The water in your room is free and if you ask them for more they will keep giving it to you ,either ring reception or ask the maids either in the morning or at turn down (we had around 40 bottles after the first week between 7 of us).
When you around the pool just ask the boys for an ice bucket and bring the bottles from your room.
We took some of the little Robinson’s fruit squirts with us to put into the water .

At all the restaurants, cafes, snack stands, ice cream shops, bars, etc, everything was clearly marked halal or not halal, and the halal products were kept far from non-halal. The only exception would be alcohol, as alcohol was served at each restaurant and meal, and people could have alcohol products on the beach and at the pools. If you want a location that is entirely alcohol free, the Rotana Hotel brand has specific locations that allow no alcohol on site. The Rose Rayhaan by Rotana is an example, and I wrote a quality review for them as well.
