A fancy hotel with beautiful rooms and awesome breakfast. It's double the price of average hotels but you get value for your money. I paid 21,000,000 Rials for two nights ($61 approximately).

I've been to this hotel more than 10 times, alone and with tour groups. The proximity to the Meidan, but also the friendly and attentive staff is always worth a visit for us/me. The hotel is located next to the central square of Isfahan. The rooms are small, the view from the window is not very good. We stayed at the setareh Hotel. You get what you pay for and that is what we got. But at the front desk we had the chance pleasure of dealing with Maria Farhang. Maria is the most competent, helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant person we had met. From Wifi needs to taxis and restaurant recommendations she took care of it all. That is what made our stay at this Hotel so wonderful.

We were pretty pleased with our stay at this hotel. It is 5 min walk from the main square (which is a great place to loose hours strolling and meeting strangers). The rooms were a little bit like stepping into the 1980's but quite nice. Enjoyed breakfast and the staff were helpful. We also got a great rate exchanging money (much better than the banks!) Isfahan was an absolute highlight of our travels in Iran. The hotel arranged for us to have a guide for the day to explain the history of the city. They arranged Jafar Torabi - The Esfahan Guide - and he was great. I would highly recommend doing this. The highlight of the hotel was definitely the roof top restaurant and smoking Shisha there!
