Being for the 5th time tourists in Dubai, only in hotels of at least 4 stars, my wife and I say without any doubt that Dusit D2Kenz Hotel was by far the winner of the title of "supreme stay". We had a stay of 17 nights here and we enjoyed throughout it the warmth and helpfulness of the reception staff, the concierge and last but not least the Ostro restaurant of the hotel. The room I stayed in was first of all clean but also spacious and equipped with everything I needed. On our 15th floor, being the room with a balcony, with a direct view of the subway, we were impressed by how well it was soundproofed. The furniture is modern and practical, and there is digitally customizable air conditioning. Breakfast, even if it was a la carte, was varied enough, tasty and filling but also seasoned with the warmth with which TK and its entire team greeted us every time and seeks to make everything right for us. At the same time, the location of the hotel, 100 m from the Dubai Internet City metro station, was very helpful. Certainly, for all this and many other positive aspects, our next vacation in Dubai will be, again, at Dusit D2Kenz.

This place has all the essential amenities and should appeal to all kinds of travellers.The prices stay reasonable most of the times but make sure to book in advance so as to avoid paying extra as you get closer to the date of your visit.The rooms are also very well equipped and I found no problems enjoying myself and living calmly on every single day of my visit. Well the only changes I would like to see is the addition of new dishes to the food menu. The staff present here will go an extra mile in taking good care of you and they are always brimming with positivity and joy.

I was in the hotel for a week. During this time everyone we met from hotel were very kind and generous. We had a package with breakfast - it has different options on what to eat - eggs, omlettes, sausages, potato sticks, dairy and there's always a bowl with fruits and salad. It's really clean and every morning there is option to let the janitor clean your room if needed. He always brings water, changes towels and gives other necessities if needed.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 wks (15days exactly) it's a nice hotel well maintained, nice rooms and design. As it was a little local vacation for myself and my fiancé due to the current crisis not being able to travel home for vacation we decided to spend sometime here, its a perfect location for us travelling to and from work the few days we had to during the stay aswell close to convenient stores,salons, metro etc.
Front office and FnB room service staff are very cool and friendly and welcoming, had friends stay and visit few days and they gave them rooms on the same floor as us so very convenient for little gatherings, when we ordered room service they were always friendly and efficient and the people delivering the items too..
But sad to say it was not all positive we were checked in to a twin bed room which the beds were joined however we requested a king bed in advance whilst booking not very comfortable as the bed linen keeps getting outof place and you can feel the join between the 2beds. Nobody checked up to see if all was ok during the stay or if you comfortable nevertheless we are not the type to call and make an issue so we managed with what we got.
Secondly our room cleaning was very average to say the least some days amenities not refreshed or old ones not discarded from the garbage. They knew we 2 people but they usually place 1 bath towel, some days crumbs from food were left still on the floor or side table. Not sure how that works because if you do not place your room on Do Not Disturb housekeeping will be at your door from after 10am. Shower drainage for the water is bad floods easily and goes into the floor, as well we had to call engineering twice once to turn up the heat of the water and secondly because when we woke up one morning the bathroom floor from the door was wet due to a leak from the ceiling.
We unfortunately did not use all facilities, however the pool is nice restaurants are ok, food is good however could be more options for room service.

This hotel is a total mess, to be honest. I was staying in this hotel with my wife, a 2-year-old daughter and our mums for 6 nights. I am a usually quiet guest and don't like to call reception or complain but there were so many problems. The first one was the board holding towel in the bathroom dropped on my wife's feet. Then there was a two set of towels for three of us and only one shower gel and one shampoo. The next morning we found a huge leak from the ceiling in the bathroom. The engineer spends 2 hours in our bathroom to sort this out. Overnight I decided to switch off the aircon because even on the lower mode was blowing like crazy. Everything was ok until around 3 am when the aircon turned on itself. Aircon panel was showing off but aircon was on. It has happened in both our rooms. When we called reception they send someone to switch aircon through the main electrical board. This hotel is three years old and is in total mess already. Let be honest the location is very good and the rooms looking good. The staff is friendly but the cleaning service should be improved and I am not blaming the person who cleaned my room but management. In most of the hotels, there is someone who checking the rooms after cleaners and you can see fewer mistakes from peoples but this is not happening in Dusit d2. I do not want to even talk about breakfast where after 10 am most of the warm food plates were empty. I can clearly see that this hotel trying to save money on everything.

