantine 10 days stay in November. We were tested positive in advance of our departure from Dubai when stayed in another hotel. Although this hotel promised us to extend our stay so that we might complete the quarantine there finally we were moved to Media Rotana as we understood they cooperate with DHA (Dubai Health Authority) and allocated some rooms for positive tested tourists. It is truth to say we would never choose this hotel for our stay in Dubai even for a business trip. But it´s good to say that I have heard about other tourists experience when they were moved outside Dubai, small rooms etc. So from this point of view it was a generous having a room with size of 36sqm for 2 persons. There was one big disadvantage. We have always stayed in rooms with balcony or terrace in Dubai. But rooms in Media Rotana having no balcony and also it is not possible to open window. So being locked in room (5th floor) with no chance to brief fresh air, open window and sit on balcony and especially in time when you really need to change the air in the room well....it was not a good experience for me and didn´t help to a smooth process of covid recovery. But it was not the hotel fault. But it was not the hotel fault. It is simply the style of construction of the hotel. The A/C was working but a bit noisy but A/C is not the same as fresh air. Maybe it was even more about the option to open the "cage". The meal was provided 3 times a day (+/- in the similar time). Well it was a bit monotone but appreciated that always there was some fruit for breakfast and fresh vegetable for lunch and dinner. The delivery from outside was also an option. We needed to work during the quarantine and have to say that wifi was perfect and great also for Netflix (it was necessary to prepay Netflix as the hotel TV offer was without film channels). Special thanks for Ali who accompanied us to the room on the first day and arranged for us delivery from pharmacy etc during our stay. Also he arranged for us late check-out when we were waiting for PCR test results prior our departure. The second thanks to doctor Apsy. She visited each guest twice a day, measured temperatur and blood oxigenation. She came even in the night when I didn´t feel well. Over time, I may say it was an overall "good" experience with the hotel.…

I had a wonderful time at this hotel, the staff were all friendly and helpful, very responsive and professional. I booked a standard room which was fine except it was a connected room and the people next door were a bit noisy at night, so i asked to change the room and they immediately responded, they even upgraded me to a premium room at the same rate which was a really nice gesture. The rooms are spacious, clean with all the amenities you would expect in a 5 star hotel.
The hotel was very good and rooms very modern and has a swimming pool and club was very hood partys and the team was nice and helpful and MR Aung was very friendly and The food was very tasty Thank you !
Check in was smooth and easy with warm and welcoming staff. Nice large room which was both clean and comfortable if a little dated and in need of a ace lift. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Dubai.
