The hotel is in a perfect position if you want to use the Dubai Metro to get about. We arrived at about 10 pm after are bags were delayed by customs. (Hint do not put big bars of chocolate at the bottom of your case). The big Sri Lankan guy on reception (sorry carn`t remember your name) was very efficient, courteous and even manged to upgrade us to the club floor. The rooms are clean spacious and functional. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice with both hot and cold food with plenty of coffee. The roof top pool was fine my only gripe is that the cushions on the sunbeds are filthy and need a dam good clean. The roof top bar was dammed expensive for both beer and coke. We never used the gym or spa. In summery, if you are looking for a value hotel with great travel links you cannot go far wrong with this place.

Reading reviews I really wanted to give this place a 5 and couldnt wait but had to give a 4 here's why.
Postives The location is close to the sharaf DG metro station 4 min walk. Also super close to the mall of Emirates 10 min walk Overall clean Rooms are great size bathroom also great size. Mini toiletries. Pool area super nice and warm water even though outside. Most staff super nice. Asked for feather down pillow brought right to eoom.amd same guy brought water and another pair of slippers. Best part Gave the best birthday surprise soumya Mukherjee room division manager is amazing was not expecting it.
Negatives Front desk people mostly super rude the only good encounter I had was checkout. Most dont speak English super shocked on this so hard to communicate. Room next to highway super noisy. Couldnt sleep cause this is all I heard. Bathroom shower tub holy cow terrible design I'm 5'4 and had a hard time getting out. Really need to redesign as serious injuries could occur. Bathroom needs detailed cleaning mold in areas.
Overall review So it costed 85 aed from airport to this location we used a taxi. Please be careful as I read review on taxis this taxi credit card machine didnt work. Thank god I exchanged money before we left airport. Next check in Front desk check in lady was super rude telling me since I booked with points I dont get breakfest first time that's happened but still thanks me for my loyalty as an IHG member. I asked her pool hours tells me 10am to 8pm. So was frustrated as this was the reason I choose this place. the booklet in room says 6am to 10pm. But actual hours are 8am to 9pm.which again would be nice to use before going out for the day or after. No hot tub here. Pool is outside but warm. Also small kid pool. The sauna was nice and hot in the women bathroom. Overall this place is good for value but far from main attractions

We have held another course program at Holiday Inn and my team including the delegates were very impressed with the professionalism of the events team. Khurram was very professional, responsive and helpful. Mr. Alfred made sure to cater all our last-minute requests and has looked after us from time to time before and during the day of the event. The room setup was impeccably arranged and coffee breaks with snacks were deliciously made with variety of options. Utmost safety protocol is always adhered up to standards. This review is about Holiday In Hotel located at Al Barsha 1 Sheikh Zayed Road, Next To Mall of the, Emirates And Sharaf Dg Metro Station. This stay happened at the time of Covid19 in the month of June 2020, so my judgment on what happened in actuals. The hotel is in great location surrounded by restaurants and many other others, good access to any mean of transport if you want. the hotel provide basement parking with was 2nd great point and best thing is self-parking. The place is quiet and big enough if you are a fan of indoor walking. The check in and out was smooth without any hurdles. The room was clean, leaving few dusty spots here and there, which can be ignored. The room & washroom need upgrades and some maintenance for the tiles, walls and furniture. The room service was also good and provided what was requested. Now I was a guest on half board, selected the option and paid for it but did not get it thou it was confirmed at the check in & Crosse checked with the kitchen. I would assume the hotel provide good buffet in normal days, but for me it was a nightmare getting down to find the restaurant closed with nobody to assist in the whole lobby see photos. My problem started with unpleasant, don’t know how to talk, kitchen staff with poor service staff for 2 meals. My dinner looked like its for someone on a diet and breakfast came with spoiled and smelly sausages see photos. I did not complain, because I don’t want anyone to lose his job at this horrible time of Covid19, but hey give me the service I paid for, or let me know if its not there and refund me, I will understand. I would say it was a good stay if did not face the issue with the food.

