Arjaan - Dubai Media City stands out for its immaculate cleanliness and the housekeeping staff's attention to detail, as consistently noted by travelers. The spacious rooms and serene pool area contribute to the hotel's tranquil and elegant atmosphere, which many guests appreciate.
While the staff's friendliness and professionalism are often praised, there have been instances where the service did not meet expectations. Some visitors feel that the hotel doesn't provide good value, citing the need for room modernization and the disturbance from external noise.

I have stayed here for several weeks. The staff are the greatest asset. The appartment rooms are spacious and have everything you need and if it's not there then the fantastic housekeeping staff will try to find it. The welcome is warm and respectful and after just a couple of days the concierge team and others make you feel like you are home. Every time I pass through reception I am greeted by a warm welcome. The hotel is one of the older hotels in the area but well maintained, clean and it is nice to have something from the culture in such a modern area I hope they never lose that. The pool is small but ideal for a cool down and there are always plenty of comfortable sunbeds. The gym is compact but well equipped and rarely busy. The girl who works there was especially kind and helpful. I am really sad to leave this has been a great base for getting out and seeing the city and the personal but respectful attitude of all the staff when you come back after a long day is a special thing. Special Thanks to Ashar, Michael and Ashok, to the girl in the gym and to housekeeping on each floor I have stayed in. As a married lady travelling alone I have never felt so welcome and safe.

This was my second stay at the Hotel. I guess my not so perfect experience the first time was because of the result of pandemic restrictions and getting used to staying on bigger rooms in other Rotana hotels.
This time, though the room is still the same small room but I have noticed and appreciated the difference from last year. Room was very clean and comfortable and staffs are more engaging this time. My sister was staying on a separate room which has a Living room and Kitchen with her family and that room was also more than what we expected.
The breakfast has more options and everyone in the dining hall are making sure you are enjoying your meal and you are serve right.
Plus the location is conveniently close to Tram station to go to JBR and also The Palm. Since we get to experience the Tram and Monorail with ease of access that definitely makes it all the more better than last year.

Rooms are nice and big and roomy. They also offer a variety of room styles. The staff is great and very helpful. Breakfast has a good variety of food to satisfy a variety of needs. They also arranged airport pickup for us. No alcohol at the hotel restaurant but the location is close to the marina which has a good variety of restaurants who do serve alcohol.

On a business trip I stayed at Arjaan for 2 weeks. I particularly liked the location of the hotel as it is just across the road from my office and very easy access to Sheikh Zayed Road (no traffic light at all!), Marina is only a 20 minute pleasant walk away and beach is just a bit further.
As for the room I stayed in, it was a huge 1 bed apartment on the lower floors, looked over the sea/Palm Jumeirah. Although the windows were floor to ceiling, the apartment was very dark meaning the lights were constantly on.
Cleaniness of the place wasn't great - funiture and curtains were tired and grubby, the headboard was stained, the entire place was dusty and it didn't feel clean after housekeeping has been. I don't think it helps the fact that the sliding balcony doors weren't tightly sealed so dust was flying in and for that matter, I could hear all the cars and tram ALL day long, even after midnight.
Whilst I understand English isn't everyone's first language but I did expect a certain level of understanding from the staff. One evening I called room service and I asked what desserts they had, they had ice cream, cheesecake etc. When I asked what flavoured cheesecake they had, the gentleman said "cheese". What?! Another time I asked housekeeping for bottled water (they forgot to replace them during their visit), they couldn't understand what I wanted and thought I wanted to order samosas!
That day I worked at the apartment I deliberately put the do not disturb sign on the door so housekeeping doesn't come in. When I ordered room service for lunch, the food runner called the house phone, he said it was because I had the sign on. I mean, if I really ask for no disturbance, by calling me on the house phone, you HAVE already disturbed me. Where is the logic in this??
One other thing that annoyed me was that the staff use the guests lifts. I have no problem sharing lifts with anyone but when there aren't enough lifts during rush hour and you see staff in the lift so you can't get in, it's frustrating. In my experiences at other hotels, if any staff is in the lift and there isn't enough room for additional guest to come in, the staff leaves and let you get in. Why is this not the case here? Quite often they get in the lift just to go to the floor above/below! There is definitely a service lift but so not sure what the problem is?
Look, if you are looking to get your head down, this place is fine. But for holiday makers, better off staying elsewhere.

Used to be a great place, been here two years before. However, upon arrival I have been asked to park the car by my self due to Covid, even though all other places have a valet parking in Dubai. I guess they don’t want to invest into safety kits for customer cars and they are understaffed. Concierge stuff was nice. Check-in was delayed at beginning and the promised room with the nice view was „not available“. After arguing with the staff they finally agreed on giving me my room with on hour delay from the regular check-in time. Only on guy at the reception was supportive, the other ladies hung up on my via phone earlier that day, absolutely rude. Room was nice and clean but almost every amenity item was missing and needed to be requested separately ( towels, bathrobes, dental kit etc). The breakfast was a bad experience, the nice hotel staff are not managing to follow up with the guests because everything needs to be served. I spent half of my morning going back and forth to finally get my eggs. Check out was okay.

I stayed for one night in the one room pool suite. it is the highlight of the stay. having private pool that is accessible anytime is a very good added value to the room. the suite was good. spacious and with decent amenities. some of the windows needed a good clean. other than this, the suite facilities were really good. the breakfast has very limited options for dairy allergic guests. however the restaurant team was very helpful. the

My family visited Dubai for my sister's destination wedding. It was really nice staying in Arjaan by Rotana for a week. The rooms are like an apartment style with living room, dinning area, kitchens and many toilets and bathrooms. The view from the hotel rooms are splendid and it is also very close to the marina. The aesthetics of the hotel is really nice, I had fun taking pictures inside. We also realised (albeit too late) that the beautiful space on the lobby floor can also be used for events and weddings. The staff gave premium treatments, always offered to arrange taxi's for the group. The best part for me was the restaurant! I looked forward to breakfast every morning. there was variety of food and something for everyone including vegans. The waiters were very nice and attentive, one of them (from Kenya) would remember our orders from the previous day and offer to bring same or something different. Every staff i met on the elevator or around the hotel smiled and was really nice. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.

Very low quality of service recently, low profile guests based on low average prices. Rooms are very poor and not up to standards, bed and bed sheets were not cleansed properly and no hygiene all over the place.
I were hearing other guests while just talking to each others at night as if there is no walls or as if it’s made by paper (couldn’t sleep ever after 1am once they came from their outings)
Maintenance in the hotel ground floor with very noisy environment all the day till 8pm. (The section beside the lobby)
Breakfast becomes very poooooor rather than what it used to be already before, very limited items with basic quality and even no refill for many of items (fruits and yogurt).
People serving the guests at Cilantro restaurant are very sad, rude and feeling obligated 😠
A significant drop for overall quality for the hotel after Covid, that should be alerting to hotel management since as you are today, it’s not worthing the current day rate.
Very disappointed from my stay at Arjan Rotana..

Yes the hotel has complimentary pool & jacuzzi on designated area.
This hotel don't serve alcohol and I didn't see anything about pork in the room menu so my guess the breakfast is halal.
