Great hotel and service. Room was cleaned perfectly everyday by Phoo. Food in the restaurant was amazing and made to order each and every time. Just a short walk away from the theme parks. Motiongate had the fastest rollercoaster ride I have ever been on and is perfect for families with children of all ages.

We stayed for 4D/3N in a Family room. It was unexpectedly awesome experience of everything, from the excellent service to the fun filled days at the 3 amazing parks - Motiongate, Legoland Waterpark and Legoland Themed Park. Initially, we only booked for a 3 day stay, however we were so reluctant to let go of this paradise. Why? Because of its all-in package. Our deciding factor to extend for another night does not rely only with the parks but also because of the daily sumptuous & well thought of delectable breakfast specially made by the experts namely Chef Ratheesh along with the 2 other Filipino chefs who made extra efforts in serving our comfort foods like Macaroni Sopas, Arroz Caldo and Champorado. We were also get to taste caviar for the first time, isn't it truly amazing? For us, an extended stay means we get to enjoy more at the lazy river & the serenity of this lovely resort feels hotel. Finally, we also wanted to commend Mark of Kalea Restaurant for assisting us cheerfully along with the other lady servers. Special mention to Saidou & Sanjeev for a quick, smooth and hassle-free a check-in & check-out process. We will definitely recommend Lapita to all our friends and family. We had a great time at Lapita! The personnel was great and very helpful. Must one of the cleanest hotels I’ve been to. Special thanks to Phoo and the others for rearranging our mess and perfectly cleaning our room. It was always a bliss to walk in after long days at the parks. My 5yo daughter got special place in her heart for the Bugy ( calls them boogy) drivers (Success and the rest of the crew). Thanks for giving us a lift when the small feet couldn’t do the walking anymore and thanks your patience. The morning buffet was great, with lots of vegan options. A little variation from day to day could be great though. We had only breakfast included in our package. I would suggest all inclusive if with kids as meals are pricey fx. We spent around 175-200 for the cheapest menus every evening and sometimes my daughter wouldn’t like the food. On our last day we had buffet at Hikina restaurant. The desserts were most delicious and my daughter loved the coconut ice cream. Great live entertainment as well. I missed though hearty vegetable salads and opted for fish even though I prefer plant based diet as options were minimal. All in all a great experience and would recommend Lapita for great experience and parks accessibility.…

We recently stayed at Lapita with our 2 children aged 2 and 8 months. Right from the moment we arrived the thing that stood out the most to us was the friendliness of the staff and their attention to detail! They are phenomenal and are very attentive with the children. There were a number of occasions where if anyone noticed our children crying or upset they would come over and try their best to make them feel better. The management even gave them free cake pops on 2 occasions! The hotel is a Polynesian/Hawaiian theme and the grounds of the hotel are immaculately kept. There was always a team either cleaning or performing maintenance of the grounds and they travel around on electric golf buggies. I have seen some reviews on here suggesting that parts of the grounds appear tired or in need of maintenance. However, in my opinion this is not the case. I am sure there are areas with signs of wear and tear but we stayed here for 10 days and they were certainly not noticeable to us. The grounds are also full of ambient lighting at night making it a pleasure for a nice evening walk. If you want a bit of a longer/more lively walk then Riverland is open till late and again has a lovely atmosphere. The room was spacious and cleaned well everyday although we didn’t have towel animals or any real decorations on the bed as others have reviewed on here but it was all cleaned with with fresh bottles of water delivered each day. Beds were comfortable and air con was effective. Safe was also free to use in the room. We booked the half board plus package which was brilliant. HB plus includes ice cream for the kids and also soft drinks. They allow you to have lunch or dinner on the package which means you can venture out in the evening for dinner or lunch should you wish. However, I will point out that the food here is amazing! Ari pool restaurant serve more lunchtime food but is open late should you wish to have a long day around the pool. Kalea restaurant is a buffet for breakfast/dinner and there are lots of international dishes to choose from. I should point out here that if there is nothing you really fancy then the chefs will go out of their way to make you pretty much anything you want anyway. Special mention to Ratheesh who made brilliant pancakes for our daughter each morning. Also to Siddhi and Eureka who looked after us at meal times and were brilliant with entertaining the children. We dined at the Hikina restaurant once which was again very good and offers a slightly different variety of dishes when compared to the buffet. Wi-Fi signal was good around the hotel and also around the parks. Some areas of the parks were a bit of a black spot but this wasn’t too much of an issue. The free shuttle service provided to all the main parts of the city is brilliant. It goes to JBR open beach, mall of the emirates and Dubai mall. The shuttle sets of from the hotel at 10am and starts picking up from the above locations at around 15:00 so gives enough time to enjoy a day at the beach or a good day of shopping. It’s worth noting that it is around a 25-30min trip to the marina/beach and around 35-30min drive to the Dubai mall/Burj Khalifa. There is a slightly smaller outlet mall within around 8-10mins walk from the hotel which has a mini