This is hotel which is 500 m from Dubai mall . The room size are huge . Breakfast was decent with a variety of indian dishes The staff especially chaimaa at the reception was very helpful knowing that my flight is next day guiding me immediately to the hospital where I can do the Covid test so that it would come on time and not only that chaimaa and fevie Infact even took the stress the next day by making ensure that the report comes on time. Disappointed to find out on checking in, having paid extra to book a club room, that the club lounge was closed. I notice you are still advertising availability of club rooms! The staff were generally helpful and tried to offer some alternatives, but drinks in a public sports bar, or a couple of glasses of wine delivered to the room, did not really make up for extra costs incurred with this booking. You need to advise people on your app/website, prior to booking, that the club lounge is still closed.

I knew about the hotel from previous visits to Dubai but had only been in the Thai restaurant. The location is perfect with its ease pf access to the metro / airport.The housekeeping staff were pleasant and respected the do not disturb signs as I was teaching on-line. Once removed, they were very attentive and helpful, as, indeed, were all staff. It was a friendly welcome to breakfast every day. A good start to the day.. The Thai restaurant was a must and lived up to its reputation. At the end of the teaching week, it was a pleasure to be able to go to the bar and relax.
Pecial mention to Ahsan and Pardeep who helped to quench the thirst!
Highly recommended.

I checked in after arriving from the airport. I emailed the hotel informing them I would be arriving late, so check in was painless. I reserved a club level 1 bedroom suite, which comes with breakfast.
The room has a powder room next to the front door. The living room was nice sized with a business desk and a pantry area with the coffee maker, hot pot, juice squeezer and a small refrigerator.
The bedroom / main bath area is the same size as the living room. The bedroom had a king sized bed. The pillows had pillowcases marked soft and firm, though I'm not sure they accurately described the pillows inside them. One side of the mattress had a "divot" in it and was lower than the other side of the mattress. The main bathroom was nice sized. The bathtub had a rather high step over. I'm 6'1" (185 cm) and the top of the tub was at the bottom of my kneecap. The hotel has installed a handhold and placed a warning sticker on the glass curtain warning about the step into the tub.
Breakfast is in the Gem Garden restaurant. It is an assisted buffet breakfast with an omelette bar. The buffet is multinational with no pork items.
I had some meals in the Q Bar, the sports bar in the hotel. I had the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger. The burger was nice sized and came with fries. The onions on the burger were actually onion rings.

Checked in was very easy, we booked the suite and two extra single beds for the kids, told me two extra beds and everything is ready. Came into room, no extra beds and room was dirty. 10 minutes later, extra beds arrived. I inspected beds after the staff left, both looked terrible, one picture attached for reference, other bed had springs sticking out not fit for an animal and should've been disposed off. Ceiling tiles in bathroom misplaced, dust in the room also. Complained, Arun moved us into another suite next door which looked much better. Also gave us new extra beds in amazing condition Double bed in main room was creaking everywhere, so so uncomfortable. All these rooms are tired and out of date. They do not look like pictures and need updating. Had to call housekeeping again for the creaking double bed which was abit embarrassing. Breakfast next morning was crazy busy, staff not equipped to deal with influx. People rushing everywhere, no staff to help, no one was at the main entrance for breakfast so we just walked in. My child vomitted, no one on hand to help. Had to shout for help, one person came and was useless. My child passed out after vomiting, asked for help in restaurant, they directed me to reception, left child and had to queue behind other people to get help, eventually I lost my temper and started shouting and got Erwin's attention who assisted. This was terrible and the staff can only apologise but actually do nothing. The music from the hotel club is very loud. Al Barsha is quite an upmarket area but this hotel is not in fitting with others I have stayed in e.g. Hilton garden Inn. I spent first two days of my holiday correcting faults that hotel staff should have quality checked prior to my arrival. There is a culture of doing the minimum and wait for customer to accept. I felt embarrassed having to point out these issues as that's not really my job but yours. Each time the staff did what they could but it's not in my style to keep pushing for issues to be resolved when they are basic stuff. Each time calling housekeeping and then having to wait for them, then for them to fix and finally for me to review and usually saying no it's still not right. It's quite disheartening that the team can't do this themselves before guests arrive into rooms. Surely that's one of the reason to stay in such hotels? Some happy and helpful staff but tired and depressing hotel. They have done what they can and apologised. Sadly apologies can't repair the impact and stress they have caused me for the first few days and overall. opinion of this hotel.
This hotel is tired, out of date and not holiday inn standard. Don't waste your money
