We decided to splurge and book one of the aquarium suites, and while it was expensive, it was worth every dirham. From the moment we arrived to the the moment we left, everything was amazing. The suite came with a private butler, and we had incorrectly assumed that meant we had someone we could call on if we needed anything. What it really means is we had someone to make sure we were able to get anywhere we needed to be (dining, water park, aquarium, etc) and make all arrangements for tours, food, transportation. Stan was the person assigned to us and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He was kind enough to arrange a late checkout for us as we were moving to a different hotel for the next part of our stay in Dubai (to be closer to the Dubai Mall and the venue for ComicCon). He also arranged a car to take us to the next hotel, compliments of the Atlantis. The suite itself was amazing, as was expected. My 14 year old daughter felt like a princess in the large bedroom with the aquarium views and the spa-like bathroom. The suite has a large living area with a bedroom below the water level for aquarium views. It also comes with a connecting room, which was also nice, but not as luxurious as the room in the suite. It had two queen beds and a large bathroom, all with plenty of space to spread out if the main area of the suite isn't enough for you. The rooms and amenities were quite nice, but for us what really put the Atlantis over the top was the service. From the arrival to departure, everything was fantastic. The porters who greeted us to the check in staff and the servers at the restaurants and the wonderful butler were amazing. I believe it was put best when someone told us that the Atlantis considers anything less than perfect to be a failure.…
Staying for a few days at Atlantis? If so unless you really want to you really dont need to leave site - this is the hotel which has it all !!! This was our second visit but first with the kids and it's fair to say they were in awe. The lost chambers - in effect a giant aquarium full of thousands of enormous fish including sharks and ray's effortlessly swimming in a natural environment- was s huge favourite. As was the giant waterpark ... the enormous pool ... the private beach ... the fine restaurants ... the dolphins at Dolphins Bay ... the massive rooms - the list is endless !!! Security wise it has to be one of the safest hotels we have ever visited with security staff keeping an eye on proceedings wherever necessary. All staff we found to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Our holiday was booked with the benefit of using the hotels Imperial Club which means you get breakfast and evening meal included and also eats and drinks in the Imperial Club lounge for afternoon tea or "happy hour" The imperial club was more expensive to book but ultimately was money well spent as the hotels drinks and food can be quite expensive saved as is to be expected for a hotel of this nature. We also had a 2 bedroom family suite which was enormous and spotlessly clean - two queen size beds, a king size, three 65in TVs, lounge, huge bathrooms and sea view terrace style balconies - some of the biggest we've seen. Airport transfers were also included - a further benefit of having booked the imperial club. If you get the chance to visit this hotel then do it - it is an experience in itself but for all the right reasons. The whole family loved everything about our trip and we look forward to returning at some stage in the future. …
We are a family of 3: me, my wife and our 8 years old daughter. We chose Atlantis because of her as she loves pools and water parks. We stayed on the 11th floor (east tower). We had fantastic panoramic view of the ocean from the room. We booked the club room, so breakfast, 24 hour snacks, drinks, water park were complimentary. We spent most of the daytime in the water park with our daughter as there were so many rides. There were some family rides also and because it was a peak season with soothing weather in Dubai, we had to queue for the rides. There were two towers, Neptune (probably) and Poseidon, the first tower had individual rides and the second tower had group rides. Also there were lazy river, rapids and any other attractions in the water park. In addition they have aquarium, kids club, several pools, dolphin bay (you have to pay separately and they don’t allow children alone, so you have to also buy expensive ticket for you whether you want it or not). You can easily spent 3/4 days in this resort and don’t bother what’s going on outside, they will keep you captivated. The breakfast spread is huge, they serve breakfasts in multiple restaurants, but the one in the west tower probably have the largest spread (and largest queue). They provide complimentary pick and drop from airport for the club room guests which is a big plus. The staffs are courteous in general, but probably pay more attention to the light coloured guests than the brown coloured one, but that’s a general observation about Dubai, not only for Atlantis. But it’s not that they were not courteous to us. Overall we enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next time we visit Dubai.…