supermarket should you need any urgent supplies and also a few other outlet shops and food outlets. The theme park tickets were included in the stay and if staying for 3 nights or more then you get unlimited park hopper access. Our 2 year old loved LEGOLAND and LEGOLAND water park as at 95cm she is unable to go on a lot of the attractions at the other parks. Motiongate has a number of good rides but mostly for older children so not as good for little ones. Bollywood park surprisingly did have quite a few rides for toddlers and our daughter loved them. One thing that is worth mentioning is that some of the parks are extremely quiet! At times it’s hard to understand how they can afford to keep them open. On the day we went to Bollywood for example, we were walking for a good 10mins before we even saw one single person. It’s not a massive issue but it just detracts from the atmosphere a little and as others have said it should be called ‘Zombie land’. A lot of the restaurants/food outlets in Riverland are also closed down which is probably as a result of the pandemic but is a shame nonetheless . This last paragraph is not reflective of the hotel at all but i thought it was worth mentioning on here as it is part of the parks resort. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we will most definitely be booking again for next year! We have never opted to go back to any other hotel we have stayed at so this says a lot. I write my reviews from a neutral point of view, writing only what I observe/experience so that you have a valid unbias view to read. The Good. Hotel is clean, theme of hotel is fun, quick walk to the Dubai parks but clearer signage needed. Great that Park tickets included in hotel stay. Room is clean. Breakfast is 110 aed ( 6-12 55aed which is OK: my daughter had juice, a waffle and a croissant) , not bad. A la carte option available. Egg station delivers to the table. Outside dining is available. Allowed to take a small box away with croissants for the children... This was excellent. Lazy river is nice, good amount of lifeguards on duty. Bill for breakfast was brought rapidly. All staff encountered were polite and helpful. Hotel grounds very clean, great landscaping. Water ordered the next morning at 10:30 arrived quickly, but surprised it was not Lapita branded water as we had initially the day before. Late checkout 'till 1pm was available. Grass badminton court setup by main pool. Outside beanbag cinema was cool. Pool was nice and cold. Good clean working parasols around pool. Checkout at 12:20 was very rapid. The Bad. The signage mentions accomodation block names but you are looking for a block number, so tricky to find the block. Checkin was slow, separate desk for park tickets slowed things down, no welcome drink offered. At breakfast the bread is nowhere near the cold cuts which is a bit abnormal and makes funding the bread awkward. Fresh coffee only available from reception when at breakfast however you can request this, otherwise from a machine. Breakfast is quite noisey, especially at 9am as the general chat mixes with the background music. Bedside lamps only switch off if you pull out bedside tables and find the switch on the cable. Welcome name on TV only used Surname eg Welcome "Surname". Requested extra water and a spare toothbrush via a call to reception at approx 8pm... Unfortunately this didn't arrive. Music was playing from landscape speakers at 9pm and was quite loud, surprisingly no music at 9am by pool :-) possibly because it's Ramadan and so understandable. Music did start by 10:51 :-) At checkin there was no mention of kids club, kids activities. We only discovered the activities by finding various notices scattered around the hotel and grounds.. Bit like a treasure hunt :-). The sunloungers by the pools need cleaning overnight as there was bird mess on them from the day before., also limited vision of children in the main pool owing to landscaping. Guests were allowed to enter the main pool in normal clothes and not swimwear which is unusual in Dubai. No shade over main pool. Some Menu buttons on parasols around pool were broken. Cracked lifebelt around pool suggests maintenaince management needs attention. Lack of exit signafe when driving away from hotel entrance. The bell desk was chaos when departing with arriving suitcases were mixed with arriving luggage on the birdcages. The Ugly Lakeside view is a bit of a building site, valet gave no welcome and appeared to be in a daze as to what to do. Bags took a long time to be delivered. No control for ceiling fan in room, TV prevents other source access apart from a 'connect your device option on the hotel TV home main screen, but then this only allows hdmi input but there is no access to the hdmi socket in back of TV and how do I connect my phone for say Netflix? TV channels not all working eg FOX Family! No USB outlets in room and no usb adaptors available from hotel for loan. Rating: 3/5. We only stayed for 2 days so we had 2 park passes for 2 days. Each day we were exhausted. The basic theme of this hotel is Polynesian - like a very cool Hawaiian setting. And I think they did a really good job of that. It did kinda feel like Hawaii minus the ocean. There is a bunch of pools, a small lazy river, activities for the kids and movies at nite. This is perfect location for this hotel. Then breakfast offered was set up very nicely and the staff all very friendly. Thanks to Sabina - every time we saw her she made us laugh, so friendly. Thanks for the glue that fixed my shoe! Anyways, You basically walk right over the one of the parks in like 10 mins. It's perfectly designed that way. You get up have your breakfast and move to the parks. The crowds were smaller in size than back in the states so going numerous times on each ride was possible especially with small line ups. We would like to return back one day and finish the rest of the parks we didn't visit. The autograph did a good job, we felt safe and had a great time. Thanks…