The pros: most of the staff are friendly. Anthony the IT man was especially helpful. The room is a decent size. Blackout curtains. Good movie channels compared to many other UAE hotels. Good location in the sense it was pretty central to most things, not for scenery.
The cons:
Room cleaning service was poor. They changed the bedsheets, emptied the trash and removed the used towels but that was it. They didn't clean the room or the surfaces. They didn't replace the towels they removed. They took the dirty cups and glasses and didn't replace them either. It was like they gave up halfway through.
The breakfast was very disappointing. Before COIVD they used to do an amazing buffet breakfast. Most hotels have continued with their buffet-style breakfasts with the staff serving the food from the buffet. However, Dusit took an extremely limited selection of the most basic food from the buffet and put it on a "choose one dish only" set menu which has to be filled out on arrival. Everything is then served in plastic (bad for the environment) in tiny portions. A huge step down from the pre-covid variety and quality.
One morning I waited to receive my "breakfast selection form" at the restaurant counter for 10 mins and nobody served me. I gave up in the end and ordered breakfast from outside instead.
The bed is far too soft - if you need a firm mattress, I would not recommend this hotel.
The original towels in the room were green and so small they wouldn't even wrap around my body. I had to ask if they had any bigger towels which they did but when they brought them they must have been about 10 years old. They were falling apart, thin, grey (even though meant to be white.)
Two of the staff were grumpy when I asked for their help.
The pool was tiny. The photos are clearly taken at an angle to make it look longer than it really is.

Pros: 10/15 mins taxi ride to Marina and Mall of Emirates (too far to walk) Rooms sizes are big Reception staff are friendly Rooms are cleaned daily For covid, temps is checked at entry to hotel and entry to restaurant and entry to pool. Everyone wears masks and hand sanitiser is in alot of places. Gym is a good size and well equipped. Pool is on rooftop and usually not very busy. Pool closes at 6pm. Free bottles of water provided daily. There is a car park that can be used.
Cons: Due to pandemic, breakfast is not a buffet but you are given a sheet to tick off what items you want. However, you probably won't get that when they serve you, as it seems to be pretty random... But if you keep asking, you'll get it in the end. Food is served on plates, but coffee/tea in paper cups. Anything more then a regular coffee is charged for. Although room is cleaned, sometimes things are missed, e.g sheets aren't changed unless you ask.
Hotel is dry, so no alcohol is served (could be a pro for families).

During this time, the hotel room itself was very nice. The hotel is big with great decor and aesthetic, and it's also nice and clean. The housekeeping staff was good for the most part (didn't replace a dirty cup for a few days and missed a few spots and places). Other than that, the bedding and room was very comfortable to sleep in. Additionally, the hotel's facilities such as the pool and gym are quite nice. The hotel staff are also friendly and helpful with whatever you need. The accommodation side definitely meets expectations!
The one part that was certainly not worth the money, was the breakfast and restaurant side of the hotel. I'm not sure if it's because of how they have decided to handle the coronavirus situation within their hotel but the food is definitely not worth a 4* hotel's rating. Some of the promotions that they have displayed are not accurate with what is actually being offered supposedly because of coronavirus affecting their restaurants.
Breakfast was served on styrofoam plates and was mediocre at best. Even though their supposed normal breakfast buffet was substituted for a set menu, the quality seems to have dipped significantly. Often, you will not receive everything that is listed on the set menu and you will have to ask the server for anything you didn't get. By the 3rd day of our week stay, we had enough of the food for breakfast. We expected a lot more from the restaurant and food based on the reviews we read before booking.
Restaurant and room service food was also only average. The service was alright but it is not worth the price you pay for it. Your money is better spent getting better food walking around the area or from the grocery store across the street.
If you stay at this hotel, it is a nice accomodation worth its reviews, HOWEVER, be aware to not expect too much from its food services at this time.

I stayed at Dusit D2 twice in a year, both stays were a month or longer. Staff is professional and friendly, service is fast & reliable, cleanliness & Covid-times safety measures are taken ultra-seriously & with impeccable attention to details, including checking guests Covid Tests, temperatures, disinfecting rooms & bags etc... Discounts are given on in-room dining to encourage social distancing, and also the food came wrapped in nylon, and never once did I worry about the measures being taken. Very trustworthy. I definitely recommend this hotel for both safety & privacy, they truly made me feel at home. Thank you Dusit D2 management & staff for taking responsibility and caring at these rough times. I stayed here for two nights during a work trip and it was just perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly - they went out of their way to give me a nice (corner) room, checked if everything was fine after I moved in, gave me late checkout at 4pm without an additional fee and really made me feel at home. The hotel has a nice modern and light feel to it and a pleasant boutique size. The room was spacious, the bed comfy, the wifi worked well. The only issue was the light situation in the bathroom (too dark). The breakfast was nice and had enough warm and cold choices including the most delicious, creamy oatmeal. There are two restaurants - I only tried the Thai place and the food was nice enough (but the place pretty empty). I had an amazing reflexology massage at the spa and also a very good pedicure. The metro station is just behind the hotel which is really handy and Uber is also available within a few minutes. There’s an ATM at the petrol station across the street. My stay was perfect in every way and I‘d come back in a heartbeat.

Hi! The hotel is near the metro station and it’s very comfortable. But if you need the taxi service and organise transfer you should send the request to the hotel directly. As usual the city tax includes in the booking rate payment.
I wasn’t there in March, I was there in November, and we had full sun all morning, and we went two afternoons, and it was mostly sunny. It was super hot because the glass and concrete walls block the wind, and the water was beautiful. The downside is there are only 6 to 8 lounge chairs, but the very kind gentleman who was working there brought up these giant nylon beanbags for people when all the chairs were taken.
